Starting Out
Registration -- Please register with your character's first and last name with a period at the end. No chat speak or odd names, here's an example:
NO; xilovepetrellibabiesx, Juni'Thar Plithius Omega-Delta, Claire Bennet
YES; maya herrera.
Also, remember to use the names we've provided. You can use a nickname, but register with the name we gave you, and that will always be their official name.
Respect -- You must treat all members with respect, and this includes the staff. If an argument should arise, please do not take it into your own hands, PM a staff member and let them deal with it.
Rating -- We are rated PG-13 to R or Mature. We will allow cursing as well as sexual references, anything truly graphic will be marked so that if you do not wish to see it, you do not have to.
Activity -- We try not to be too demanding when it comes to activity, but we don't want you to leave us hanging. Activity checks will be held often, however, you should be able to post at least twice a week. We prefer more, but any less and you will be warned.
OOC -- Do not post OOC things solely in the roleplay. If you need to mention something entirely OOC, PM the person. If you need to say something and are RPing there as well, just make a little OOC tag so we can distinguish it.
Chatpeak -- Chatspeak will get you warned. Even in OOC, we don't want to see it.
Characters
Applications -- Don't skimp us with this. We want quality applications that provide us with a good understanding of the character. Anything the staff does not feel is sufficient enough for the level of roleplay we strive for, will be rejected. We allow both canons and originals, but encourage canons.
Multiple Characters -- OKAY! This is now being changed. We are allowing you to have as many characters as you think you will be able to handle. Multiple characters are fine (just look at the sidebar and the staff characters). The only rule that we are going to have about multiple characters is try to make them as different from one another as possible.
Mary Sues -- Come on. Nobody likes a perfect character. We give you parents, a House, an age, and a name, otherwise, we give you freedom to mold the character into what you want. Don't take advantage of this. Perfection is not in existence, so don't make your characters fake in that way.
Images
Pictures -- No porn or any offensive material should be shown in your pictures. If it is, the admins will take it off. We won't even warn you, it will just be gone. Also, only use real people, please. We don't want any cartoons or anything of that nature.
Signatures and Avatars -- Signatures should be 500 x 200 or less. Avatars should be 150x150 or smaller. If you want to use icons for your signature, that's fine, but no more than six in your signature will be allowed.
Posting
Tense -- Roleplay in third person please. Thank you.

Moding -- I will be completely honest here. If you don't know what this is and why you shouldn't do it, turn back now.
Amount -- Two-four paragraphs is required at all times. Paragraphs are not two sentences. They are around 8-10. Don't skimp us on paragraphs, and don't have bad days. If you feel you can't post up to par, don't post.
Liquid Time -- Liquid time is being in multiple places at one time. We allow this, just don't make things happen at the same time.
Powers
Staff Selection -- Powers are going to be selected by the staff members. I know that this may sound like a pain, but hear us out. It's because we don't want to risk having too many people with too many powerful abilities, or too many duplicated powers. The show has just recently began to recycle powers, and we don't want eight million people running around with telekinesis. When posting a bio, just leave the power section blank. Don't try and leave hints as to what power you want, because that will just make us ignore it completely. The staff will pick out a power that suits your characters history and personality, if you so wish to have a power. Remember that not everyone has to have a power; humans are very encouraged in the game.
Abuse -- If we find that people are abusing the powers given to them by the staff, well we won't be happy. We'll first PM you a warning and ask you to edit the post. If you continue to have further incidents with abusing the power, you will get your warning level increased and possible suspension from the game. Further abuse of powers will lead to a full out banning of the player.
Time Travel
Past -- If your character has the power to travel back in time, then they are allowed to do so by posting topics in the past forum. Any character is allowed to reply to those topics, as long as it makes sense for them to be in that current place. You also must remember that it is in the past; if you were playing Claire, she'd have to be much younger than the Claire shown in the show. The past is also not the place to post "memory topics"; it is merely for the time traveler (who will act as they currently do) to interact with the past selfs of characters.
Future -- Again, if your character has the power to travel forth into the future, they are allowed to do so by posting topics in the future forum. Any character, again, is allowed to respond to those threads as long as it makes sense in the game. As with the past forums, your character must be older, more matured, and they need to follow suit with the current future environment which is full out chemical warfare and the extermination of the human species.
