Krazy and Christy are proud to present( Posted Image) Starringplay by Cintia Dicker. as lily josephine evans
__in dreams we enter a world that's entirely our own Name: Lily Josephine Evans. Nicknames: Lils, Lilykins, or Evans. Gender: Female. Age: Seventeen. Year: Seventh. Birthday: January thirtieth. House: Gryffindor. Wand: 11 ½ inches, Elder wood, Dragon heartstring. Blood Status: Muggleborn. Sexual Orientation: Straight.
__time is making fools of us again Hair: Red. Eyes: Green. Height: Five foot, seven inches. Weight: One hundred and forty pounds. Build: Slender Distinguishing Features: Freckles, chicken pox scars, and dimples. Personal Style: When it comes to clothes, Lily just goes with whatever is comfortable and whatever she wants. She does not like to follow trends, so she tries to be her own person; which sometimes does not always work. Whether it is wearing a bright coloured neck lace, or different coloured shoe laces, she will wear it, just to stand out. All she is had her whole life were boys to look up to, so she turned out to be a bit of a tomboy. She likes to play rough sports with her brothers, and does not mind getting dirty every once in a while. Though, there are some days when Lily comes to class and she is looking quite dressed up; it is usually because she is trying to impress a boy and whatnot.
Overall Appearance: Lily’s appearance is a simple one. She is not the fairest, nor the prettiest, and she is sure there are other girls boys would choose before her. She has a very innocent look about her, which helps her get away with a lot of things. One look at Lily, and you could tell she's definitely her parent's child; she's the spitting image of both of them. She has her father's round, baby-like face and body structure. Her face actually reminds you of a doll, with her pale white skin and slender cheeks. She looks much younger than she actually is, so much so that people are surprised when she says she's seventeen. When she smiles, there are noticeable dimples in her cheeks, which only add to her innocent-looking face.
Lily is the spitting image of both her parents. If you knew her parents back then, and saw her now, you'd know instantly she was their daughter. She inherited the same light shade of red hair from her grandmother, skin tone from her father, and different features from the both of them. She has a very innocent look to her, and sort of reminds you of a doll. When she smiles, there are apparent dimples in her cheeks, which only add to her innocence. Her nose she inherited from her father; it's short and slightly pudgy. Lily's ears, on the other hand, look almost as if they belong to someone else. They're very obviously small and hide well underneath her hair.
Lily is seventeen years old, but you wouldn't guess that just by looking at her. She's quite short for her age and people are actually surprised when she tells them she's seventeen. She's a mere five feet, seven inches, and has basically stopped growing. It's already been said that her hair is red, but it's also long and goes down to the middle of her back. Lily's eyes are a feature she got from her grandmother, actually. Both her parents have green eyes, but Lily came out with a dark, deep hazel color, which is the same color as her grandmother. All in all, Lily isn't terrible to look at, but honestly she's not a bombshell either; she's just average.
At first glance it looks like Lily’s eyes are any other normal, boring green colour. But if you look closely, you can see they are quite different. Firstly, she has sort of a mix of both her parents’ eyes in shape. They are small and almond shaped, which resemble both her of parents very well. The colours of her eyes are what get people’s attention, however. The pupil looks almost pure black, and has a green ish tint around it, which blends into a dark, mahogany red. Around the red there is a hue of gold, with tints of silver in it. Lily thinks her eyes as her best physical feature, and she is quite right. Lily’s voice is like any other young, British girl’s voice. The only distinguishable thing about her voice is that it has a slight Irish twang to it from spending holidays at her grandparent’s house in Ireland.
__the mind is a complex and many-layered thing
Likes: Quidditch sports music animals movies art photography philosophy pasta body spray candles thunderstorms cheering the sound of her own voice attention Dislikes: Spiders crickets trends quietness bananas alcohol cigarette smoke cheaters liars people who ramble reading schoolwork cleaning people who correct her know-it-alls Best Traits: Vivacious kind open-minded warm intelligent Worst Traits: Stubborn picky controlling icey talkative Strengths: Weaknesses: interrupts people hard to trust other people talks too much Fears: The dark loosing a loved one Gets along with: Lily tries to get along with everyone she comes in contact with. She loves people so she hopes generally that people love her too.
Overall Personality: The word to describe Lily is vivacious, without a doubt. By definition vivacious means lively and animated, and that’s Lily all over. She’s a very hyper girl who doesn’t like staying calm. She’s also very happy and totally optimistic, and definitely thinks her glass as half full rather than half empty. It’s hard to be sad or depressed when you’re around Lily because she’s very good at making people laugh and be happy. This fact about her has actually made her the butt of Slytherin jokes.
