She could hardly remember agreeing to this, or perhaps she had even offered up suggestions to the ludicrous plan. It didn’t matter now, she was here…moving along the streets like a cat who was rapidly losing all her lives. “Be careful Ashire.” Airea nuzzled her face, scales like a reminder of silk sheets and cozy fires. Then he was gone three of him propelling into he air, fire raining down within everything pth he could attempt. His body still small perhaps the size of a horse and a half, enough to cary Kai with ease. That was all he needed, no brute strength just speed. She was given the chaos she needed to blend into the crowd, vanishing into the earth now and then. This was a stupid plan and a horrid idea to say the least, but it was the only hope they had. When she reached the building she wasted no time, body sliding down into the catacombs spitting her into darkness. Thanking the heavens a little trick of her magic let her see just fine, after all she was the thick smog of black more then she wanted to admit.

Her fingertips shook thinking about what could be happening to everyone at that moment. All the things that could go wrong were near devastating. She wanted to scream for Xan, and pray for an answer, maybe he would just sense her. Even now she could faintly feel him, her hand begging for the warmth of his. Or maybe that was just her…and not some super-natural way of finding him. Instead she crept along, blind hands now and then brushing her legs or arms. Silent screams, then the actual onslaught of the true ones. What was this place!?

Hours it had to have been, and Reacta was just now starting to stir, but only the tip of her tail managed to twitch now and then. The darkness was a comfort at first, he didn’t want to see his surroundings. Now all it did was push him closer to the edge, hating the soft swish of Reacta’s folly of breathing. It had been his fault and he was truly realizing that now, otherwise he’d be one of the people trying to save the others. No he had to be right, had to be the better one-his dragon hardly knew what was right. Then again it could have been the solitude that made him think in such a way. No Tandri and that sparkling smile, haunting beauty of her eyes. No Reacta yelling at him, just him, himself and well…you got the point. Every now and then he heard a scream, or a cry of pain-even a laugh or two.

This was all just some stupid dream and he hardly wanted to be save, most of all by the girl he was trying to impress. No that wouldn’t do, he hoisted his body up, not as worse for wear as the others seemed to be. Yet all it gave him was a few inches to step one way, then the other. Hardly giving him any way out, hell he didn’t know which way would be out! So he was suck waiting like a damsel in distress, his ego hurt but the idea of being stuck here over-riding that.

Tabion had been talking the entire time, as if she wasn’t already in pain. “He’ll sho up of course, I hardly doubt he’d leave you here. My he’ll get here right on time before anything happens and-“ silence, she was so gateful for it she didn’t worry. Until Tabion was yelling, but in her ehad and not outloud. “Don’t let them touch you, move do something Melly! Move run SOMETHING” what was he going on about? She was aware they’d moved him somewhere, and she was alone..it was quiet. Her body still hurt, mind screaming for a good rest. The quiet offered such a thing but someone was tugging her to her feet, dark. Not so quiet, things started moving, she was being led somewhere.

None of that sounded like it’d be a good idea, to move anywhere then how would she sleep? A sharp pain in her neck, a needle she knew that much. Blood tests? Some drug or other, did it really mattered? This place was eating away at her nerves and that alone brought hatred into her idealistic mind set. Why did they have to touch her, and why was she so damn cold? Lights flashed and it nearly blinded her, she was in a lit room white. Her body frigid, but that would account for the metal operating table she was now host to. Tabion’s voice dimming and the room got warm and fuzzy. Must have been a drug.

“Come on Calder,” Tandri urged her Dragon as she vanished underneath the ground into the pipes and drain system that rested underneath the city Kala condemned. They were free to run as quickly as they wished, moving under the ground until Tandri knew they were right above the catacombs, which went far deeper than the drains. She had a small amount of goodies with her to spring them from a tight fix. Even an ordinary person could use magic in the right form. “Alright Calder, Melt the iron, we’re right above the main center of the dungeons, people will be stampeding left and right to get into the drain system – all the chaos we need,” she was overly pleased with herself as Calder slowly melted a large square into the floor of the drain pipe and pushed it out, they slithered into the darkness, and walked away from the mad scramble that had already begun.

