Creatures gather. George beats his drums.
So it goes.
Anyone who responded to this particular call would find four yearling blazemounts playing in the cool surf of summer island, throwing up their heads and whinnying as they romped through the foam, sloshing sand around and leaping out of the way of the sandy stretches just damp enough to collapse under hoof.
A large sign had been hastily made by some unknown individual, messy bold letters dictating a simple, if apparently rather annoyed, message:
'These damned creatures can't be tamed. I'm done with the beasts. You want 'em? By all means, good luck.'
All four fillies were easily as big as a full grown, smaller-breed Terran horse, so untrained handling was probably out of the question. Hmm... maybe you could impress them by uh... being... awesome? If only you could lure them to you with treats or by doing something cool... Oh, oh! It would be like... like auctioning yourselves! Haha! Novel idea, really. Novel.

I ended up with significantly less time than I thought I would have; colour codes speak volumes to physical description, and I am dropping three descriptive words for the personalities of each foal for now. These WILL be up soon, but I need to work on them in shifts while I work on my research paper and song lyrics. Four FoalsWind Tiramisu - Bonded to Benji Aether Bruschetta - Bonded to Benji Aether Natalya - Bonded to Lucas Wild Aether (who will be sent to the reserve) Rule the World with Love WindBedecked in pale, shining silver over most of her body, the broad-bodied Belgian is quite a pretty (if somewhat domineering) sight. Her muzzle and legs, from hock to hooves, are a darker silver-grey, fading almost to black on her legs, where her hooves are a solid black in colour. Otherwise, no mark mars her rather pristine coat. Her flaming mane is a bit shorter than some, and of course her mane and tail are black as night. She's strong, wields her bulk with poise, and is generally a very sweet thing who'll take very well to being ridden once she's fully grown into herself. On the other hand, she knows what she wants, and she doesn't stand idly by waiting for it to come to her. She'll never hurt you, but by Tarzi she'll reign over you if she has to. When the time arises, she rises to command those around her with little more than her presence alone (which, let's be honest, is going to be a good 17 hands of height and 2000 pounds of muscular bulk). She knows who she is, and she knows where she's going; she may be all love and playful romping and cuddles under normal circumstances, but she doesn't let anything or anybody stand in her way when she's got her eye on a goal. Never Match at All AetherAn oversized Arabian in build, this mare, who is in fact on the slightly larger end of the scale for Aethers, is shrouded in a pale greyish purple, but with a resemblance to a sort of flea-bitten pattern. Specks of a darker and more saturated purple bedeck her entire body, but are heaviest on her neck and flanks. Her mane and tail are an incredibly deep purple, nearly black, and tinted with flickers of a dark, foresty green that contrasts neatly with her pale, purple body. As Arabians tend to be, the girl is flighty; it's hard to get her to stand still, and she's even harder to train. She's about as rambunctious as they come, and it doesn't look like it's anything she'll grow out of. She's utterly inattentive, and frankly has no interest in pleasing you or anyone. Hers is not a bond of give and take; it's a bond of "I might be willing to play with you if you let me make the rules." It would take a really fantastic trainer to get her under control, and there's not much chance of anyone who doesn't know how to handle her ever getting on her back, much less putting a saddle on her. Haha, no. No, you're... sort of out of luck with her. Half the time, it seems like she's contrary just for the sake of being contrary. Crazy horse. Run and Not Hide AetherYou've now met a horse who's just skittish enough to run away... but just curious enough not to hide from you, or stray too far if you've got anything of interest. Her curiosity and her tentativeness always appear to be at war somewhere within her. She is, however, pretty eager to please, being one of the affectionate variety, once you get past her skittishness. She'll balk at new things and people, but she'll never go too far if there's something interesting around, or freeze up for too long if it means displeasing you. Essentially, she won't like being ridden (or any of the things that accompany it, like halters and bits and saddles), but she'll take it. 'Cause she loves you. Ain't she sweet? With the pretty distinctive build of a Morgan, she's a bit short and somewhat stocky. Her coat is one solid layer of pale, almost silverish purple with not a single mark to break up the colour. Her mane and tail don't deviate much from that colouration either; they're a sort of medium-dark purple, with none of those other pesky colours that tend to find their way in. As a result of her skittish nature, she always seems a little on edge, ears constantly flicking around, conformation never quite perfect, but she makes up for it with her physical versatility and athleticism. Any Way You Want It Aetherenergetic, egocentric, playful

