Nicknames: Reese has a lot of nicknames. Many people just give her random ones that last for about an hour. A lot of names simply stick with her. But the ones that have stuck the longest are Reeses, Reesie, Ree Lee, Reese Bomb (usually used when she is being particularly loud), and then of course the usual last name drop: Blaire.

Sexual Orientation: Reese is straight, though there was a month or two her fourth year when she questioned if she really was or not, but soon she realized that she was simply just over thinking it.

Hair: Not charmed? Dull brown. Charmed? Most usually some hue of red, or flash of flames. She changes it a little bit all the time.
Eyes: Gray.
Height: Short. 5'1. She wants to grow, she really does.
Weight: About 125
Build: Reese is quite petite, but she is no weakling. She's strong for her size, her arms toned from Quidditch.
Distinguishing Features: Her most distinguishing feature would have to be her hair first and her height second.
Personal Style: Reese loves to stand out, and loves to be stylish. Clothes are her mistress. One day she could look completely normal in a cute tee shirt and jeans, and the next she might be wearing a neon leopard print jumpsuit. It's all about her mood. She also loves vintage flare, and the classy feel that has. Basically, she'll try anything once, as long as it isn't something slutty. She isn't a fan of large amounts of cleavage and skin.

Overall Appearance: Reese is a rather petite girl that stands at a mere 5'1. Her arms and legs are or the normal length, with no awkwardly high knees or anything. She's very pale, so when she blushes it's VERY easy to see. SO, if something embarrassing happens it's very obvious how she feels about it. Not that she really cares all that much. Which would explain her hair. It's like the sun, usually in varying colors of yellow, blonde, red, and/or orange. Usually she wears it down, her flaming locks splayed out without much styling. Yes, she did charm it to look that way and still does change it up when she feels the need. Sometimes she might charm her hair blonde, if her mother wants her to tidy up for a party or something. Other times she may make her hair redder, or lighter, depending on her mood. But always they are the shades of fire, of the sun. If she didn't charm it, Reese's lovely head would be covered with a mop of boring brown hair.

Moving from her hair, to her face, her eyes are a brilliant (though they don't really stand out with that hair) shade of gray, and usually very easy to read. They glint with mischief, darken with sadness and brighten with joy, much like many other people's. She has pouty lips that can spread out into a vibrant smile and a small, button nose. Her face is very angular, with a strong jaw and a rather long neck. Moving down, she has small shoulders, and a small waist. Compared to the rest of her, her hips appear to be wide. She's also pretty short, barely edging out on 5'2 now. Being so petite, but also having her curvy hips, can make it somewhat hard to find nice fitting clothes.

But that problem doesn't really faze her. Reese Blair has a certain flair for fashion, but walks (more like shimmies) to the beat of her own drum. She'll wear shimmery, metallic leggings, a floral dress and a bow tie in her hair and think nothing of it. She adores color, and anything unique. But that's not to say she always dresses that way. Many a time she'll be known to be seen wearing a bright Quidditch tee and some snug-fit jeans. It just depends on the day. In fact, during the summer her mother prefers her to wear be traditional outfits, and often asks her to "tune down her hair" to some more "normal". Even then, though, her manner of speaking and the way she moves speak for themselves.

Reese could have her hair totally blah, and her clothes completely drab, but her personality still shines through in the way she moves. She has an awkward gait, sometimes with a light skip in her step, other times more slow, depending on her mood. Most of the time, though, Reese moves fast, what with her chaser skills. They seem to transfer into her normal movements of the day. Reese is always on the go, and she's a girl with very recognizable footsteps. They sound like quick steps, sliding one after the other, a tiny bounce at the ends. Though a down mood can hinder that exuberance.

[x] singing-It's the one thing that she holds dear. When she loses her voice she just wants to cry.

[x] clothes-It's just another way to express herself. She finds it fun to get dressed every morning.

[x] paper-It's just waiting to be filled with what ever she wants! Whether it's one of her poems, or something she's drawn.