He felt tingles of anxiety spread from the tip of his toes to the top of his head as Cain walked a narrow path while Airea brought down destruction and chaos into an already fallen city. Callista perched softly on his shoulder, giving him all the reassurance he could ask for as they slipped into the dark abyss. Once inside he quickly wished for the sight of light – underground was no place for an elf and Cain was already straightening his back and forcing himself to walk forward – for Melya’s sake. He couldn’t leave her here, not in this place.

If his copy cat could do it, Xan couldn’t see why he also couldn’t cause an explosion in his choice area. “Are you with me Rosalind?” he silently asked, and felt the warmth and pride from his dragonet spread to him. “Always,” she proclaimed – giving Xanithel the much needed courage to begin a very poorly thought out plan, it had a beginning and from there he was playing it by ear. Perhaps that was the very best of plans, it gave him room to be spontaneous and it was easy to remember. He felt out the power of his magic, it was burning brightly and at the tips of his fingers instantly, as if it had just been waiting, lurking in him to be called forth for. He had it in the palm of his hands, and sent it sprawling in every direction possible.

A yelp was given as she dodged the magic jutting from seemingly nowhere, "What the hll!" her voice picked up an octave as she pressed flat against a wall the magic rebounding off the wall here and there. Magic. Had to mea at least one of the riders were here..or perhaps one of the inmates either way she liked the light it casted off. Screams started up as soon as the magic would pass by a cell here or there. She stupidly went towards the source, "Xan!" her voice once more hit a panic, she was fumbling against walls, tripping here and there. Not from the inability to see, oh she could see everything in pitch black. No, fear of being alone here no Airea to help. No Xan. Just her. She could almost sense Airea roll her eyes at her, laughing and mocking. come on no Ashire his voice chastised but comforted all the same. Onward, had to keep going forward and eventually she could get out of this place, her skin crawling with the thought. Bodies shoving past her, fingernails hitting her skin. This was hell, she was pretty sure of it.

Spinning. At least she half guessed she was, as if someone had set the table into flight, twisting patterns of the wall around. They were all looking at her, masked mouths, tinted laughter until screams were heard. They seemed paniced. All she felt was tired, loopy even. Going to move her hand the table braxes kept it there, damn that was no fun. Even her thoughts all lagged behind movement, the thought of breathing. Breath would come ten seconds after it. Tabion fogged gher mind with urges to stay aake, that falling asleep couldn't be any good for her. "Tabion relax-" her words slurred and doctors were running away. the room flooding with prisoners then nothing no one. She was cold again.

She was awake, that was good enough for now but she was nowhere near him. "Reacta!" how had such chaos erupted in so short a moment? When the place had been sent into this scream fest Reacta had been knocked out of his arms. He'd felt her be trampled then skitted off finally awake by the pain it caused. She had little magic or strengthto do anything but move around. It was far too dark to find her, just now and then he'd spot a flash of green, beautiful emerald green scales, small as a cat. Then nothing, and bodies filled the empty space. "Reacta!" t was a wasted effort, she was more paing attention to not being killed.

“Be a dear Calder and make a few more openings, people are going to trample each other trying to escape through that one tiny drain pipe,” she’d hate for that to happen, it would be far easier to find the others if less people were in here. “Oh, and if you run into trouble,” she tossed him a few goodies and winked, “Use them as a last choice though – they aren’t easy to make nor quick to make,” real potion making and brewing could take years, it wasn’t just throwing newts of eye and salamander tails in a cauldron. Tandri proceeded to fight against the crowds, struggling to go the opposite way as everyone else while using the directions the very dependable Lyra has given her. Within three minutes she had wounded her way through all the right passages and was watching a very distraught thief. “Fox,” her voice was a mix of relief, gratitude and kindness as she grabbed a hold of his upper arm and swung him around to face her. “Are you alright?”