The sun was being a real pain in the ass, but Maeko Kuroki was not the sort of person to just let it be. And so came the Serapheline and Toku and Gryphettes, all out to play in a bit of what was possibly afternoon air. They didn’t mind the heat, but the large umbrella was a welcome bit of shade. Maeko had warned them about possibly getting sunburn under their skin and feathers, after all! Most of them were smart enough to listen, and some were just too chicken to cool off in the water. The shade was remarkably crowded, but she expected nothing else from the lazy shinies on a lazy day. After their naps and sunshine they’d likely be nightmares by just about dinner time. Staring out across the cool blue waves, Maeko Kuroki was not entirely keen on moving. While it was true she didn’t like water that much, she could appreciate its beauty, simplicity, and myriad number of secrets that lurked just below the surface. Today would not be a day for her Ialroaine and Beorfin, as much as they may have wanted it. No, today was a day for a bonding, it seemed. George was summoning them to summer’s island, for who knew what. She hadn’t really been paying attention at the call too much.
Not that Maeko was altogether eager for a new bonding to join. She made slow work of packing her things together and summoning up Sorin, one of her most trusted Ialroaine. The lord was quite pleased to see his kind out and about now, but it did mean that he had less time for his bond, and more time playing with new members of a growing pod. Perhaps he would even find a lovely mate someday out in the surf! Ah, but that was not today any more than it was Maeko’s day for finally reading the ending of the trashy romance novel she’d been meaning to get around to finishing. Shutting the book with a sigh, she shrugged off her dress, warned her Topaz Serapheline to guard it, and swam out to meet the picnic blanket Dalui. The male greeted her with a loud trumpt and bobbed his head. A familiar Io’thelin offered her help getting up onto the beast as they set sail.
The writer would have liked Maeko to have commanded the Ialroaine to “surf” but alas, Maeko knew nothing of pokemon or how cool it would be to have a Lapras. Instead, she picked her book right out of the waterproof bag she had around a shoulder (quaint little tricks, magic was capable of, wasn’t it?), and began to flip through it. When one didn’t exactly bookmark their place, it was rather bothersome to flip open the ending and accidentally read a word or two of something you never were supposed to see for another twenty pages. Cursing softly to herself at her eye’s penchant for reading forbidden lines of text faster than the read the ones in the proper order, she continued to look altogether lazy for the day.
Until, that is, she arrived at the island. A quick word was given to the Dalui, who bobbed his head and swam off to graze on some kelp nearby. He’d be within calling distance when she needed a ride back, unless of course a sexy female was lurking around, waiting to woo him! Maybe Sorin was a little eager for some female company that wasn’t his own pod, but could you blame him? Maeko surely couldn’t!
She also hadn’t really thought things through- if those foals were for bonding, and she presumed so, judging from the sign she’d been peering at, then how on earth was she supposed to get one back with her? The waffle would surely not appreciate a flaming horse, and the hose was unlikely to appreciate the waffle.
But that was a conundrum best saved for another hour, as the greatest task of all right now was to gear herself up for a bit of fun in the sun with the foals. Gleaming and scantily clad, she made quite a sight as she ran along the shore, a little bounce in her step… and other places. She could have zoomed right on up to the Any Way You Want It Aether, but that would have been rude and possibly a little startling for anyone that hadn’t ever met a vampire before. So the run or what could have been a fast walk for her kind, was put in place. “Hey there!” She called out, pleased enough t be within hearing range of the filly for at least a brief second or two. As soon as she caught the gal’s attention she waved towards a small outcropping of rocks a good quarter mile away. A little gleam in her eye gave away her intentions, as she paused and pretended to line up across a sand-drawn starting line.
“Wanna race?”
She couldn't really auction a lousy novel, but maybe the filly would appreciate a fine show of speed?
OoC: I am assuming joining is open? :3 Feel free to say no. xD

