It was a chilly October afternoon and fog banks filled in the garden as eighteen-year-old Rowan Corday was perched upon a thick branch in an oak tree. He had gotten done with his classes early and didn't feel like going back to his dorm so he decided to take a detour to the garden. His golden eyes looked through the fog, with his heightened sight allowing to see clearly and take in his surroundings around. There was no else outside except for him and the wind that whipped around. He took a deep breath of the October air as he looked up to the grey sky over him. A storm would be coming by the look of the grey storm clouds over him.
He smiled weakly as wiggled in his spot for a short second. He then took a breath and opened his mouth to sing a familiar song. "Everything's so blurry and everyone's so fake and everybody's empty and everything is so messed up. Pre-occupied without you, I cannot live at all. My whole world surrounds you. I stumble then I crawl." Rowan sang softly. He drew a small breath before continuing on with the song. "You could be my someone, you could be my scene. You know that i'll protect you from all of the obscene, I wonder what you're doing, imagine where you are. There's oceans in between us but that's not very far." Rowan sang again. He paused for a moment, thinking of the rest of the lyrics.
The rest of the lyrics started to come to him, allowing him to sing the rest of the song. "Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well ya shoved it in my face, this pain you gave to me. Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well ya shoved it my face." He sang. He stopped for the time, after a hearing what sounded like footsteps.
