How many FF4 Remakes/Ports..., does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Apparently three along with the original.

There's been four versions of Final Fantasy 4.

Final Fantasy II - SNES
Final Fantasy: Chronicles - PS1
Final Fantasy II - GBA
Final Fantasy IV: DS - DS

Final Fantasy 4 is getting remade on the DS.

WHERE THE HELL IS SECRET OF MANA?! Seriously Square, stop dicking around and give me my Mana remake. You spend way too much time remaking the same games over and over again.

i'll admit that this is a bit stupid, considering that last year they released the GBA version. i guess FF3 was a bigger success than we thought.

Meh, never played 4. I like 6 a lot more. =D

and yes 6 is a great game, the first FF game I played

6 was a lot better, as was 5 (although 5 had the same plot as 3 basically).

FF 4 and 5 were my favorites, so i'll have to check this out when it comes out.

God, I love FF4

Yes, I cannot forget about FF6; one of the best FF games ever.

I still have to beat it, but I'm pretty far.

I have the ff4 for GBA american, with the dark knight who becomes a paladin.
FF7 pwns.

Japanese FF4 = American FF2

In other words, you're playing FF4, and it's about to get remade.

I could never really get into six. The combat was just sluggish even for a turn based game. The graphcis were all dark, and just bored me.

And again, I must say... WHERE THE HELL IS MY REMAKE OF SECRET OF MANA?!

Neko, send a complaint to them, or make an online petition.

Many online petitions have been made. Another one won't do anything. Also, no e-mail to anyone important is listed. If you can somehow find me Koichi Ishii's email, I will give you my first born child.

Don't give up hope on the Mana series Neko. If they did remake SoM, would you want it for the DS? Would you want it to use 3D graphics? Would you like the same music?

True. That is the sole purpose of games, to make money. There are some games though that I find to be more than worth my money. I find them epic. If a game can give me an epic feeling (like LoZ: OoT, Chrono Trigger, FF4, FF6) then it was worth more than my money.

im glad there remaking it. FFIV was the best ff out there. the newer ones are too realistic. they are to boring. they should just keep remaking FFI-VI.

No, they shouldn't. They should rather reflect upon those games and try their bests to recreate the same feelings as opposed to just upping the graphics and audio quality.

Neko's actually right. FFIV is an awesome game, but they're making it too many times.

Oh yeah, I'm not denying that it is a good game. Infact, it was one of the only FFs that I've actually liked. My main point is just that they need some good new material and a Secret of Mana remake since that game just had Remake written all over it since half the game was cut out at the last minute due to the Super Nintendo lacking enough ability to hold it.

SoM for the DS would be awesome if they put in the new stuff.

It will flop like Children of Mana.

CoM wasn't that big of a flop actually. Dawn of Mana and Heroes of Mana sold poorly, but CoM managed to get a nice number of sales in Japan and America.

Now, a Secret of Mana remake WOULD NOT get bad sales for the fact that SoM was an incredibly popular game. It achieved a level that only big name games do which is break the million mark. Just porting the game alone will get a lot of sales.

Heck, if they made a SoM remake, I would most likely buy it since I enjoy that game myself.