[x] brooms-They take you away, and being up so high is just plain fun!

[x] Wilbert, her toad-He makes her smile even when her day totally sucked.

[x] Her hair-Because it's different and she finds it pretty, even if others say it burns their eyes.

[x] Being busy-She likes to always have something to do, since she's a very active girl.

Dislikes:

[x] Home-It takes time away from things she finds to be more important.

[x] Her mother's job-She'd never admit it, but the fact that her mother's an Unspeakable scares her. Plus, it takes her mother away. She already hardly sees her because of school, but when she's home she might as well be somewhere else.

[x] Structure-She hates things that are perfect and following rules that she finds to be bogus.

[x] Mushrooms-They're just plain nasty, and her father loves them. So, of course, on his birthday in AUGUST, when she's home, they eat a lot of them. She's forced to.

[x] Being bored-This isn't often, because she can entertain herself so easily, but that just makes it all the more worse when it happens.

[x] Being held back-Not being able to do what you want, what you feel is important, seems to be one of the worst feelings for Reese.

[x] Days where she does nothing-Reese is all about experiencing life, and to not be able to do that, to be cooped up and useless, well it drives her crazy.

Gets along with: She gets along with most anyone, even some Slytherins. Well, until they say something that annoys the crap out of her or makes her angry. Then she wants to tear them to pieces. Anyone that she can hold a conversation with, she'll talk to. Of course, her favorite people to talk to would be people who, like her, aren't afraid to be themselves. It's a big plus if they like to have fun. She loves to talk, so if you can keep up a conversation with her, you're good. Her favorite people in the world, though, are those that can keep up with her or even challenge her, or simply inspire. If they can invoke something new and fresh from her, she probably won't be letting them go any time soon.


Overall Personality: Reese is wild and passionate. She's a free spirit with the wittiest of words to say. She loves to write poetry and then scream it at the top of her lungs in the Quidditch pitch (one of her domains), in the dark of the night when no one's around. She loves to wear wacky clothes and prance around in them. She just loves being herself and she isn't afraid to let anyone know it. When she gets involved in something she throws all of herself into it. She's one of those people that lives by the statement to live life like there is no tomorrow. She's very stubborn and hates to do her school work, but does it anyway, as soon as she can, to get it out of the way so she can spend her time doing what she pleases. She's very sensitive, but she doesn't let people see it. She's loud, and some people may think it's obnoxious, but her friends just love her for it. She's a small girl with a lot inside, and it's not all good. She's done her fair share of things that she's not at all proud of. She wishes she could say she had no regrets. She feels like you shouldn't, that everything you've done makes you who you are and you should be proud of who you are, but she's done some shameful things. At least she feels like she has.

Despite these shameful things, Reese tries to live her life to the fullest. She knows that there's a lot she wants from life, a lot she wants to accomplish. She's excited for it, and of course a little scared, but she doesn't let that fear dictate her choices in life. Conquering her fears is what makes her stronger, and she wants so badly to be strong. One of her main goals in her life is to some how avenge the deaths of her grandparents. She knows it's petty, she knows she should just release it. And she really has, but she can't simply sit there and watch time go by as more families are torn apart the same way hers was.

Because of what Reese has lost, she's really open to a lot of types of people. She wants to trust you because she wants to know you and know you well. Reese really is someone who considers her friends family, which is why she doesn't try to judge on just one fact she knows about someone. That's not to say she hasn't, but she tries not to. Boggart: Growing up and having nothing to live for. Along with being alone, no family or friends. Basically, herself alone, and unhappy. This would probably involve her with her normal brown hair, as silly as that may sound.

Mirror of Erised: Looking into the mirror Reese would see her vibrant self knowing her purpose in life, being completely wrapped up in it and happy. She's have her family and friends with her, fully supportive and safe. Basically, the complete opposite of her boggart.

