The impression it's guests receive from the deep toned, rich colored wood of the "old world" Bavarian style building is only enhanced the sounds of music coming from within. Upon entering the room is lit by oil lanterns around the room that seem to never run out of oil. It gives the hardwood furnishings of the tavern a warm, mellow, but cheerful glow. The lamp flames adjusted perfectly as to not be too bright, but still able to chase away the cold or malevolent shadows that may have tried to follow any guests into this place. Above all, this place feels warm and safe.
Welcome to The Pen 'n Quill Tavern. Relax. Have a drink, maybe a bite to eat. Unwind and let the writers block melt away. Oh, and there's a hot tub here too.  |
