WHEN REGISTERING.
---
one. Registering. When joining, register with a first and last name, with proper capitalization. A middle name is preferred, but not mandatory. If someone doesn't do this, Alex will tear her hair out because she does not like wasting time on trivial things like changing character names.
two. Applications. Do not post anywhere until your application is posted
AND accepted. You may post in the chat and general sections marked as validating friendly. If you post before acceptance, your post will be deleted, and your application possibly denied.
three. Application denial. If we don't like your application and tell you to fix some things, you must fix them. If you have worked hard on your writing, this should not happen. Should it happen however, the admins will give you three chances to fix whatever we think is wrong. After the third time, your character will be denied.
four. Acceptance. Once you are accepted, you are allowed to start RPing. Make sure to claim your portrayal, or it will not be safe. If someone wants your portrayal and you haven't claimed it, you'll lose it and they'll get it as a punishment for breaking this rule.
five. Monthly events. At the end of each month we will decide on:
the female character of the month
the male character of the month
an event (eg. rally, rebellion etc.)
three new canons for each group
six. Characters. Currently, we are accepting both canons and originals. We would like to keep a reasonable canon/original ratio, as well as a reasonable gender ratio. If your first character is a canon, your second character must be an original. If your first character is male, your second character must be female. Your third character can be whatever. We have a rather large selection of canons, and we will add some from time to time, so this should not be too much of a problem.
FOR GENERAL USE.
---
one. Staff. The staff has worked very hard to get the site up and running like it is today. We are open to advice and comments, just no bashing please. We are generally reasonable people, but we are human beings. The staff don't mind questions, at all. What we do mind is being harassed or told what to do.
two. Arguments. No arguments, at all. If you have a
legitimate problem with another member, PM me. Don't call bashing someone "being honest" because that doesn't work.
three. Cbox. Don't be rude in the c-box or swear there. If the admins catch a fight happening the cbox, we will get rid of the cbox until the members have calmed down.
four. Rating. This is a teen rated site. Some violence and swearing is allowed, but please keep it reasonable.
five. Activity. We would like you to be considerably active, as in come on at least two or three times a week to check your posts, etcetera. Preferably more, because it's just plain annoying to RP with someone who is inactive. If you are having an extremely busy week, or are leaving for whatever reason, post a warning in the OOC board.
six. Writing. No godmodding and no chatspeak in character. Write properly as one would speak or describe. Please, please, PLEASE use proper spelling and grammar. There is this amazing invention called
spell check. Use it. If any of the admins see bad spelling or grammar, we will PM you, send links to the post, and tell you to edit it. You were taught proper English for a reason.
seven. Post length. This is an intermediate site, so each post should be around fifteen sentences. We understand that sometimes writer's block happens, but if you are consistently posting one sentence posts, be prepared to get a message from Alex or Abby.
No posts less than three sentences are allowed.
eight. Character limit. You can only have
three characters.
nine. Character creation. You can create a second character whenever you want, but you have to have at least
100 posts on your first account before even thinking about attempting a third character.
ten. Multiple threads. You can be in more than one thread at a time.
eleven. Graphics. You must have an avatar that is 100x100, no smaller no bigger. Signatures can be any size, but please don't make them gigantic, so you stretch the page. The proof of rules is
"i'd wait for eternity".written by gavin, modified by alex.
