Well being a convert to Zero from E7, I had to find some similarities/differences between the two. First the I quite obviously came to was Saito and Lousie's first kiss, which comes in episode 1! In Eureka Seven we had to wait 50 whole episodes (but hey that made it all the better.......)

Another really cool parallel that I noticed was the whole "I will protect you theme." Both Saito and Renton are really giving it their all to protect the girl they love (or in Saito's case the girl he's not sure he loves at first).

I was wondering if anyone else who watched this show before or after E7 and noticed some other cool differences? I bet there are a ton, those are just the two that truly stuck out in my mind.

one thing i see so far they stay together a lot more.renton went missing eureka was sad.now when saito went missing near the end of the second season louise was sad.this also has a co to both was done in the 20's eps.

Also the difference is Saitos got all the ladies lol.

All of the ladies are after Saito...While Renton has Eureka...Well, both guys actually don't need to have any other girl. :)

What I have noticed was, at the start of both series, the lead girls were quite dominating. Louise being the master of Saito, Louise has rightful authority over him.Meanwhile, Eureka being Renton's first love, she has somewhat established an authority. Well, Renton would basically do anything for her.

i like the first kiss saito got ,all hot and fanted!lol

I do not like how many Louisexsaito kisses anime skipped though. Or their dates..They were all skipped away to nothingness sadly. No character development, not much romance..Replaced with more Agnes and tit-jokes.

For christ sake during volume 8 Louise and Saito almost had sex in the novels...

And in novels Louise wasn't just sad...She actually tried to kill herself...

all these comparisons that you see between E7 and Znt look rather forced. Same comparisons you could find in Dragonball or almost in every freaking anime out there. You have to find more detailed (and less general stuff) to compare with to make such comparison a having sense one.

please next time use novel spoiler on it we don't have any novels here to read and compar to we just have the anime for it.60 to 70% of the novels are done it translation.

I would like to agree with toni and jackpot about the spoiler alert.

And please, don't try to be mad at us in the 'forced' comparisons we had made. They just happened to be what we were able to compare. Sorry if it isn't what you had expected.

I would use spoiler tags if they would...exist yet there are NO spoiler tags so I don't care much about your comments that I should put spoiler tags on...

The only way would be writing SPOILER which seems to be pathetic way and only getting more attention.

So yeah, criticize me about not putting spoiler tags only when those spoiler tags would exist.