Xan fought against the crowds as he searched for Rosalind, “NOW ROSALIND,” he called for her and watched as the little song bird suddenly burst into her full length dragon form – the room emptied quickly and not even the guards stayed around – they too were being swallowed up by the chaos. “Let’s get out of here,” he had no clue where the other riders or dragons were, wasn’t even sure if they could find them in this underground mess. “Xan, it is Kai!” Rosalind pointed out, as she crouched to his side and watched the woman nearly stumble in the dark – a very unfitting sight for a woman who controlled shadows. He let go a sigh of relief and marched up towards her, “And here I was worried about your rescuing abilities, though I think we managed quite well on our own, didn’t we Rosalind?” he looked up fondly at his dragon who hummed softly and nodded, “Back up is always appreciated though.”

“All bloody well Tandri,” he hissed as he forced his way through the mob of prisoners who were fighting with teeth and nail to get to the exists she had had Calder create – along with the distraction Airea was putting up Kala had her hands full along with the guards. “All fine and well except now we can’t bloody find anyone,” he continued to hiss, Callista rested patiently on his shoulder. “Calm down, if anything this will give the riders and dragons an exit,” she was still a bit heated at Melya. Cain noticed how she worked her way around saying Melya – since that was who he was concerned about. He’d let Kai work her way to Xan and Tandri to Fox. He had one goal in mind and that was getting his wife out of here. “We’re all in this together Xan, we can’t be so narrow focused,” Callista lectured on his shoulder. He easily blocked her out – when it came to Melya that was where he focus was on.

He almost hit her, fought to knock whatever could have a hold on his arm Reacta out of siht again. His heart in his throat as he spun facing Tandri with a groan, tugging her close into a hug. The warmth of her body melted some of the fear he was trying to cover up. 'React she took a strong hit. She just barely was waking up when everything turned into hell. I can't find her and I know she can't shift into anything bigger." he shook his head eyes casting around the room the stream of people falling to a few scattered groups here and there. "I tried to get her to move another way in the sky and didn't see the person was about to hit us. She listened, and took the magic at the same time. Just to let me have my way." his shoulders slumped slightly. "And now I can't find her, I can't even hear her but a few words, crackling in and out." He had to get her out and apologize or do something anything.

The small emerald scales dimmed in color as the kitten sized dragonete scamped this way or that. Wing hanging as if a hinge were broken, tail bent in a few diffrent directions. She was trying to get to Fox but the magic she'd been hit with slowed her thinking process. So she'd only manage one or two words before trying to dodge a person or just think at all. Shed managed to get out of the room, and now she had no idea where she was. Great, she'd otten herself lost.

Kai uttered a soft laugh standing up now, fingertips still shaking, 'You wouldn't beleive the things I can hear down hear Xanithel." the shadows screamed of the horrors of the starts, the ends and even when theriders were brought. "I can't even think without something brsting in." she shook her head glancing at the two. "My, I doubt I was needed at all." she frowned slightly but only shook her head. "Tandri's opened up a few exits to go down and then up further." at least she knew the way there. The relief of them both being ok was enough to lift the frown, she could be happy for that. 'Airea's bein a distraction, I don't know how long he can pull it off..so the sooner the better." her hand found Xans a comfort lacing up her arm, "No lights though." she could do this, no fear, she could see just fine so there wasn't a need to worry.

"Cain!" Tabion nearly jumped for joy at seeing the two a grin settling on his lips, "I knew you'd all figure things out. Melya will owe me money that's for sure." his eyes darkned then and the dragon slowed his joy for a second. "You did work with everyone right, not just show up?" his head cocking to the side. Aware that Melya was starting to wake up and no one was near here at the moment. That was enough to relax, if he had hope it was hard to worry.

She found herself awake and someone was carrying her bridal style in a slow walk, she had the notion to be afraid. The notion never made it to the actual feelin, the footsteps lullin in a way. 'Ah very good you're awake." it wa a man she could tell that, younger but the dpth in his voice said he'd seen more then his years should. then again who hadn't these days? "Tab-Ca-ugh." her head hurt just thinking or eveyn managing to talk. She recive a chuckle for her efforts, 'It's alright i'm looking for them. of course im just wandeirng down passages so alittle help from you..?" he gave a cough and she had a guess he was sick. "Oh right, my apolgizes." she was becoming embaressed which was waking her up. Tabion? the responce given gave her another heacache as an eager voice sang into her mind. 'They're not far just keep goin forward." it was pitch black still, how on earth did he kno where he was going?