To spend time with Aflaquevlees was a rare but enlightening thing. The Kal'daka had so much to teach Benji about the ways and mysteries of Planet and it seemed he was more equipped to do so than any smoothskin the ghoul had met thus far. They sat in the warmth of a noonday sun, finally silent from hours worth of questions and inquiries. The Kyorli was young, but far wiser in the ways of bonding than Benji could have ever hoped to be and his calm, assertive demeanor made the man feel comforted as he was taught.
There are some who can learn to speak through minds like I can. Others cannot, and still others only in their own languages or in images or feelings. Benji nodded as the wolf spoke, catching the cool, unwavering blue of his bonded's eyes. Some are fully subservient while others can never truly be tamed... only satiated. The life on Planet is varied, as was made obvious by our encounter with the Wyverns. I held no knowledge of their kind's kinship with humanoids.
"How many other species are there?" The ghoul suddenly felt himself completely absorbed by curiosity.
None may ever know. Shinies come and go as they rise and fall from the brink of extinction. It was almost humbling for Benji to know that even creatures with what he'd always thought as magical powers could be brought to the very edge the same way humanity had in his world, yet something he couldn't quite ponder on without feeling the tinge of sadness. Suddenly a rain of drum beats fell through the still air and the pair gave pause to listen closely to the message. Aflaquevlees turned to his bonded with a solemn nod.
Here is your chance to learn of another species of Shiny. They are called Blazemounts. They are prey so take care not to startle them. And no, they cannot speak. He'd quickly assumed the questions that were forming in the ghoul's mind before they'd even crossed that rotten tongue.
"Aren't you comin'?"
No. My presence as a predator would disturb them. Go. I will see to my Pack. Benji nodded, unwilling to argue with the beast (was there any arguing with the Alpha Watcher, anyhow?). The pair stood from their reclining positions and the ghoul slipped his arms about his bonded's thick neck in a familiar sign of departure. It was never goodbye between them; Benji had never liked goodbyes. The Kal'daka was off with rocketing speed and the ghoul turned casually to saunter in the direction of the Keys. Though he was still new to this place and these customs, he felt he was adapting quickly, especially with Aflaquevlees' help. The smoothskin's he'd encountered so far hadn't always been the kindest bunch, though he had to admit a certain amount of politeness among some of them.
It was along the way to the shore that he suddenly realized he had nothing to tempt any sort of non-verbal creature with. Sure there were a few packages of foodstuffs in his bags but none really good for herbivores. Then, as if in answer to his need, the trees parted to reveal a never ending grove of shining apple trees. They came in every color and species imaginable, all growing from the same trees with no discrimination beneath the boughs. A smile broadened the corners of his lips as he reached to find the choicest fruits along his path and stuff them into his satchel. As always there were boats and their caretakers waiting to give hopefuls trips to the different isles. Benji's was as uneventful as they come, though he was still aghast at the clear, crystal waters.
Finally arriving it was easy to spot the yearlings tossing themselves through the edge of the ocean. He gave the slightest of nods to Maeko (not wanting to be completely rude lest she be one of those not-so-horrible smoothskins) before pulling a bright green apple from his satchel. Though he smelled rather horrible he hoped the delicious crunch of the apple would stir curiosity in the equines and help them overcome his rotten appearance. Pulling his dagger from his belt he sliced the apple in two before holding it out to the remaining three Blazemounts since he assumed the Aether to be preoccupied by Maeko's offering of a race.
"C'mon. I've got plenty more here." He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, moving slowly with the apples brandished before him like offerings. "I'm a nice dead guy."

