Hi Jane,
These are all so beautiful, your paintings are really lovely and transparent. I find that I paint watercolours more like acryics and I don't have the transparency that you do. Do you have any tips or sites that would be good for me.
I would love to see you do more, they are so pleasing to the eye.

Thanks everyone. These are just for practice but I am taking them more seriously now.

The only think I can suggest Marilyn is to really water your paint down. That way if your work is too light you can add more to it to build up the layers. That's what I've down with the following once I started gettting the hang of WC again.

Thanks so much Jane for the tips and the sample, it's very pretty and I will try doing that. I do think that that is my problem and I'm losing the transparency that makes watercolours so pretty.
