Seth stared evenly in the mirror. It was not unusual for him to examine himself in the mirror. Whether it was this life or the last, more this one, he was a vain individual. What was unusual for this particular occurrence was that he was frowning. The handsome man in front of him was certainly that but for the first time in a long time he was slightly self-conscious. The world slightly was the key. It wasn’t like he was going to admit how his nerves were acting for the occasion. Seth sighed and adjusted his collar. He was wearing a white dress shirt, and a dark green vest. He knew once he got outside that he would need his jacket. He hoped he did not look that formal. The jacket he chose was different from what finished off his suit. It was a plain black and slightly baggy. With his trousers, the jacket would not attract some attention. He did not need to look like a random rich person that only wore suits- even though he was.
After brushing his hair to a more presentable quality he turned away from the mirror. The next item of his attention was his cell phone. He checked for messages. One came from work, which he ignored. Seth sent a quick message to Bianca saying he would be there soon before turning his phone off. His luck would give him half dozen calls from work from ignoring a simple unimportant message. So it had to go off. Keys, wallet joined his turned off phone in his pocket. Shrugging on his jacket he grabbed the final thing he needed before leaving. His gift for Bianca was small and still on the expensive side. Well, not for him but he wasn’t sure how she would think of it. It was sad being a year behind on his relationship, especially with Jackson and Chloe’s wedding in a few days. He was not going to send any negative feelings, and for today work on his own relationship.
He was not someone to be ecstatic for Valentine’s Day but it was an excuse to go see his recently reacquired girlfriend. She seemed relatively happy and agreed to go out and he took it as a good thing. He had most of the day planned out. Because he could not cook and it had been a while since they had a sit down meal, he decided to go out to one of the less known and quaint restaurants he knew of. It should be enjoyable. The last thing he took before going out the door was a hat. The extra piece of clothing was more for disguise than fashion and warmth. Of course, it still being him, the green color matched with the rest of his outfit. Seth was starting to get used to people recognizing him on the street as Zoicite. He would remain trying to avoid them. The last thing he needed was for something like that to happen today.
A fifteen minute ride later he arrived at the restaurant. A quick glance around showed that he was the first to arrive. He shrugged; he managed to come a couple minutes early after all. He entered the building but waited until he got seated.

The always calm Bianca was fidgety. She’d changed her outfit three different times, had debated on rather to put on make-up or not for about 20 minutes and then spent the last 10 minutes wondering if she should just cancel her plans and stay in. When Seth had asked her if she wanted to spend Valentine’s Day with him she’d agreed and her heart had speed up with joy at getting to be around him on her favorite holiday. Of course she wouldn’t tell him this, she was still unsure of what they were doing. Bianca wanted to be with him; however, with the earth realizing who everyone was, she feared their relationship might be doomed.
Nerves aside, Bianca did look beautiful. She had her hair swept up in a twist at the back of her head and only a light gloss on her lips and a slight application of mascara. She wore a blue sweater dress; the scooped neckline was enticing but tasteful. Of course she accompanied that with a large white hat and a pair of sunglasses, even she had to protect her identity. Now she understood how Priya felt. She was supposed to meet with Seth at the restaurant, a quant place and she was glad for it. She drove the short trip to the place he’d told her to meet him and stepped inside. She smiled as she saw him, he was beautiful as always. His flair for fashion amazed her, seeing as she wasn’t very good at it.
Everything about him was amazing to her, even back during the Silver Millennium she’d been intrigued by him. Now, was no different, after realizing that she was staring, Bianca walked over to him and offered him a small smile. “You look nice. I…I can’t wait to see what you have planned,” she said only pausing to cover up what she’d been about to say, she’d missed him. Her cheeks flamed red and she ducked her head, glad that the hat for the most part hid her embarrassment. She glanced up as the waiter came by to seat them. She tensed, as she always did wondering if they would be discovered. As the day for Chloe’s wedding drew closer her tension rose, just one day, that’s all she asked for.
However, they were seated and the waiter walked away. Bianca let her breathe out slowly, unaware that she’d been holding it. With them being seated, she glanced across the table at him. "How's work? Anything exciting going on?" She attempted a normal conversation, with small talk and everything. No senshi business would get in the way of this day.

