Hi Daisie,
Following your question, I asked my Giclée Printer today and he confirmed that giclée prints can be made from graphite drawings. If you follow the link I have given Rose (below) you will find information concerning the process and life expectancy of giclée prints. Hope this is helpful to you, Hi Rose, I spoke today with my good friend, Lukman Sinclair, who provides me with all my giclée prints. Working from home, he currently supplies artists throughout the North West of England and North Wales and occasionally to other parts of the world. I mentioned your experience in finding a printer in Australia. Lukman confirmed that he would be interested in supplying giclée prints there, however, this would depend on you supplying him with your original artwork via post or alternative. Following delivery of original artwork, Lukman then sends giclée prints in a postal tube to his clients, which he has done successfully for the past 20 years. He suggests that you contact him by email with any queries at: lukman@sinclairfineart.co.uk (Lukman will be away now until Monday, 16th November). His website is at: http://www.sinclairfineart.co.uk which provides much information on giclée printing and of his prices and service. Hope this is useful to you. Please let me know if I can assist you further. Best regards, Pierre |

Hi Pierre thank you so much for doing that for me mate. I shell defiantly have to look into it. A lot will depend of cause on the cost of getting the painting to and from him as by the time I do this it could work out costing me just as much. Plus runs the risk of the original getting damaged. Although maybe it might get me to work with watercolours more as they would be much cheaper to get over there as opposed to oils. Is the currency there British pound. That way can understand the cost. I've copied the info and saved it and will surely contact him after his returned. Thanks again mate. =D

Many thanks, Rose. It's a pleasure to assist you. Prices quoted are in fact £sterling or British pounds. Please let me know if you have any other queries.
Kind regards, Pierre |
