there's a new family in town, and it's the atwoods. despite the upbringing that they've had, to say that this family stirs up trouble is a complete understatement. this house isn't unlike the other mcmansions in the area, and definitely shows that it houses boys.

it's hard to keep up with the coopers, especially because julie does such a great job of being ahead of the curve. next to the cohen mcmansion, the coopers have everything of luxury, and it is all thanks to jimmy's job at the newport group and the salary that caleb nichol pays him. remember, no expense spared.

this place? it's huge. then again, that can be said about every single house that is a mcmansion in newport beach, but this is the truth. even if neil did leave his wife and daughter for another woman, he has managed to keep on taking care of them, letting them live in his house and even paying for them. it's big, it's pretty, it's what summer loves.

the mecca of popularity, taylor townsend's home is always used for parties of the crazy sort. or, if veronica has taken over, newpsie functions are the main attraction of this mcmansion. be careful though, you never know when you could misstep.

shhh! be quiet, people are learning! of course, if you're not here to learn, then you might be headed towards detention, or just trying to skip class without getting caught. beware, don't try the fire exits. they get stuck a lot, and also have the annoying tendency to set alarms off.

after signing up for the new school year, you should get your assigned locker. make sure you keep it clean, or else it could overflow. oh, and you can decorate it, a plus for most girls at temperance johnson to accessorize and show off.

read a fantastic book, or just go to the far end of the library for a hook up. the librarians aren't too strict here, but that's partially because they operate under the thought that the kids of harbour don't need to care about school

black and while malts, chocolate chip pancakes, and the traditional cheeseburger. you can get it at this quaint diner where the service is friendly--as long as you tip. a great place to meet your friends or to visit if you want to skip your lunch period.

don't forget your swimsuit or sunscreen. this is a popular spot for those who want to tan, swim, surf, or hang out. build a bonfire or look for a new fling. tourists flock here over the summers, but aside from that its perfectly calm... or as calm as things can be in newport.

shop till you drop... as literally or as figuratively as you please. you can find endless stores here, but most of them are designer and high-end clothing and gadgets, so make sure you bring your dad's credit card when you stop by.

crab cakes anyone? lobster? this restaraunt is known for its high quality sea food, served by cute waiters in blue shirts and white aprons. you must be 21 to sit at the bar, but everything else is suitable for the whole family.

walk along in the sun with a balboa bar or enjoy the view of the ocean at sunset. this is a great spot to sit with a date and people watch... but if you are looking for drugs, don't look to buy here--you might just run into a narc.

the mermaid inn is the epitome of sleazy. i wouldn't recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to or else you have a love affair you want to keep under wraps. doesn't cost much, and you get what you paid for. you know what you're getting into, don't complain when you run into roaches and mice.

a great place to hang out and listen to live bands. want to dance? want to listen to some rock but still be able to hear your friends? this place is perfect for you. you might need tickets to get in sometimes, but its well worth it.

in orange county, you're likely to get shot, get deep gashes, get into a serious drunken car crash, give birth, or go into a coma sooner or later. when you do, we're here for you. friends can see you during visiting hours, and please, be courteous to those healing and be quiet when you visit!

everyone knows that you can come here with your underage friends and drink--without a fake id. great spot for road trips and parties, but it is easy to go overboard over all the excitement. it can be seedy here, so keep an eye on your friends. aside from that, what happens in tj stays in tj.

if you are looking to buy a second home, definitely build it here, especially if you are into golf. there may be a lot of retired people, but that means that you and your friends can visit and gold in peace. sometimes you just have to get away from the newport bubble.
