welcome to the black parade.

Welcome to __reachOUT, a fall back production. Please register with a first and last name with proper capitalization. A middle name would be preffered, but is not mandatory. There are canons open, but we are also accepting originals.
In __reachOUT, the Salvators have taken over the government of the United States. Spreading feelings of fear and oppression throughout the country, they are limiting everything from food to the internet. In a world where society is strictly divided in two, and where everything is traced, how will you survive?

We have just opened!! Feel free to create a canon or original character!! Any question? Contact either of the admins and they will be happy to help.

voices of tomorrow; suggestions This forum is where you can tell us how to improve the board, or where we can help you out with your dilemma. Drop the staff a message, a comment, question, suggestion, whatever, just no flames please. We all make mistakes. Keep in mind that just because you have posted a suggestion does not mean that the admins will carry it out. Sure, you suggested it, but the admins get the final say in whether or not we will include it into the board.

the talk of the town; character creation Here you will find all information relating to character creation. The application, which must be filled out completely to become a member of this site, is found here, as well as the face claim and canon list. Post your application here, not anywhere else, and an admin will review it and, hopefully, accept it.

i will dare; thread requests Lookin' for some threading? Post a request here, and someone is bound to take up on it. Also, if you desperatly need someone to play your character's sibling or friend, post here as well. This just keeps the cbox and chat section clean of all requesting and isolates it into one forum.

beating hearts baby; relationship plots This is where you post your character's relationship plot. It is not required, but recommended, as it helps the members keep track of who is friends with who. These are helpful for making and breaking down relationships, as well as creating small sub-plots between characters. If you are unsure of how to make a relationship plot, check out the pinned ones.

school Here the entire population of children ages 4 to 19 go to school. Since this town is so small, the elementary and middle schools are integrated. The only high school is up on a hill a little ways from the elementary and middle school.

church A small community like this is united by their church, and the pastor who always seems to be inside. The pastor always has an ear open for your problem, so don't hesitate to go inside.

library Most of the kids of the town come here to spend their days. This is one of the only buildings in the town with air conditioning and heat, as well as free internet access. There is an amazing amount of books here, considering the population and size of the town.

restaurants and diners Tired of eating your own cooking at home? Are you just too lazy to do the dishes tonight? Head to the restaurants and diners lined up on both sides of the streets. There is a lot to choose from, and the food is great, considering the restaurants are family run.

houses There's no place like home. Most of the houses in this town are relatively small, and don't have much of a front or back yard. A lot of people spend more time at their friend's houses than their actual house, but family is extremely important, so make sure you get home at night.

the arts center The arts center, true to it's name, is for the arts. That's why it has a huge theater used by the community theater, dance studios for the town's dance lessons, art studios, and show rooms. It's a generally nice building, with a large ballroom space often used for the community dances and parties.

the gas station Despite being merely a gas station, the gas station is a fantastic place to buy snacks or just hang out. With a relatively large parking lot right next to it, you can drive up your car and sit on top of it, watching all the people you know and love get gas. Feel free to talk to the staff, as they are always willing to help or lend you a deck of cards.

school district In sharp contrast to the small town, this uptown city has many schools. The elementary schools are grouped together in one section, the middle schools in another, and the high schools in the third and last section. The college is on the very outskirts of the school districts, about two miles away from the nearest schools.

downtown The downtown area is the most busy area of the city. There are shoppers carrying way too many bags for their own health, and business men and women on their lunch break looking to talk a walk out in the fresh air and grab a bite to eat at one of the numerous small cafes and higher scale restaurants.

the apartment buildings There are not many houses in the city. Most of them are on the outskirts, and they aren't small either. Most of the city dwellers prefer to live in apartments, some nicer than others. Although a lot of people argue that houses are more homey than apartments, hey, it's home, right? So forget about little houses, apartments are definitely the way to go.

the white house Upon taking over the United States, the first thing the Government did was take over the White House. Before, people were free to roam about in front of the gates, and peer through the wrought iron to gaze at the vast white building and its lawn. Today, the Government has lined up security guards in front of the gates, and it is impossible to get too close. Here, in the White House, is where the head honcho of the Government lives and does his work.

the pentagon The White House is one of the most important buildings the Government took over, but it definitely is nothing against the Pentagon. Here is where all the meetings go on, where the press conferences are held, and where the army generals converse about how to put down revolts.

nsb headquarters The NSB (National Security Branch) is a branch of the FBI. When the Government took over, they replaced all of the agents in this branch with their own agents, and closed down all other branches of the FBI. As a result, this is the only branch of the FBI left. The former headquarters and training centers of the NSB were closed down as well. The current location of this headquarters is unknown by all but the agents working here.

world trade center The World Trade Center has long since been rebuilt. The huge double skyscrapers are now used not for business but for government plotting and scheming. With more technology and advancements, another attack on the World Trade Center seems unlikely.