“Hey ‘Bella.” Lucas had developed something of a soft spot for the grown mare, and he reached a hand up and offered the Pegasus a carrot as she greeted him happily and sweetly by rubbing her nose against his face. Sometimes the female shinies that couldn’t talk were best. The lone Aluna of the household fluttered by the Pegasus, and she greeted him with a soft snort reaching her head out for another carrot, as Lucas reached up and put another one near her lips. “How about we go for a nice ride, yeah?” her long lashes fluttered as she blinked, chewing on the carrot and tilting her head, enjoying his hand rubbing gently against her neck. It was as if he was trying to get her to fly steadily, by going out and practicing with her. As Mitzi would say, the boy never learned.
Fuzz clung onto Lucas for dear life. He often wondered why he chose to tag along with these adventures, but after all the two been through together, the Aluna didn’t ever doubt the young man’s but as ‘Bella lurched in her flight once more Fuzz just clung onto Lucas even tighter. The young man, on the other hand, was getting used to the clumsy Pegasus’ way of flying, and while he always had the consistent fear of falling off or crashing, he was starting to get accustomed to the Moonfire’s erratic flying, slowly, and his grip only tightened when Isabella seemed to falter, nearly trip. He glanced down at the sparks that rained down from the sky, and noticed a small gathering of, well a few people and shinies? Now what could that be about? He gently tapped the side of the mare’s neck, cooing to her rather gently, then with a bit of excitement, the Moonfire made a wide arc around the area then descended slowly towards the beach.
Lucas recognized the fillies, but was confused by their size. The sole wind that he had bonded to and that was back at home was a miniature one, and it hadn’t really dawned on him that Celesita was just a little pony compared to these females. He shuffled through his pocket as he pulled out a few sugar cubes, reaching up to offer Isabella some, each of which she licked up from his grip eagerly. He turned to look at the three fillies that Benji was offering his food to. Maeko, who would be given a nod of greeting had she looked her way, and walked over to the ghoul whom he was not familiar with. Fuzz crept onto Lucas’ shoulder, pressing his body close to the young man’s neck. Lucas had seen Benji around, that was for sure, but he could understand the Aluna’s fear quite well. After Zombies, someone that looked like he was undead made Lucas’ skin crawl, but he fought any sort of fear off by holding out some more sugar cubes that he had pulled out of his pocket. Isabella followed behind him, her eyes on the sugar cube, but Lucas pulled his hand away from her direction.
“Two pieces of an apple ain’t enough for them three.” He commented, his tone not at all mocking because a part of him was just not at all keen in pissing off something that could be, to him anyway, a zombie. His eyes lingered over the Run and Not Hide Aether, but he looked at the other two with just an easy of a grin. He popped one of the cubes into his mouth, then smiled. “See, not poisonous or nothin’, want some?” he split the pile between his two hands and reached out, ready to take a quick step back if they tried to jump him or bite. Fuzz had his eyes on Benji, ready to bite if the man tried anything.
“They’re good, ask ‘Bella. She loves ‘em.”

((sorry this took so long. gonna try to get something in every night now - we've got four more days. treat 'em right!))
Takers? Takers? Oy!
At Maeko's arrival, all four fillies... okay, well, all four fillies outright ignored her for a bit - up until she singled one of them out, of course. The Never Match at All Aether whuffed and huffed in what seemed almost like an equine chuckle while Maeko tried for Any Way You Want It's attention, but after a moment of pretending not to pay any attention to the vampiress whatsoever, the Aether Maeko had her eye on turned abruptly from her play and trotted up alongside the woman. Alright, fine. You want to have a go? Let's go! She reared, tossed her head, scraped her hooves through the sand, then pranced in place. On your mark... get set...
As for the two later arrivals, Never Match gave them the same cursory glances and horse-like chuckles while her two siblings paused in their playing, flicked their ears and examined the two men and their offerings.
Hmm.
Okay then.
Being that Lucas clearly had his eye on her, the lovely Run and Not Hide yearling lowered her head, then took somewhat halting steps toward the fella with the sugar cubes. She sniffed, she snuffed, she stretched her neck out, and she paused - with her body all stretched funny and her nose a bare inch and a half away from Lucas' hand. Did she reeeeally want to go there? =/
The Wind too made her approach, but she didn't look at all nervous. Nope, she strolled right up to mister Benji, side-eyeing him a bit despite her apparent confidence (hey, you'd side-eye him too), then reached out to take one of his offerings, fuzzy lips barely brushing his hand. She did drop some juice onto his hand when she immediately started munching on the thing, but hey... what can you do? Omnomnom, that was yummy. She chewed thoughtfully, swallowed, whinnied, and spun about before launching herself at the second piece of apple. Yesssss, apple.
Never Match at All? She huffed, and if a blazemount could roll her eyes, she would have. Silly kids. You'd need more than sweets to impress her. As if to indicate just how boring this party was to her, she dropped down to the ground and rolled sloppily in the damp sand, getting the stuff stuck everywhere. Yes. Being dirty was awesome.