Some Slytherins call her Bozo Evans, since she’s happy like a clown. Surprisingly she doesn’t actually mind this, however. Although oddly enough it does bother her when her real friends call her that; she doesn’t quite know why. When it comes to things she likes, Lily loves art and literature. She likes classical and antique things, especially antique clothes. She’s a bit of a collector, and keeps an eye out mostly for antique pearl necklaces and dresses. She often wears pearl necklaces even with her school uniform.
As for things she doesn’t like, Lily can get very claustrophobic, so she hates tight and cluttered spaces. Once when Lily was nine, Petunia locked her in the hall closet while both their parents were at work, so she had to stay in there for five hours until they came home. Lily figures this is what made her claustrophobic and also afraid of the dark, even now at age eighteen. She also absolutely hates the word mudblood. Whenever someone calls her that, Lily tries her hardest not to look upset, but it’s difficult for her not to be effected. Lily is also quite optimistic and looks as her glass half full, rather than half empty, as most people look at it. She doesn’t like people who look down at things and who are pessimistic. A lot of girls seem to be jealous of Lily because people think she’s perfect. Obviously she’s far from perfect, as no one is. She has a huge habit of biting her nails and has horrible nails. She also tends to interrupt people quite a bit, especially when she’s nervous or hyper. In the eyes of Slytherins Lily is the opposite of perfect, since she’s muggleborn. All in all, Lily is quite a fun person to be around. She loves her friends and family, and is very respectful to everyone who deserves it.
Music is Lily’s life. She considers it to be second on her list, right under education. She’s extremely talented at playing the piano, and plays it frequently. She loves to play classical music, especially Pachabel’s Canon in D, which is her absolute favorite song. Not only does she play the piano well, she also plays the violin. When it comes to boys, Lily is extremely shy. It may look like she’s mean and cold, when in fact it’s simply that she’s shy. She’s never been in an actual relationship before, and isn’t that surprised. Boys just never notice her; and frankly, she doesn’t mind.
She doesn’t play it as much, but when she does she does it very well. Lily likes to sing as well, but thinks she’s horrible at it. Along with music, Lily writes poetry as well. She’s even composed a few songs with lyrics, but of course has never shown anyone. She’s very self-conscious about her writing, and has only shown her parents her work. When it comes to hanging around with her friends, Lily seems to be like a completely different person. She’s been described as funny, but she doesn’t think so, she just calls it good timing. Lily doesn’t have many friends, but feels she’s lucky for the few that she does have. She tends to be a bit picky when she’s letting people into her life. She’s very loyal to her family and friends, and will dive in front of a bullet before she let it hit you. Lily is a very good friend, and will never let anything happen to you. Lily is very talented as well when it comes to writing, which she inherited from her mother. She's been writing stories since she could Lily, and has even written a book. She's also quite funny as well, even though most people would consider her sarcastic. A noticeable thing about her is that she's also very healthy and can take care of herself. She's been known to take more than one shower a day and hates germs. Lily is even a tad germaphobic when it comes down to it. She'll never use a public restroom (except those at Hogwarts, obviously), or use a public stairwell.
Lily can also be extremely opinionated, as well. If she’s talking about a certain subject and no one is listening to her, she’ll just get louder and louder until someone does. When it comes to things like mistreating animals or house elves, or calling witches like her mudbloods, Lily has very high opinions about that sort of thing. You don’t want to get her started on those specific subjects or she’ll talk your ear off about it, seriously. She’s very against the mistreatment of house elves, even though her family obviously does not have one. Lily is also one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. She tries not to judge people before she gets to know them, although she’s not always successful. When she first met James Potter in their first year at Hogwarts, she immediately thought he was pig-headed, stubborn, and just simply unkind. Lily doesn’t normally think of people like that when she first meets them, but James was extremely persistent and bothered her constantly. As they got older, however, she’s learned to accept James for who he is, and is actually starting to like him a little bit.
Lily has been known to take control of a room and is very good at being a leader. She’s rational, and relies on facts instead of emotions. Some people that don’t know her have said she’s able to just turn off her feelings and go with what her mind says, and not her heart. If you actually know Lily, however, you’ll know that’s not true. She’s true to her heart, and sticks up for what’s right.
__it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live
Boggart: The dark. Lily is afraid of the dark, but not because she thinks monsters will come out and get her, but because she doesn’t like being in the dark physically and mentally. Patronus: A snowy owl. Mirror of Erised: Lily has huge motherly instincts, and can’t wait to have a family, so she sees herself surrounded by a faceless family that’s her’s. Amortentia: Freshly cut grass lavender
__where your treasure is, there will your heart be also
Allegiance: The Order. Mother: Josephine Moon-Evans. Mother's Occupation: Dentist. Father: Timothy Evans. Father's Occupation: Dentist. Siblings: Petunia Evans. Other Relatives: None of importance. Pets: Barnyard owl named Barnaby.