“Wait, Fox –“she nearly took a blow when he swung at her, his fist coming inches away from her face. “God damn it, I said your name first, calm down. Now is defiantly not the time to lose your head,” she scolded him a bit when he went off, barely connecting one sentence to another. “Everything will turn out fine, we’ll find her – Calder is looking for her now. You need to relax; this isn’t the place to lose it. I need you to be able to remain logical and rational – can you handle that?” logical, rational – something Tandri was always good at. She had hidden her fear for so long; masking it was an art form.

His eyes were solemn as he reached around to pick up the weak dragonet. “Always getting yourself into trouble I see,” he wrapped her softly in his arms, taking an extreme measure of care with the broken creature. “Let’s see what I have here,” he popped out the mystified little potions Tandri had given him earlier and extracted the soft violet colored one. A few drops in her mouth and she’d be good as new. “Open wide,” he cheerfully smirked, and squirted a few drops, “It doesn’t taste well, but it will do the job.”

He probably couldn’t, “No, but I bet I can drown them out,” he stated quite arrogantly and wrapped a strong arm around her waist, lowering her so she was bending down and it was only his arm keeping her up, his lips moved romantically and efficiently over her lips – to show her how much he missed her and to block out all the sounds she was probably hearing. He hoped the kiss was making her ears ring, just like they were making his ring. “All better?” He asked with a cocky grin before pulling her back up and at his side. “Fantastic, I’m quite proud of you three…uhm, where is everyone else on that matter? I’m starting to see the dragons point with the lack of unity and all that. We really shouldn’t leave until we make sure everyone else is out,” that was Xan for you, making sure all the players were safe.

“Of course we worked together, long enough to not kill each other….what does a dragon need money for in any case?” Cain raised an eye brow and snorted, though he seemed pleased enough that Tabion was here. “Now where’s Melya? Why aren’t you with her?”

“All fascinating questions Cain…I think I’ll go see how Airea is doing with those distractions,” she distinctly heard him grunt and go ‘mhmm, right…check up on the…distractions.’ Which caused her to frown deeply before heading out the same way the had come in. “Anyways,” Cain mumbled, frowning slightly as he looked around in the darkness. He could see fairly well though, “We need to find her and get out…quickly.”

He sighed, "Sorry." an uttered word that hefted thin in meaning behind it, sorry for failing his dragonette sorry for almost hitting Tandri. He was sorry for alot of things. "I don't think right in these types of places." or he realized for the first time, without reacta's hot headed comments to keep him grounded. "Lets just find everyone and get togeather get outta here." he shrugged a gentle calm touching him as he smirked. Reacta curing the taste in her mouth, at least she was feeling better. "I do think he found here and her egos been shot somewhat." he held a wry smile the spilt moment of actual emotion an fear now gone from his face. Same old grounded Fox, at your service.

"God awful that is!" Reacta had the urge to spit it back up, do something besides actually swallow it. She gave a cough but felt her wing and tail repair themselves, her eyes adjusting to the light sceme of the room at once. "Powerful though." she trembled in his arms still much to her annoyance. "Thank you." see she was improving her manners at the very least of everything. "I do think I can walk now however." she whispered lad for the scales hiding the tinge of color that would have touched her cheeks in human form.

Her head spun and the room semed to shift for a few moments, nerves dancing under the heat that rushed down her throat. "what were you asking me again?" she blinked her thought process jammed as other ideas tainted the soft pale of her cheeks. 'Erm, right everyone else." she gave a cough as if, of course she knew he'd asked that. "Warn a girl before doing that." she smiled somewhat once more takin his hand and leading them around. Counting lefts an rights to where andri shold have been making the exit holes. She was elated he was ok, a fear that had about killed her was managing to lesson with the warmth his hand could spread into her entire being. 'Ah, ta-da" she nodded towards the darkness where Tandri and Fox's voice carried. "Light if you would." she would never be able to make light, the room darker yes but light...