The first to approach his hand Lucas watched carefully, trying his best to not move too much or too fast as to not, er, startle her or something? He wasn’t really an animal expert, back at home anyway, and to the shinies that he could not simply just talk or mind speak to, he wasn’t particularly good at just out right communicating with. His hazel eyes looked towards hers as she gave him an uneasy look, and he realized, with, well he didn’t know what sort of emotion he felt, and he took a careful, very careful, step forward. He took another sugar cube and slid it between his lips, a small smile maintained on his features.
“Come on, darling. If you don’t be brave and take one now then I’ll eat them all up!” He used one of his fingers to beckon to her, not really knowing if the gesture would mean anything at all to the filly, and he shook his hand slightly so that the sugar cubes tumbled around gently and shifted in place. See look how they sparkled in the sun. Didn’t they look absolutely tasty? They were irresistible, he knew you wanted them…
Isabella in the meantime watched as one of the fillies flopped around in the sand and seemed to be enjoying herself. Her immediate thought was that it looked fun, but she looked at either of her feathery wings, and wondered if the sand being stuck all over it would be particularly good for her. She knew Lucas wouldn’t be very happy if she’d have trouble flying back, so instead of laying down and splaying herself out like that, she simply dug her hooves into the ground, wedging them in until she could feel the cool moist sand along her ankles. She whinnied gently, flickering her tail in some amusement. It felt nice, being able to feel the beach. This much anyway. She looked to the Blazemount then glanced at the water. Wouldn’t the waves be even more fun to play in?
She clopped her way damply towards where the waves lapped at her legs, going in enough so that the waves did not go above her legs but kicking around and splashing and almost tripping all while she was having fun. It really wasn’t hard to please the Moonfire. Fuzz in the meanwhile squeaked around Lucas’ hand and at the Aether. Come on, come on. He wanted some, but Lucas wouldn’t give him any unless the filly took one first!

At first Benji hadn't even noticed Lucas' appearance. Though he'd been polite enough to offer the first comer a nod and a glance, he'd completely focused upon the Blazemounts from that moment after. It wasn't until a comment was directed his way that the ghoul finally turned to see a man and his Pegasus had joined the group. Though he could have been offended, the gentle brush of fuzzy lips against his hands made him giggle as he cocked his head over his shoulder at Lucas.
"Well I figure I can't take 'em all, right?" His words were a playful jest as he fought not to wiggle against the feeling of apple!slobber dripping down his wrist. Turning back to the Wind her grinned. "They good? I've got a couple more." As she crunched down on the second half of apple he tossed a sidelong glance to the Aether who'd sent he and Lucas such a terrible look. With deft hands (but gentle enough movements so as not to frighten off the Wind) he pulled for another apple that he'd stuffed into his satchel. This one was a gleaming ruby red streaked through with the barest hints of acidic green. Brushing off the dirt he sliced this in half, too, but only offered the first to the Wind before putting away his dagger and meandering oh so carefully towards the rolling Aether.
"Let's go join in the fun, hm?" he said to the Wind, tempting her along with the juicy apple slice before he sank to his knees about a foot from the haughty Blazemount. He intended for the Wind to take the apple slice now but if she hadn't he'd toss it between her hooves before plopping to his back and beginning to tilt side-to-side in a faux rolling motion. "Come on in, the sand is fine," he ushered to the Wind as he laid the second half of apple beside him nearest her. There was one more of the ripe fruit in his satchel, but he'd be saving that to try and tempt Never Match At All if she didn't so much like his rolling in the damp sand. Sure it was sticking to his leather armor (and getting into some really uncomfortable grooves) but he hadn't had a chance to act out in quite some time and he knew to take such opportunities where they came. He propped himself up on his elbows to eye the nearby Aether, giving a glace to the Pegasus as well with a clear let's play look. Who cared about getting dirty? Benji'd been dirty for the past two centuries!

Apparently encouraged, if only slightly, by Lucas eating one of the sugar cubes himself, Run and Not Hide leaned forward the fraction of an inch more it took to grab a sugar cube - maybe not as politely as one would've hoped, with her teeth grazing Lucas' hand a bit as she pulled away - and then backed away again (alll the way back, no more leaning forward on her long legs), and chomped down on the sugar. Oh, yum. She munched and crunched, and flicked her ears at Lucas expectantly. Well? You have more, right?
The Wind happily munched on her own sweet-tart treat, following Benji at an easy amble as he lured her over to her sister with a bit of apple. Yuuummm. She took it from his hand with the same graceful little nibble as before when he sank to his knees, watching him with a playful nicker.
Their haughty Aether sister just had all kinds of company now, didn't she?
The contrary young creature had continued rolling around while the pegasus wandered over to play in the waves, snorting a little and more or less seeming to ignore her. It wasn't until Benji wandered over to roll around in the sand too that she reacted... and apparently, doing what everybody else was doing was so overrated. Rolling over, she struggled to her feet (as equines are wont to do), and shook herself... yeah, probably getting some wet sand on Benji. Oops. And then, with a sly snicker at her bigger Wind sibling and an odd look at Benji, she dashed off into the water again, splashing around more emphatically than Bella. And, of course, Rule the World joined in (not before snatching up Benji's other piece of apple), leaving silly Benji to himself on the beach. Welp.