Seth only waited a couple minutes until Bianca turned up. He gave a broad smile, bowing his head in greeting. The preferred one would have been a rather large hug and possibly a kiss but he decided against it. Not that he expected to be rejected, per say. If it sent off the wrong way he did not want the rest of the outing to be awkward. He had enough of that in their relationship the last year. He would attempt a more physical and loving approach later if everything was going well. Even if it was just a hug, though, that would be a very sad day indeed. Scanning her choice of outfit, and simply her, he admired the simple beauty there. His smile broadened some more, “I know I look nice. You’re beautiful yourself.” He had already arranged a table in his weight and guided his date over to the appropriate table.
He leaned back in the comfy booth, picking up the menu. He stared over the top for a moment before speaking again, “Don’t worry, I don’t have any more planned than some food, unless you want to do something else afterward.” He shrugged, turning his gaze back to the menu. He really had not thought any further than getting a bite to eat and enjoying pleasant conversation. He hoped that there was nothing wrong with that and she was expecting something more. Glancing up he noticed her blush, “You need to stop doing that,” he said playfully. Really, he thought it was cute. Of course it was, though he knew she would not like to look so embarrassed all the time. Thinking about it, he did not know the last time that he blushed. Seriously, what guy did anyway? Now that would be embarrassing.
He put down the menu, undecided, and put his full focus back to Bianca. He raised his eyebrows at her comment, thinking about giving a sarcastic comment about work being her life but held it in. He was not in the comfortably of speaking like that in the relationship again. Cautious? Maybe. Unlike him, yes it was. There were some things that people had to hold in while first getting back in a relationship. She shook her head, “No, nothing new or exciting.” Seth’s work had been simple lately. As usual, that was a big difference from the rest of his life right now. He filed some paperwork, approved a couple new designs and denied double that. His idiot coworkers had finally stopped suggesting making monster fighting weapons- for now. He had faith they would shut up for at least a week. “How about you? Not too many bothersome kids?”

Hearing his comment about his appearance caused her to start laughing and shaking her head. ”Confident as ever Mr. Coleman.” she joked finding this side of him so familiar and completely Seth that she was unable to help it. ”You always say that, thank you Seth. It’s very sweet.” Having said that she felt a slight smile tug at her lips, she’d almost forgotten how happy she was around Seth.
Still with everything happening between the citizens of earth and Chloe she was reluctant to want to continue this romance with him. ‘It will only end in heart ache.’ A fact she knew all too well when she had to kill him as her past ego Athena. Her past self was coming back full force now and even though rationally she wanted to back off and leave, her heart wouldn’t allow her to. ‘You’ve lived with your head for so long, why not once live with your heart?’ she wondered and relaxed visibly as he admitted he hadn’t planned anything else.
”Seth, I love being with you. I just feel strange when you spend too much money. So after this I would love to continue to spend time with you. However if you keep up with the compliments I might just stay this color all night.” She teased him back knowing all the while that she would be mortified to be blushing for such a long while. ”I find that hard to believe, there’s always something new and exciting. Especially now and days,” she said and gestured at his disguise subtly. She brought her brows together and shook her head, she didn’t think her kids were annoying, although a small smile did play at her lips. ”Seth, that’s terrible. The kids are always angels, it’s the parents that should be slapped,” she added the last bit just loud enough to be heard by him.
”So where should we head after this? Maybe we could head to the Eye of London, It’s always pretty up there,” she offered as she finished speaking and glanced down at the menu. She hadn’t really eaten today, she’d been at home but she’d been working busily on papers and what not as well. She’d forgotten as she occasionally did, to grab something to eat, a fact the girls probably would have yelled at her for had they not been preoccupied as well. Finding something that sounded good she filed it away and turned her attention to him. She really had missed him more then she could or would ever say.

Seth huffed, narrowing his eyes slightly. “Of course, it wouldn’t be me otherwise.” He had an impulse to give Bee a hug, or something along those lines. If he did though, he wasn’t sure if she would turn so red that it became unhealthy. The last thing he wanted on this date was the young woman to faint from all the blood rushing to her cheeks. Instead, he just offered a grin. “I say it all the time because it is true. If you think its sweet that’s a bonus, I guess.” His attitude was on the border of being teasing. But wasn’t that what boyfriends were supposed to do? As long as they avoided the fainting part, it was all good.
He shook his head, staring down at the menu. “Well, you have to get used to the money part of me. It’s sprouting out and might as well use it. I promise that I don’t just toss it out.” It may not seem like it but Seth was very picky on what he spent his money on. He took the best and something that was actually worth all the hard work to earn it. Some people will think of it as over the top and unnecessary for a few of the items but he made sure it was all worth it. “I appreciate that you like spending time with me. I would certainly hope so at least. I don’t want to be the only one to enjoy myself.” This was good. Seth was always a talker but some conversations lately seemed a little strained. Now he was talking smoothly and comfortably again. He would enjoy every minute that it lasted.
Flipping through the menu, he looked up and raised an eyebrow quizzically. “Do you think it is effective?” He gestured to his disguise. He was not really in the mood to talk about why he needed it right now, but some opinion would help. Bianca knew him well and could probably always recognize him, still input was appreciated either way. “I would have to think of something else once the weather gets warmer. This heavy wear would stick out in the summer. Maybe I won’t even need it then though coming up with something beforehand won’t hurt.” He would also burn up with his disguise in the summer months. So it wasn’t as thick as his previous one. It was still not fit year round.
He clucked his tongue lightly, “You think kids are angels; I think they’re annoying. You could blame the parents but after a certain age they have to account for themselves.” Seth was aware he was sometimes crazy as a kid. He had become disciplined over the years and just hoped the next generation succeeded in that. Scanning the menu one more time he made up his mind and placed it down. “We could do that. I don’t really mind where we go. I’m handling the meal so you can pick whatever else to do after this.” Seth was overjoyed to spend most of the day with her. He remained composed, however, as being ecstatic over a simple thing didn’t fit him.