"OH! Right about that she got taken away, omething about tests and all that." he frowned laughing somewhat at Cain's question. "Just to win silly, the money hardly matters." he shook his head, though turning to the sound of footsteps, "That should be them now-AH MELLY!" he nearly jumped out of his skin. She looked more like a ghost then herself her cheeks a bright red however at being carried by a stranger. Whatever she'd been injected with had created a color tint to her veins making a few more visable, however it was recedding slowly.

Before she could speak the man smiled, warm brown eyes and brown shaggy hair that covered his gaze slightly. "Good to se real people." he was built like an ox, his voice gruff but warm. He couldn't be more then 25 if that, the scruff on his face not trimmed, as his hair was slightly matted. He'd been here a long time, "I do think these are the people you wanted Ms. Wolfe?" his tone was far more polite then any person you could meet, Melya nodding as he kept an easy hold on her. As if he wasn't even holding a person at all, "Didn't want her tripping all over the place way she was stagering when I found her. Melya's face turned a darker shade of red when he let her down, 'I wouldn't say staggering." she kept her gaze low trying to fix her outfit best she could. When she lifted her face her eyes caught Cain's and her heart melted all over again, 'Hi." she gave a lihthearted wave of her hand.

He was beond tired of bein shot at, or yelled at by now. He skimmed into an alley two copy cats blinking out now and again when he couldn't keep his magic up at all. "Damn well need to hurry up." a groan released as his copy took another hit. It all hurt the same too him.

“Well, not a lot of people can,” just because she was used to these types of environments, didn’t mean everyone was. “It’s quite alright, we need to find everyone and get out,” she smiled briefly and gave him a tender kiss, “I’m glad your alright,” she whispered before taking his hand and tugging him along when she saw Calder and Reacta.

Calder grinned ruggedly and set her down, to walk on her own to feet. “She’ll like that, the word powerful – “ his rider used to be very powerful, he knew how weak she felt without magic, just as he felt a bit weaker without the magic as well. Patience though, he’d wait out this weak stage and they’d be far more powerful than could be expected when the time came.

“But warning you defeats the point,” Xan pointed out as he tugged her along to meet up with the others. “Great, so everyone but Cain and Melya is here. We probably ought to find them…” he muttered, Melya was a sweet enough girl it would be unfair to leave her behind. Rosalind scowled at his thoughts, “We will find both of them before leaving – riders should stick together.”

“Give her to me,” Cain growled, he wrapped a strong arm around Melya and picked her up so she wasn’t standing on her own anymore. “What the hell did they do to you?” He cursed, looking at the irritated skin from the puncture. It made his own skin crawl at the unknown mystery on what his wife had gone through while he had been bickering. “Who are you?” he demanded, looking back up at the man.

Callista roamed her way across the village, disappearing into the clouds and in the sun to blind anyone who attempted to shoot at her. She managed skillfully to find her way into the ally with Airea, “I thought you could use some aid – they’re almost done, you could probably retreat back to the keep…..you look awful.”

He smiled at the kiss glad for it, stupid for not doing so first “You’re ok” he tugged Reacta into a hug when she shifted so she wouldn’t take up as much space. “Yes fine, pleas air Fox.” He released the women with a large grin. “Good you’re pissed, yay.” When she rolled her eyes he was over-joyed to have her back. “Mh k so lets go find them then.” He turned towards Xan lifting an eyebrow for a moment at what Rosalind said wondering what Xan must have thought for it to be spoken. “Tandri Reacta seems to find your potion extremely potent and powerful by the way.” Catching from Reacta exactly what he should say about it.

She wished he wouldn’t smile like that at her, stomach being placed into a knot only to be hugged by Fox next. “The sooner we’re out of here the better.” Reacta sighed, she didn’t like feeling weak that was for sure. This place did that and throw her off balance, once she was outside. She wouldn’t give a damn that Calder had carried her or, smiled so wonderfully. Nor would she be begging for the feeling Fox got when he had kissed Tandri. No when she got out of here, she’d be all normal again of course.

