Other: Like most witches and wizards, Emily started flying at an early age with her first broom being a toy broom that hovered just far enough off the ground for her toes to brush the grass as she flew in circles. Living on a large properly outside of Stratford-Upon-Avon granted her the luxury of being allowed to fly in her own backyard without the risk of exposing magic. As she grew, so did the brooms, from the early Nimbus models all the way up to the brand new Firebolt. During her first year at Hogwarts, she excelled in her flying lessons, and by her third year she had secured a spot on the Slytherin house team as a Chaser.
Millie Azure is a student Death Eater. Having been raised by a father that served the Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War, there was never a doubt in her parents’ minds where her loyalty would lie. From the very first time she opened her eyes, it was seen to that she would grow up believing in the same doctrines of pureblood superiority. Blood traitors were the biggest disgrace magic had ever known, and Mudbloods were their demon spawn. The summer before her sixth year, with Draco Malfoy at her side, her path into the future was set in stone.
The amnesia started when she was nine. It was small things at first, short amounts of time lost. She would be in her bedroom, black out, and come to ten to fifteen minutes later in the sitting room of her family’s manor without any recollection of how she came to be there. Over the course of the following years, the gaps in time started to become longer, and her parents had begun noticing changes in her behavior. One day she would be the well-behaved daughter they had raised her to be, the next she carried herself like someone who had power at their fingertips. It wasn’t until the voice started talking to her that she realized something was wrong, but she kept her secret to herself. Although she had no name for what was happening to her, Muggles call it Dissociative Identity Disorder. Her only known alter, who goes by the name of “Mem,” is a powerful pureblood witch who believes whole-heartedly in the doctrines of pureblood superiority and the teachings of the Dark Lord. But the question still remains as to what, exactly, triggered this split in young Emily’s mind? Only she knows the answer, but whether or not she will ever be strong enough to face it remains to be seen.
Dymitri Azure, the aristocratic father of Emily Azure, is from old blood and old money who relies heavily on his views of pureblood superiority. A Hogwarts alumni from the house of Slytherin, Dymitri served as one of Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War. When the war ended he, like many of the Death Eaters of the time, managed to avoid punishment by claiming to have been under the influence of the Imperious Curse. During the years that followed, he and his family remained members of the upper social class. Today, he serves on the Hogwarts Board of Governors and has donated large sums of money to St. Mungo’s and Cornelius Fudge, earning him a great deal of pull with the minister behind the scenes. While his relationship with the public remains largely influential, Dymitri’s relationship with his wife and daughter remains nearly nonexistent.
Mother: Vivian Dowicker-Azure, the career-obsessed mother of Emily Azure, has made a name for herself throughout England- and all of Europe –as an award-winning breeder Crups. The business, passed down to her through her mother, began in the early 1800s, soon after the first Jack Russell Terriers appeared. Some say the family bred the first Crups, others say they simply helped. Either way, the women have been associated with the breed since it was first introduced into the wizarding community, forked tail and all. The breed is known for their aggressiveness towards Muggles, a trait most probably due to the purebloods that bred them. It did not take long after the Crups’ introduction for the Ministry to step in, demanding that citizens obtain a license in order keep the dog certifying that they are capable of controlling the animals in Muggle-populated areas. The ministry also passed regulation requiring the extra tail to be removed through the use of a painless severing charm before the pups are eight weeks old. Today, Vivian Azure is one of the top breeders in England, Europe, and worldwide. As the business was passed to her through her own mother, she raised Emily with the expectation of passing the business down to her when she was old enough; however, she made the mistake of blatantly favoring the dogs time and time again over her daughter causing a rift to form between the two.

General Appearance: Petite. Standing at a modest 5’3” and weighing a mere 105lbs, Emily Azure has always had a fragile look to her. Her dark black locks resting in stark contrast to her pale complexion only serve to accentuate her porcelain doll appearance. When she is not donning her Hogwarts Robes or Quidditch Uniform, she never seen without the cover of long sleeves to hide the Dark Mark on her left forearm.
Likes and Dislikes:Strengths and Weaknesses:General Personality: Emily. In a world filled with darkness, she has the potential to be a shining ray of light. This is a young woman who could easily be the poster girl for thinking for yourself. Despite having grown up surrounded by the doctrine of pureblood superiority, Emily has come to the conclusion through simple logic that it is nothing more than hogwash and fear mongering presented by wizards who want to remain in the dark ages instead of moving into the new century. It is her personal belief that Muggles are little more than Squibs who have, through generations of gravitating towards their own kind, forgotten all about the magical families they once descended from. The magic still runs deep in their veins, showing itself every so often in the Muggle-born witch or wizard. Unfortunately for young Emily, views like these would get her disowned by the very family she has fought to keep and impress for so many years. For this very reason, very few people have ever seen or heard the truest thoughts Emily has to offer. She had buried herself behind another personality, a personality that her entire world sees and knows, and each and every day that personality grows a little stronger while the truth behind Emily Azure becomes a little more obscured.
Millie. The young woman that started out as a character in the play of Emily’s life, simply reading lines from a script pre-programmed into her brain like a parrot, has become something much more like a second skin. Although none in her world have ever cared enough to take notice, Millie is a very robotic type of personality, saying only what she has been taught to know and believe. She is, in every sense of the word, the perfect pureblood Slytherin, and while at Draco Malfoy’s side, she has earned the title of “Slytherin Princess.” A persona that was once simply a character in a story, Millie has become a very real, self-imposed, dominant personality. It is careful to note, however, that she is not an alter of mental disorder from which Emily suffers.
Mem. The only known alter in Emily’s undiagnosed Dissociative Identity Disorder, she is a powerful witch who views the world from a time when magic did not have to be hidden. She is an older woman, perhaps in her late-30s or early-40s, who not only believes in pureblood superiority, but takes it a radical step farther, believing Muggles to be a plague upon the earth; hiding their magic is the greatest disgrace a witch or wizard can commit. Despite her hunger for power and control, she has chosen to follow loyally in line with the Dark Lord, even going as far as committing Emily to a life of service as a Death Eater. Make no mistake, Mem has her own plans for the future, but for the time being she is enjoying another chance at youth in the body of a teenager, tedious schoolwork and all.