A smile played across her lips as he huffed at her teasing, it was adorable. She did think it was sweet, although she wouldn’t exactly call what she’d just said a bonus. She was speaking to him honestly, he made her feel beautiful when she was around him, not a feeling she was used to feeling. It was a feeling she normally didn’t care about. His teasing tone was met with enthusiasm on her part; this was like old times between them. Back before her career became her life, now it seemed like they were sliding back into it effortlessly.
Bee still wasn’t sure on how to feel about his use of money, she did make a healthy salary as a pediatrician, but she was also used to not really bothering with it. However, she understood and appreciated his statement about not blowing it mindlessly. ”I promise that I like spending time with you, some days after we broke up I would come home from work and want to call you just to see what you were doing,” she admitted and although she really wanted to change the subject to something less serious, it seemed to be heading in that direction.
Hadn’t she promised herself that the conversation would stay away from the senshi business? Instead she not only brought up senshi business but also managed to confess a vulnerability that not many people knew about. ”Oh of course it’s effective. I think when the summer comes you’ll have to find something different though. You would look strange dressed like that in the middle of summer and draw more attention to yourself. Maybe try sunglasses or something, another style perhaps?” she added different suggestions hoping that he would forget her momentary lapse of judgment to reveal just how much she missed him.
Bee could only shake her head and smile at his view on children, their view on the subject would always differ, and she was sure. ”Alright, so maybe they’re not always angels. The parents are still worse if you ask me. Maybe I can just relate to kids better,” she added. One thing Bianca and Seth could relate to was their past. They had both been disciplined growing up. Bianca had to grow up fast as a child in order to cope with her father’s death and her mother’s sickness.
She’d studied most of her life and maybe now that she was helping children, she could understand better what she’d missed. She mentioned none of this of course, she’d already let the conversation down a somber path but she didn’t want it go back to that. ”We could spend the whole day together but you don’t get off the hook just because you bought dinner. I picked the Ferris wheel and after that if you still want to hang out, you get to pick. Or we could just go back to my place or yours and relax together. That way you don’t have to be all super agent Coleman and be in disguise the rest of the night.”

Seth smiled at Bee saying that she liked spending time with him. That was nice to know. It dropped off slightly when she continued. He wasn’t sure how he would have reacted if she called so soon after their break up a year ago. The first common sense part of him told him that he would have been elated but a deeper, darker side said he would have probably blown his head off. It was a very stressful amount of days when those events occurred. Thinking about it, the blonde knew he would have acted irrationally if she tried to make up so soon afterward. That would have not been good for his soul. It was most likely a good thing that they gave each other some space. Though, he wished they got back together sooner. He had fallen way behind by this time. Not betraying these thoughts, he put the warm smile back on his face “That’s nice to know, hearing your voice would have been good.”
He simply went along with his girlfriend’s slip up, not wanting to go deep on sensitive topics at the moment. Talking about his ‘disguise’ was on the wayside of conversation. It was good to have a second opinion on it though. He gave a slight nod, “Yeah, I’m planning to change it up when warmer weather comes. Sunglasses will definitely be on my list.” It was sad, running away from this part of his identity. Rather, running away from the people who suddenly recognized it. Down the road, he’ll be able to handle it. It happened all too fast right now. Hearing that it was effective he decided to let it drop there, for now. If not exactly sensitive, it was an awkward topic to talk about currently.
This was one of the things he could see being a potential problem in the future. Bee adored kids. He was annoyed by them. Maybe they would be one of those couples that would never have kids just to avoid the topic. At this rate, that was a long time coming anyway. Not that he would let any sexually driven thoughts to control him right now. Heh, he could always try to get used to kid presence in some other way. “That could be it. I can’t think of a time I’ve known you, in either lifetime, where you acted like a kid so you can relate to them. But I trust your logic.” He sipped the water that was provided for them, his eyes travelling around the room until back to his date.
“Ferris wheel, Ferris wheel. Sounds good. I don’t see you being the type to cuddle up, but that would be a nice bonus.” He laughed, hoping it would ease any tension or awkwardness with his joke, not make it worse. The thought pleased him but he kept anymore of that to himself. Seth grinned, tapping the rim of his glass lightly. Gesturing to his face, he attempted to sound serious with his words. “What? I rather enjoy that reference there. ‘Super’ and ‘agent’ sound cool to me, don’t you think?” He dropped the playfulness, if it could be called that. “It really depends, I suppose. At this point I’m not sure how I feel what to do next. Wait until we’re done here and I will give my answer.”

