Nobody likes rules not even the administration and staff that have to make them up. But there are certain expectations of members that all board admins have and rules keep things running smoothly. I promise these are pretty standard and not too grueling so please do look over them and give them a chance. Its the only way to get accepted around here, I'm afraid.


1. Registration & Applications


1.A: Account Names When you register for an account please do so with a first and last name only. I don't want to see middle names outside of applications they just create clutter in the online box, etc. And I do not ever want to see an OOC name. Things like hploverforeverxxx_1 are unnecessary and irrelevant.


1.B: Age It is the rule on invision that you be thirteen years or older to be on one of their forums and we are going to uphold this rule. It is not discriminatory in the least but I do not want to have to go through the trouble of drafting a permission form, etc just to role-play. So I am sorry but that is how it needs to be due to the mature situations and events on this board.


1.C: Template We provide a template for you to follow when you register on this board. Please do so without modification please. That could prohibit us from accepting you and nobody wants that.


1.D: Start Posting You can start posting in the IC (in character) forums as soon as your application is accepted. You may post OOC (out of character) as soon as you register. Please don't go further than OOC though if you are not an accepted player in the game yet.

1.E: Mutations Mutant powers and mutations do have limits which have been discussed in the past. When creating an application form, please add your characters weaknesses. No character is in full control of their powers, not even some of the best. This rule doesn't always count for Canon characters, if their weaknesses cannot be found online.

1.F: Canons I'm allowing a maximum of two Canon characters per member for now. In the near future I may allow more if activity doesn't pick up. There is no current limit for Original Characters, however. Any Canon character must post on a regular basis. If i see any whom aren't active for a number of days, you will be asked if you would prefer to put your character up for adoption.


2. General Rules

2.A: Respect & Flames Please do not argue or otherwise flame any member of this board, staff or not. Nobody is here to be your verbal punching bags. Respect the rules and the situations. If you don't like it I am terribly sorry but that is just how it needs to be. I howl at cheese is the secret phrase.


2.B: Discrimination If you discriminate against anyone based on race, religion, sex or anything else you will be banned no questions asked. We accept everyone here and we want members who can do that too. This is not a place for people to feel uncomfortable it is a place for everyone to feel comfortable and have fun.


2.C: Absences If you are going to be absent please post so in the proper thread. This thread can be found in the general discussion forum held within the OOC forums section. We will hold periodic activity checks that last a week. After that week all member accounts that are still inactive will be deleted. If you post that you are to be absent then you can avoid accidental deletion.


2.D: Godmodding & Mary Sues We don't want either. Period. Nobody is God and nobody is perfect. I'm sorry if that hurts you but it's true. People have issues. End of story.


2.E: Rating The board rating is R. We are allowing sexual content and violence but if you have either please rate your thread with an [M]. If a thread you are participating in heads that way and wasn't intended to then please PM an admin and we will gladly insert the label.


2.F: Post Length Every post needs to be at least three paragraphs. Nothing below that. Its just too disappointing when you write a post with a ton of detail, etc and someone else comes along and replies with one line.


2.G Pregnancy & Character Number If you want your character to be pregnant then you should ask permission. Be warned we are not going to allow hardly anyone to be pregnant as that is not the basis of this board. But it doesn't hurt to ask. Also you are allowed no more than four characters. We don't want you taking on any more characters you can handle, and then end up completely ignoring some of your other characters.


2.H: Advertising You may only advertise in the section marked advertising. And you must read the rules. Those are the only requirements. If you have actually thoroughly read the rules, you should know that what was stated earlier is not the real phrase. The actual secret phrase is as the world falls down. Thank you.

2.I: Administration If you are contacted by an administrator or moderator do not ignore it. Try and abide by whatever they say, unless, of course, it is something idiotic such as "kill your character so i can pwn joo!!11!". If you are ever spoken to like this by a moderator or administrator, please inform me of this by forwarding the pm or printscreening it and adding it to a paint document and uploading it to some form of image hosting service such as Photobucket or Image Shack.

2.J: Graphics You absolutely must have an avatar or signature of the person who represents your character. We'd prefer both, but it's not required as sometimes people choose portrayals where it's hard to find pictures. But you MUST have one or the other. Within three to five days of being accepted you must have one. If not, you will be warned, and if you proceed to break this rule you will be banned from the RP until you oblige to this rule.

2.K: Graphic Sizes Avatars must be 100x100 pixels and Signatures can be no larger than 550x200.

2.L: Character Reps Please use actors/actresses for your character reps. We will accept cartoons/comics but only if no other rep can be found. Thank you.