Mother's Occupation: She is an Unspeakable, which means that Reese doesn't really get to see her mother much. Their house is shielded with many defense charms and the such. Reese can never have anyone over because of this. She hates her mother's profession, and is constantly vying for her attention.
Father: David Blair, 46
Father's Occupation: He owns a car dealership. He's made a few cheesy commercials. He's obviously the muggle, and at times finds magic to be a little hard to be used to.
Siblings: No siblings, though she really wishes she had a little sister.
Other Relatives: All of her grandparents have passed on, and she only has a few distant cousins that she doesn't really know that well.
Pets: She has a toad named Wilbert. She's been known to at times keep him in her pocket or on her shoulder. He's an olive green color with a black spot on his back

History: Reese Annalee Blair was born in a family without any brothers or sisters. Her Mother (Anna Lee Blair ), for as long as she can remember, has been an Unspeakable, and that tears her away from the family. Her Father (David Blair) has also always been busy with owning his car dealership. This meant that she spent a lot of time with her Mother's parents, Gramma Kathy and Grampa Edwin, in their cottage just outside of England. She really grew to call that home, until both of them were killed by a group of what we now know are Deatheaters. She thanks God everyday that she wasn't there, and she hates that she does that. She has this idea in her head that at the age of 11 she would have been able to take on fully grown wizards. She's always known that it was of her Mother's profession, but she's never voiced it. It's one of the reasons she hates her Mother's job. Anyway, her Father's parents died when he was in his twenties. One in a car crash and the other from a Muggle disease. Her Father met her Mother when he was twenty-two and she twenty-one. They were wed two years later. It was when Reese was three that her Mother became an Unspeakable. Before she'd been an Auror. It was during some of duty time that they questioned her if she'd like the very dangerous job. No one ever turns down a job like that. Even though it changed their lives.

The whole family's lives were changed. In fact, poor Reese was really raised by her grandparents because her parents were so busy. Her home wasn't really looked at as being a safe haven because it had to be covered with so many charms, enchantments and jinxes and curses. It was so defended, it scared Reese as a young child. It made her think that she could be attacked at any time. And she could. Which was why she was always with her grandparents. Right up until she began at Hogwarts, Reese stayed there about five days out of the week. When she came to Hogwarts, it was a true safe haven, much like her grandparents' home was to her. Reese visited them one last time during Christmas break, and that was the last time she saw them.

When Reese found out what had happened to her grandparents in the middle of her first year, her whole outlook on life changed. The moment she'd found out what had happened, she ran off to the middle of the Quidditch pitch and screamed. She screamed her heart out until her voice was gone. Later, part of her had regretted it because she couldn't sing normally for a week. And anyone who knows her knows that's a bad thing. But, in that week she really changed as a person. It's like part of her grandparents souls drifted into her because all of a sudden she was filled with this desire to be who she wanted to be, just like they always had been. This was probably the most defining moment of her life, after all, those two people were more like parents to her than her own had been. But before she accepted all of this, she was very unhappy and reckless. She doesn't talk about it, and she's never told a soul, but at the mere age of 11 she thought about what it might be like if she just ended it all. She's so ashamed that she'd thought that way these days, she's so ashamed to have the memory of sitting by the lake thinking Just jump in and don't come back up. Just do it. If it weren't for the fact that a friend had come up behind her at that moment, she isn't sure what would've happened.

Eventually Reese got better, like most strong willed people do, and grew into the person she is today. But not without other bumps and bruises along the way. Just two years ago, during her fifth year, she wrote an angry letter to her mother saying everything she's ever wanted to say to her. She sent it with a Hogwarts owl, but then she backed out and called the owl back. She tried to send it a few more times, but she never can bring herself to do it. She hates that she gets so scared of sending a stupid letter, but she can't help it. She's made a promise to herself that she'd do it this year, her final year at Hogwarts. She wouldn't let herself be a coward about it. Lastly, Reese has done a few other things that she isn't very proud of, just like everyone else. She realizes that all she can do is just accept what life hands you, or what you hand yourself. It's hard though, but she still goes about most days with a bright smile that rivals her hair.
