Personal Style: Amberly is not very uptight when it comes to her appearance, but she does put effort into making herself look somewhat presentable. She wears only light make-up that accent her best features, and her outfits, when not required to wear her school robes, are simple but attractive. Her favorite thing to wear is a nice tank top and jeans, but she does love to get dressed up for fancy occasions.

Overall Appearance: Amberly was born about a month premature, and because of that she has always been on the smaller side. She is not weak, however, in fact, far from. She is incredibly athletic, and playing Quidditch as well as the occasional Muggle sport makes her very muscular in all of the right places. She hates her legs though, for some reason. They’re just too big, in her mind. But since she hasn’t yet discovered any spell to whittle them down, she deals with them.

Amberly has beautiful blonde hair that she keeps fairly long. She loves flying, and when she does, her hair blows about in the fast wind, and she simply loves it. Ponytails really aren’t her thing, and so her hair is more often then not completely down.

Amberly’s eyes are probably her favorite feature about herself. They are a perfect almond shape and a beautiful hazel color. Her eyes always accurately display her current mood, you just have to be close enough personally with her to distinguish between her many moods, as she does have quite a lot.

Gets along with: Amberly likes the type of people that are not judgemental based on things that are out of a person's control, such as blood status. To her, it doesn't matter what your blood is, it matters what you do about it and how you act. Amberly herself has been discriminated against by her own relatives, so she knows how that feels. She likes to pretend it doesn't bother her, however. Amberly usually gets along with people who can hold their own, aren't needy or desperate for attention, and are just plain fun to be around. Boring individuals hold no interest for Amberly; she prefers someone with a bit more spark.

Overall Personality: From growing up continually having to back sass her mother, Amberly acquired a sharp tongue and a quick mind. She is often very sarcastic, and this usually makes or breaks her first impressions. Her closest friends deal with her vitriolic attitude, but many others find it quite annoying and avoid her because of it.

Amberly became accustomed to having to defend herself and her beliefs, and doing so has made her incredibly determined, loyal, and extremely stubborn. She will never back down from a fight or deny what she believes, and she will most usually speak whatever is on her mind, whether or not it is harsh. One of her favorite phrases to use is “I was just being brutally honest,” and she finds herself using that quite a lot. Yet another quality that people either love or hate about her.

She isn’t one to really care about what other people think, or at least, she will never show it. There are a few rare times when she will actually be hurt by someone’s words or actions, but at these times she remains quiet, often ignoring that the person ever said or did anything.

Amberly loves to write, and she writes in her journal religiously, whether an angry or upset rant, or just something she found particularly funny that day. Her love, her life, her hopes, her dreams, practically everything Amberly lay in that journal, and she would most likely rather die than have anyone read it. She does also like to write poetry, however, and on a rare occasion she might let one of her close friends read what she’s written, but rarely.

Amberly has a strong heart, a wild spirit, and a colorful personality, and she can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies. You decide.

History: Coralie Blaire was a beautiful young pureblooded witch of the proud Blaires, a pureblood family that had deep roots, but was dying off quickly. Coralie was the only child to her parents, which meant that upon her marriage, the Blaire line would no longer continue under that name. It was the greatest wish of her, her parents and her entire family that she marry a lovely pureblood young man, so that at least her children would be pure, even if they would not share the great name of Blaire.

Parker Quentin almost fit that description. Parker met Coralie at a fancy reception for the Ministry of Magic. Parker’s mother and Coralie’s father were co-workers there, and they had both brought their only child to the large party held within the Ministry. When the two youngsters met, it was love.

Seven years later, when Parker was nineteen and Coralie was eighteen, the two were married happily. Only three short years later, little Amberly came along, and she brought the two great joy. However, after her birth was when the problems started.

Somehow, Parker let it slip that his father was indeed a Muggle, making himself and his daughter halfbloods. Coralie was furious, not only for being lied to this whole time, but knowing what she had married and given birth to would not be acceptable to her family.

Since then, the family was rather unstable, but luckily, Coralie did not leave. She did however try to raise her daughter to have the same standards, so that when Amberly grew, she would know how to find and choose a proper husband. Amberly, who was rather attached to her father from the start, grew bitter towards her mother for constantly implying that her father wasn’t good enough.

Amberly of course, received her Hogwarts letter and was sent off, being put into Ravenclaw, and with good reason. The young girl was incredibly smart for her age, so she fit in perfectly with her new housemates. She got through six grueling (not really) years of school, and she is now in her seventh year, newly of age and practically a woman. Key word: practically.