Her eyes danced, becoming extremely used to the darkness and secretly wanting to stay if Airea wasn’t in so much trouble. She could hear the moans of the darkness and listen to every tale they had to tel, begged to tell. A secret warmth touched her, that such stories would not be forgotten anymore…at least she’d carry them on. “There’s a quicker way out once we find them. They’re.” she closed her eyes and felt the room shift under her..screams cries, warmth laughter. “Almost here.” She opened them head tilted to the side as if still listening to whatever no one else could hear. You always could manage to creep me out with that Airea’s voice chuckled into her mind, he was happy, Callista must be near him. No…yes..hush child she smiled at his response.

“I actually don’t know..” a comfort stopped her from shaking when she was in Cain’s arms, the man still holding a smile evn with Cain’s tone of voice. “It’s another silver mix to see if they can sped or slow your change is all.” Melya’s mouth opened then closed. He raised his hands, “I see things when I touch people, my apologies normally I have loves but they took them away when I was first brought here. A way to go insane listening to the stories of this place from the floors and walls.” That idea disturbed Melya and she couldn’t help but wonder what else he might have seen.

“I am Gorvan at your service. Once second man to Kala’s General.” He did a fake salut before laughter bubbled forth when Tabion poked him in the arm. “So why are you here…?” the clear blue of Tabions eyes were pure innocence. “Well I did enough to piss her off.” He tapped tabions head before watching Cain. “It should wear of within a couple of hours… I would suggest caution with him. Any direct content besides touching her it’d be a bit more deadly to you then her.” A frown on melya’s lips and he was smiling again. “Just a warning is all.”

“Why thanks I worked so hard on this look too.” He gruffed forward standing to brush off the ash and soot that was covering him at the moment. “You look far better, but I guess you haven’t been getting you know..shot at for two hours straight and all.” An eyeroll fit his face with perfection. “Is everyone alright though..” he added more so to try his best at being polite and caring for the lives o others then anything else.

Tandri beamed at the compliment, “I do try, if I can’t cast a silly spell – I might as well be a damn good potions mistress,” and that was another art she had mastered, any type of magic that could come from objects other than herself was something she had long ago learned. “Calder darling, you didn’t use much did you? Those take years to make properly,” she muttered, but was over all pleased with what he had left. Calder sent a wink over to Reacta before settling onto Tandri’s shoulder as a hawk. “Can we be going then?” he asked in quite the monotone voice.

Xan was all for leaving; he was already looking for a way out of the forsaken place, especially when he saw two shadows up ahead. “OI, let’s get out of here then,” with the new found warmth of magic, a small glow of light appeared in his hand – something he was quite proud to control as it happily drifted above his head and they could easily then see the way out.

Cain glanced back from Melya to Tabion and then to the stranger, “Oh and I suppose he’s coming with?” This wasn’t exactly the time to argue about it, they had picked up the pace to be walking closer to the other four – who all looked rather impatient to be leaving. The place was starting to cause shivers to run up Cain’s spine – the idea of fresh air was intoxicating.

“And you pull it off so well,” she smirked, patting his cheek lightly before stretching her human arms and smiling a bit. It had been awhile since she had allowed herself to change into this form –too many human emotions to deal with. “They are all together, and are finally working together and escaping….another man is also with them.”

Reacta's smile was warmer then she had wanted it to be as she moved to stand beside Fox. Obviously they were speaking to each other, she'd touch his arm now and then as if to get a point across. When he laughed she just shook her hea, shiftin her gaze to the oncoming people. "Damn good, more like the goddess of potions, not a bruise on her i'd say." Fox aded with little effort because it was the truth. "Down boy." he glanced at Xan a large grin plastered on his face. "Took you long enough!" he called forward.

Her eyes found the glow Xan gave off and a light smile touched her lips wonderin if her magic would cover it or shy away from it. She tested her theroy while he was fixed onto the oncoming people. She hid the laugh as the darkness spun around the light as if dancing for attention from it. Within seconds it smoothed back into her bein and she was doing her best to pay attention to veyone. However crowded it was starting to get in her hea now.