History: On the eve of January thirtieth, Timothy and Josephine Evans welcomed their second daughter into the world, and the last child they would have together. Lily Josephine Evans was born at 8:03pm, during an extremely cold winter storm. Josephine decided to have her child at home, so they wouldn’t have to deal with being in the hospital. Outside, not only was it very cold, but there was a thick layer of fog that was as tall as your ankles, which made it difficult for their doctor to get their in time. The roads were icy and it was hard to see, so the doctor had to pull over and wait for the fog to subside. An hour later he was back on the road to Spinner’s End, making it literally just in time for Lily to be born. Petunia Evans, Timothy and Josephine’s first child was merely three years old at the time and was actually quite frightened on what was happening to her mother. She didn’t quite understand the concept that her mother was having another baby, and didn’t like the screams coming from the bedroom.
Once Lily was born, however, Petunia felt completely different. She saw how happy her parents were once she was there, and forgot all about the screaming. As a child, Lily lived a perfectly happy and normal life. Her and her family knew nothing of the wizarding world, until one day Lily met a boy down her street and became friends with him. Lily was eight years old when she met her first good friend, Severus Snape. Before then Lily and Petunia were inseparable and played together constantly, so it was no surprise when Petunia became increasingly jealous. She often followed the two friends when they went off to play either at the park or in Severus’s back yard. Tim and Josephine had an odd feeling about the boy that befriended their daughter. He constantly wore black clothes and wasn’t exactly polite. Lily didn’t seem to mind, and they actually got along quite well and had a lot in common. Petunia tried quite a few times to ruin their friendship by telling her parents how bad of a kid Severus is. They could tell she was jealous and didn’t listen to her. This turned Petunia’s jealousy into anger, and started just simply ignoring her sister. At age ten, Severus decided to tell his friend his deepest secret that he’d been keeping for two years. His parents were wizards and there was no doubt he would be going to Hogwarts in a years’ time. He explained everything about the wizarding world and Hogwarts. At first Lily was confused and even a little scared, but she soon got over it and decided to accept Severus for who he was. Petunia on the other hand, who had been ease dropping on the two, did not. She ran right home and told her parents what she heard, only to be basically laughed at.
Over the next few months Lily spent much more time with Severus than usual; only to ask questions of the world she thought she’d never know. January thirtieth of that year proved to be the most memorable day of the young girl’s life. Lily was with her parents in the family room while Petunia was upstairs in her room. Lily was playing with a toy horse she’d gotten from her grandparents earlier that day when a tawny owl flew into the room and landed in front of the redhead, and dropped a letter in her lap. Utterly confused, Lily slowly opened the letter as her parents came over and sat next to her. As soon as Lily read the words, “You’ve been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry”, she got extremely excited and started jumping up and down. She didn’t even finish reading the letter before she ran upstairs and told Petunia to come down. Instead of being happy like her sister, Petunia stayed in the background while the rest of her family was celebrating. In that one evening her anger turned to pure rage and things between Lily and her sister was never the same again. Later in life Lily would find out that Petunia had written a letter to Dumbledore asking permission to come to Hogwarts so she could be with Lily, but was rejected.
Finally the big day came, and Lily was off to Hogwarts. Much to her dismay, Petunia refused to come see her sister off, and that made Lily quite depressed. The sadness subsided when she arrived at the train station, however. Like most first-timers, all three of them were quite confused on how to get to Platform 9 ¾, but they eventually figured it out. After saying their goodbyes Lily was on the train, ready to start her new life at Hogwarts. When she settled into one of the compartments on the train, she was sitting in front of the window when the door opened and Severus came in. Lily was ecstatic to see her best friend and jumped up and gave him a hug. They sat down and started talking about Hogwarts. Severus explained the four houses to her and kept talking about how wonderful it would be if they both got sorted into Slytherin. Lily just sort of shrugged and nodded; she had no idea what house she would be in, obviously. She didn’t really have a preference either. Of course she wanted to be with Severus, but she wasn’t sure Slytherin would be for her. But she didn’t say anything; she didn’t want to ruin this day.
As it turned out, Severus was put in Slytherin but Lily made her way to the Gryffindor table. She didn’t let herself look at her friend, who was frowning at her from across the great hall. Instead she sat down and began making new friends. The first person she met at the Gryffindor table was a boy named James Potter, who seemed to stutter quite a bit around her. Lily thought he was a bit odd, and didn’t really see herself becoming friends with him. He seemed to be very popular however, and had a lot of friends. At first it seemed to take Lily a long time to make friends, but eventually she did. A few months passed into her first year and she and Severus hardly ever talked anymore, if at all. Lily was scared she lost her friend, but knew deep down it was for the better; they were just too different.
