Terra (Earth) The homeworld of the Terran Colonial Alliance becomes less and less important as every year passes. Many of the colonists left the planet behind to escape the bickering nations, and the ineffective "United Nations" organization that attempts to keep war from erupting on the planet. Hippolyta's Girdle The asteroid belt in the Sol system was originally referred to as "THE" asteroid belt by humans, but with their expansion to other solar systems this became an inadequate name. In tribute to the brave women who helped forge humanity's path out of the Sol system, the asteroid belt was renamed. A large group of Ylia call this asteroid belt home, and there are occasional whispers of "The Dead" being in their midst.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Alpha Centauri Three stars light the colony of Alpha Centauri. It is not made up of a single world, but instead four grouped around the two larger suns (Alpha Centauri A and B), while Proxima Centauri provides dull red glow from the distance. As the oldest colony outside of the Sol system, Alpha Centauri is often ignored by newer colonists.