"Of course i'm coming." he gave a hard pat on Cain's back careful not to toch any skin as he did so. "Ah hello everyone, I'm Gorvan." he gave a deep bow eyes shining from either insanit for still being able to act normally. Or just a genuine glee to see real people once more. "I say we head out of here and then we can chat some about a few insider trades that might help you." Melya was pretty sure she was oin to throw up. Tabion now a small rat tucked into her arms while she was carried. he kept telling her to take deep breaths but the smell of death clutched her nostrails and burned he stomach more. She instead stopped breathing glad enough she could do so far longer then any human.

"For now anyways." he shook his hea following suit to stad and lead her through a few alleyways he'd come to know. Having to touch the wall now and then for direction, "Then they'll stop until anothe tragedy hits. Maybe if we kept them in constant terror that they'd lose the person they 'loved' we'd get somewhere." his words held a tinge of bitterness. "Otherwise they won't learn, I highly doubt. Why did they all work together? To save one person first, which is who they went for first. Correct?"

“Well come on all ready,” Tandri’s voice was muffled as she headed up the ladder and into the drain pipe, “And I don’t know what your after Fox – but flattery won’t work on me,” compliments seemed to bounce off Tandri, she wasn’t one to be swooned with a few sweet words. “Hurry up Calder,” she seemed to whine as she continued to walk through the drain and her dragon was forced to catch up. “I need to see the damn sky again.”

“I can agree with that,” Xan replied easily enough as he happily followed. Rosalind shared the same smile, “Oh the sun – oh flying, I feel so cramped, I need to stretch my wings,” she exclaimed, though was hardly complaining. It wasn’t in Rosalind’s nature. Xan could only grin at the light hearted smile she casted when they made their way out of the drain pipe and into the sun again. “We should hurry, before Kala shows up and we’re all worse from where we started.”

Cain seconded that as he scanned the skies for Callista, “What is keeping her?” he mumbled, “Ashire – call your dragon so mine will come back, although I can’t fathom why she’d want to stay around him,” someone who was so irritating as he usually found Airea. Oh but his dragonet couldn’t find a single fault…at least one worth complaining about for long periods of time. “He really has to come with us?” Cain complained, glaring back at the man. “How can we know to trust him?”

“…They all waited for each other to go, and it wasn’t as if they ran past one of the riders and ignored them to find their mate. It was as if they were attracted to the other person and instinctively knew where to go. You have a serious problem against love, I’m not completely sure why,” even she accepted it – though it was the cause of her riders…wolfish side now.

"It'll get me somewhere if I keep trying!" he called after her being second to last at leavin glancin at kai who seemed almost regretful to move. When she started walking he climbed upwards, giving a yawn when they hit sunlight. "Wel that was all too much fun for one day, I do think..." at Cain's comment he fell into a slight bit of laughter. 'He's got a point Airea's well.." he looked at kai, arms crossed and a dark gleam resting in her eyes. 'Not my cup of tea is all." he added palms up turning to face the newcomer who from what he guessed saved Melya and spoke so, he did save your wife right? I'd say you could thank him first"

Reacta breathed in air and found she hardly returned to 'normal' ah well it was but a sliht hope really. "Going, yes to the keep." she started walking slowly turnin when no one followed right away. 'Oh damn it all." she sighed, obviously everyone wanted to have a little pow wow first before they could really leave and she could be as ar away from Calder and his charmin smile as sh wanted.

It was becomin too comforting in the darkness, though standing alone without Airea put a twinge of guilt into her. She'd made him bait, how horrid of a rider did that make her? With Fox's glance back she knew she had to get going, though her feet shuffled slihtly when she hit sunlight her eyes closed. "Shit, someone turn down the sun." a soft muter but her eyes were openin as Cain spoke. A wide grin setting on her face after threatening glares were casted at Fox. "Because he's rather endearing when he wants to be, just doesn't realize it. He's like coal..takes alot of pressure to be a diamond." yet she did call out for Airea, she missed him gravely being the only rider without her scaled ride.

"Love has hurt my rider, there in fact it has hurt me. I'm not one for a weakness and love would be such a thing. No matter how strong it might attempt to make you. Falsely of course." as the group neared into sight he stopped putting an arm out to catch Callista before she continued onward, "Now see, even the other dragons are all frenzied into emotions that stop them from thinking about anything other then escaping them." he growled lowly before movin onward hands tucke in his pockets when Kai caught sight of him and ran towards him. He opened his arms to catch her, that was a love he didn't mind. Hugs from his rider could soften the chill his heart had mastered. "You're ok right?" he laugehd as she checked for wounds and shook his head. "Peachy."