Years passed and Lily had a wonderful life at Hogwarts. James Potter constantly tried getting her attention and asked her out several times, only to be rejected each time he tried. In fact, Lily had a slight crush on one of James’s good friends, Remus Lupin. They had much more in common than anybody Lily had ever met, and they were very close friends. James endlessly flirted with Lily and showed off for her almost every time they were in the same room together.
Now Lily is in her seventh year at Hogwarts; with only one more to go. James is getting increasingly annoying as the years go on, and Lily still hasn’t really talked with Severus in a very long time. Lily is one of the top students in her year and is just getting better and better. She’s trying to get to be picked to be Head Girl next year and is trying her hardest, and things are looking good for her, but she doesn’t want to get her hopes up.

Roleplay sample: As Lily continued to toss and turn in her bed, she was getting more and more frustrated with each turn. Insomnia was slowly taking over, she could feel. The later it got, the more awake she became. Looking over at her bedside table clock, Lily groaned as she saw it was half past two in the morning. The only sounds being heard were the soft snoring of her dorm mates, and she wished desperately she could join them. Lily was almost positive she was the only one awake in the dorm, which made things worse. Well, easier since she was planning to sneak out if she didn't get to sleep soon. Lily really shouldn't sneak out, as she had classes in just a few, short hours. But in her mind she knew there was no point in trying anymore, she already has been trying to get to sleep for five hours now.
Fifteen more minutes passed, which now made it 2:45 a.m. Sighing heavily, Lily sat up in bed, swung her feet over and slipped on her house shoes and robe. As Lily began to creep her way across the dorm floor, she took out her wand, ready to light it when she entered the pitch-black corridors. That's one of the only things she didn't like about the castle. At night they made it so dark you can't see your nose in front of your face. Lily opened the door to the dorm, and began to make her way down the marble steps to the common room. As she neared it, she heard the crackling of a fire. Hm...someone must be up too, she thought, shrugging. Lily opened the door slowly and peaked her head in, twisting her brow in confusion when she saw it was empty. Okay... she thought, shrugging once more. Lily walked across the common room, looking around. She didn't understand why they always left all the Lights in the common room It, when the students weren't allowed to leave their dorms after curfew (which, of course, didn't stop Lily). Lily loved the look and feel of the common room. It was so homey and warm. With its yellow, gold, and red carpet and rugs, big, comfy armchairs couches, Lily definitely spent a lot of time there.
Finally, Lily was out in the corridors, so therefore she took out her wand and whispered, "Lumos," and a glow of Light surrounded her. She hoped no professors, prefects, or staff was out for a late-night stroll, she could get detention for this. In her six years at the school, Lily has never set foot in detention. This gave her easy access for Slytherin taunting, because she was Such a "goody-goody". Though, she shut them up quick because she had something not a lot of people did. Metamorphmagus powers. They were excellent, and she loved using it. She got what she wanted a lot of the time, because she was able to make herself cry at will because of them. She didn't do that often, just when she really wanted something. Lily knew her parents knew she would use it for her own sake, but yet they never disagreed. Oh well, she shouldn't be complaining, right?
As Lily began to walk through the corridors, she could now hear not her dorm mates snoring, but now the paintings. They were so annoying sometimes; but they were also very entertaining. In one painting, she saw that it was a painting of a mother and a baby. The baby had woken up, and was crying loudly. The paintings around it woke up as well, and was arguing loudly. Lily shook her head and chuckled to herself, and continued on. She was glad she was in Ravenclaw, because she didn't have a long way to go to get to her destination in mind. At times Like this she would normally go to a secluded area and play the piano, but she didn't know any sound-proofing spells, and she didn't want to get caught. She was actually surprised she hadn't been caught yet.
At last, Lily pushed open the doors to the towers, slowly, as they creaked. When Lily entered the staircase that lead to the rooftop, she had to stop and wait for her eyes to adjust to the Sudden, even darker, darkness. It was a small staircase that went up to the roof, but it was extremely dark. In the daytime you could at least have the Light coming in from the cracks in the door. But now, nothing. Finally, Lily's eyes were adjusted, and she walked up the stairs to the roof, and opened the door. Lily was immediately greeted with bright moonlight, as the moon was right over her head. The moon was so big and bright, Lily felt she could reach up and grab it. Sighing happily, Lily walked over to her usual spot and sat down, looking up at the sky.
