Well, its been awhile since we have done any serious advertising, and now Haku and myself would like to host another contest!
Consider this the Olymipcs of WT. It will be an honor, you will revieve a badge to put in your siggy, and the honorary title of Victor! There is even a special role play prize for the first place winner!
BROWNIE POINTS
If you can remake the advertisement, and put one of the WT videos NICELY in it, you will gain +3 points if we pick your add as the nicest done. Please don't change the add to much, just add the vid and make it look nice.
Now, in contests past, the game has been played so whoever gets to fifteen first is the winner, and the next two people who reach fifteen are the second and third place winners.
This contest will be slightly different.
RULES
Due to sad (shame WT!) inactivity, I am closing this TOMORROW. To win it, you merely have to be the one person who has racked up the most advertisement points. There is a section about how many points a site can be worth. The person with the most points at the end of the week and Five days will be the winner.
So to win, you may only need fifteen, you may need fifty. This way, it is more competitive, and hopefully, more people will be able to participate!

I found this CUTE MMORG today(literally). Its called Luna Online and is a smash hit over in asia and is making its splash over here in the West.
Anyway, it is still fairly new, and as many of us gamers know, the earlier you jump on a good site, the better off you are. It runs really well (although the first download takes a bit) And in some cases ( I happened to be one) the first time you try and run it it will say there's an error. Don't spazz, just try again and it will work fine.
The graphics are great, and although it does take some time to get used to the controls, they are easy to learn and well, this game just kicks ass.
You can play as a human or an elf, and you get to pick what style you specialize in. There is the Mage (magician), Rouge (bow and arrows), or Fighter (need I explain?) All of the charis are in 3-D cuteness and you get to create your own look. ( Its h ...read more |

Why I need you!
Okay some of you know me, and if you don't hello I'm Buckles.
Right now I'm in the process of making Emphoria. A site that I've been working on for a year.
Now in order for it to be successful I'll need help from you lovely people out there.
It is still in the young stages but with help it will progress.
I'm not going to promise you a high ranking spot because you helped, though the person who helps the most will be the co-owner.
Despite the fact that you are not getting a high ranking spot shouldn't turn you away from help me.

Seeing as that we nearly deleted half of our members in our last Activity Check, I believe that Withering Tales is worth saving from this current massive loss of members. We seem to already have amazing members as it is, and plots are unfolding that are just amazing, however, we need more members. Everyone is overlapping plots with members they already have plots with, and we feel that we need to fill these overlappings with a spider web of connections throughout every member of WT by their characters.
For this to become reality, we must get more members and their characters. Therefore, we have Withering Tales Second Official Advertising Contest, or WTSOAC - pronouced "W-T-SOCK". Please, pardon the screwiness of the name, but WTSOAC is just what we need.
However, with all contests, there are rules! So, as to make these at least a little more challenging than just posting an advertisement, you must abide by the following:- You must either make a professional looking advertisement for Withering Tales, or use the premade one here.
- You can not post on a site that already has a WT ad on it. Please, check the first three pages at least, and if you don't find them post. If it is there, the staff can look for you past page three.

Here at Withering Tales we believe in fairness and chivilry, amazing, yes? Before you advertise, you must read the following rules, to make sure that your advertisement is not deleted. If any rules are broken in any way, or a staff member sees it as unfit to be advertised or affiliated here on WT, they will tell an admin if a banner must be removed, or will simply delete it themselves.

Our rules for advertising are as followed.
- if we are allowing guest free advertising here, you must provide us the same. It is simply not fair to us, or to other websites wishing to get their name spread in the world wide web.
- If your site allows graphic breeding - PMs exempt - or racial slurs, your site will quickly be deleted. Plain and simple.
- If you post an advert without any requirements, we must be able to do the same upon your website. It is just not fair for freedom on one end of the deal, and your ad/affiliate will be deleted.
- If you post anything along the lines of "Join my site", we won't even look at the ad before deleting it.

Please, if you are advertising on Withering Tales, we would so happily appreciate it if you put up our advertisement and banner somewhere on your site so that we can get this place running!