Bianca knew that telling Seth about her desire to call him after the break up wasn’t a good idea. She had been the one to break up with him, also the reason she’d never called afterwards. She was sure he didn’t want to see her, it was understandable and for the best. However, she was determined that tonight would be dedicated to nothing but fun and laughter for them. Maybe she was just trying too hard to keep things relaxed. She relaxed as he smiled, she was worried that she’d ruined the mood but it was good to see he was still relaxed. ‘Alright Bee, just relax this is Seth you’re talking to. He gets you maybe more than the other girls do at times.’
With that thought in mind she found herself comfortable and aware of how silly she was acting beforehand, she shouldn’t try and make everything relaxed, just let it go. However, letting something go and not controlling it was hard for Bianca. So taking the hint that he didn’t want to talk about the events that caused him to have to disguise himself she let that line of conversation go and nodded her head. He was right about her though, she didn’t act like a child, and she had never had the chance. So she fought hard to make sure no child under her care would go through that.
She knew potentially it was going to be a problem, the fact that he didn’t like kids and she loved them. Maybe she would make do with the children of her friends. Surely they would have babies and she could be the awesome aunt. That was a long way off and right now wouldn’t produce a good conversation if she pressed the issue, so she let that one slide as well. She smiled as he attempted to get rid of the awkwardness by bringing up her lack of cuddling; it was true she liked her space.
”Well since it was Valentine’s Day I planned on embracing a whole new side of me…if you don’t want to cuddle that’s fine though,” she teased back. Sitting here in the restaurant, it was easy to tease him. She had come a long way since they first started dating and whenever he would get close to her she would get all flustered and turn red. Thinking of that time in her life she glanced at him with curiosity.
”Did you enjoy yourself whenever I would get flustered? I was just thinking that I whenever you would come around I would turn red almost all the time. I’m wondering if maybe you did it on purpose,” she said thoughtfully. Again she was teasing him; he couldn’t possibly have meant to come around to see her get flustered.
Still she enjoyed the easy banter they had. It made her laugh hearing his desire to play super agent ”Well if you want to play super agent far be it from me to stop you. Just promise you won’t disappear at random points of our date to go shoot someone and I’ll be fine,” she promised and started to laugh picturing Seth as James Bond was pretty funny.

Seth could only smile when Bianca talked. With the new tension in the air, he was glad that they were on talking terms again. That was one less thing to worry about. Everything was in the past. He was never one to get too caught up in what has happened after analyzing it and moving on. Over the past year, Seth did not know if he would ever be able to fully get over the absence of a love life. He had plenty of things to focus on without it but that was never enough. Now that they were together, in a sense, the twenty-three year old was surprised and relieved how easy it was to move on.
Taking a small sip of water, he glanced around the restaurant. “Well, that sounds wonderful. I’m all up for getting close if you are. I don’t want to make you uncomfortable, so just making sure.” He had missed a physical relationship since… he didn’t remember. If he was around the guys he would often complain about it and knowing they probably talked and teased about it behind his back. Whatever, he could be patient. While spending the time apart, the twenty-three year old would be tentative because he did not want to feel that again. No pushing the relationship until it was stronger again. Breaking it this early would only prove to rattle his heart.
He leaned back in his seat, placing his folded hands out in front of him. “Now that you mention it…” he spoke out. Voice light, he paused momentarily before continuing. “Actually, no, I never purposefully tried to get you flustered. That would mean I did something wrong when I wanted you to be comfortable.” Stretching, he smirked. “I would not say that I did not enjoy some of it. You are cute when flustered.” He reached for the glass, tapping the edge in thought. Seth liked seeing the different expressions he could conjure up from the young woman. What he enjoyed most were the happy expressions as anyone would want to see from a loved one.
He ran his hand through his hair, getting a few blond stands in view. Examining it vainly, he brushed it back. “I can’t promise I won’t do anything.” He said simply. The comparison was funny but he would take it. His life was crazy enough and agent was a little low from what he was thinking. Though, there was no reason to complain. Bianca agreed to the super part; that was good. The best part was hearing her laugh. “I won’t go anywhere. I want to make sure we are on the same page. That’s all.” He contemplated blowing a kiss though that was too cheesy and like a teenager. “I know where my priorities are for the night and that’s with my girl.”