“Cain doesn’t want him around….Hi, I’m Tandri – It’s wonderful to meet you, feel free to stay as long as you like,” she turned toward Calder and gave a sicken sweet smile, “I like him already, besides what information he has could actually be useful, you know what that is, right Cain? Useful, purposeful, functional, practical, constructive, valuable, positive, handy…”

“Make it mute,” Cain grumbled, “Could you at least control her?” he snapped at Fox, before tightening his grip on Melya, “We need to get you in bed, rested and past whatever they gave you…this mindless chatter isn’t helping, I’m sure,” his lips tightened, the entire experience had made him consider how he’d go on with loosing Melya again – he didn’t really mean to take his temper out on others, although Tandri made it far too easy.

Rosalind was the only one to smile, “I think it will be wonderful when Callista get’s past his defensive shell and warms up his heart a bit. I’m sure Kai wants him to have what Xanithel gives her,” she patted Xan’s arm and went on smiling, Xan in turned smiled back. “See, now there is the optimistic view that I love seeing,” he chirped, “And I think all of us, our new friend included, should get moving,”

Oh, well bad experiences were enough to teach a person – not to be burned twice by the same flame. “I’m sorry, that you’ve been pained by the experience, it doesn’t always have to end up bad though – “ he seemed so content to march onward and not listen to her that Callista felt a tad bit foolish, as if she was speaking to thin air.

"Nothing is going to control her" Fox managed a smirk as he started folowing Reacta when she shifted and grazed into the sky Fox easily getting on at the perfect moment. He felt the air and sighed, perfection that could so easily be destroyed. "Come now Reacta stop getting all flustered it hardly works for you." he whispered the privacy of the air blasting through and around them. "I am not flustered mind you, i am perfectly." "Normal?" "Yes-" "being flustered is normal" he laughed as she fell into a fussed silence landing at the keep with somewhat of impatience. "They all move so slowl." she shifted and gloriously not a bruise touched the goddess like figure she held. 'You'll blind someone someday Reacta." "Yeah, someday." Fox winced at his poor choice of words but didn't further the subject incase anyone arrived as soon as he opened his mouth. It'd be his luck.

Kai gave rosalind a warm smile and a light tine of pink caressed the womens cheeks Airea raisin a brow as to whatever had been said to her. Though it took everythin in kai to hide it, it still spileld into her mind. Airea having to focus extremly hard to not react. 'Go apologize." kai whispered pushing Airea ho had met her in the middle when she'd ran towards him. 'For-?" what on earth could he have to apologize for? Yet he stalked back, Kai waiting patiently. "I can take you with me Gorvan." kai offered the man giving a warm smile, "I'd highly appreciate that thank you. All of you, for saving me and so on."

Airea manged to utter out an apology, "I don't mean to sound so crude to the thought of love. Just things I dont understand have a way to twist around in my mind." he muttered now walking beside her back to the group once more. 'I do understand what your saying though." he added shifting as Kai moved onto Airea, orvan moving to sit ehind her ever careful where his hands were. "This could be a bad idea." the man whispered, kai giving a polite but understandin smile. "Sorry." she watched as he winced, getting a glimpse of all she heard and realizing that it was the very same he'd lived with. When Airea kicked into the sky Gorvan focused on that instead of Kai'smemories or thoughts, it was all he could offer.

"I'll be fine really Cain, just tired is all. A good rest and ta-da i'll be old me." she murrmered wishing to kiss him for comfort but Tabion reminding her of Gorvan's warning. It was better not to risk anything. Tabion shited nosing Melya out of Cain's rms with somewhat of an apologetic look. "It'll be less awkard then trying to carry her and fly." Melya laughed somewhat arms holding onto Tabions neck when he took off though slower, offering Callista and Cain to follow beside him. Sure to remain thoughtfuly to Cain's...and Melya's worry.