Things seemed to be going just oh-so well for the ghoul at first. The Wind was happy to follow him closer to the Aether and was rewarded with more juicy apple. But it seemed the balky girl just wasn't in the mood for copycats and as she stood and shook herself a spray of wet sand cascaded over Benji. Not only was it damp and gritty (and oh! did it get into all the wrong places) but it smelled like wet horse. Oh just fantastic. As the Wind joyfully followed her sister he could do little more than plop to his back in the sand, arms and legs stretched out as if to make a sand-angel. An overly heavy sigh raised his armored chest for a moment before escaping through the slight grin on his lips. Only the barest hint of annoyance met his face as particles of sand accompanied the sigh (ew... it was in his mouth) before the rotting man rolled once, twice and scampered to his feet.
It was his turn to be contrary. He stamped over to where the small group was playing, marched right into the waves, and began to leap about like an absolute fool. All the while he tried his very best to splash Never Match and Rule the World with as much foam as he could manage. Ha! That'd show her.

Nance, prance, splash - oh. Oh. He wanted to be that way, did he? The Wind whinnied happily, catching her sister's attention and shaking her head at her in what was clearly some sort of equine communication. Honestly, she must have been teasing her or something about Benji following suit and making a fool of himself, but it wasn't all that clear. Hey, they were horses. Er. Blazemounts.
Either way, Never Match huffed and spun in a couple circles before moving a few feet away and kicking her hooves up at Benji. Hopefully the distance and the fact that she neighed wickedly first proved that she was really just trying to splash him, and not kick him. And splash him she did, quite well too. It was the Wind's turn to huff, maybe a little disapprovingly, then to prance around Benji in a broad circle, following his movements. Oy, she liked you. Bond! Rule the World with Love Wind to Benji!
((This has to be over by tomorrow, so my posts are going to be very short and I'll probably post as you do, to the best of my ability.))

"Oh hello, " the ghoul giggled. He hadn't missed that subtle tickle at the back of his mind that signaled a bond to the Wind. He turned to her and extended his hand for her to press her soft muzzle against. She nickered softly before brushing her nose past the pocket she knew contained the last apple. "Easy there, Bruschetta. Save some for your sister." The Wind huffed but followed when Benji pranced off after the Aether. If she wanted to play games like that he'd just get reinforcements involved!
The newfound pair trotted after her, now thoroughly soaked with seawater. Benji kicked again at the surf in the Aether's direction, this time now joined enthusiastically by Bruschetta who was whinnying mischevoiusly.
-I love herrr! I hope you don't mind Benji sticking around to try some more. :]-

Well ow. Lucas flinched back lightly as he felt the teeth of the Aether graze his palm and he decided to laugh it off. He retreated the hand and held it behind him, shaking it off gently as he reached in with his other hand for some more of the delicious treat. “You like it, girl?” he said as soothingly as possible, eyes whipping over to the Any Way You Want Aether. He took one of the sugar cubes with his slightly injured hand and held it out to her, his eyes trying to meet with hers as he waved it around, seductively, maybe? “Come on, darlin’. I know you want some.”
Bella in the meantime was having a bit of fun of her own, kicking and splashing water all around her, probably very well getting it all over everyone around her, ghoul or blazemount. She thought nothing of Benji, he was a humanoid just as any other, and she enjoyed feeling the cool ocean water on her coat. She tried to be careful with her wings, but looked to Lucas, as if she was calling him to join her. Fuzz in the meantime stared at the crystal-colored cubes in his bonded’s hand, as if he wanted one for himself…

Never Match at All seemed to be slowly accustoming herself to the fact that there was now a Pegasus and a humanoid playing with her, splashing her, and all kinds of silly things - perhaps even more rowdily than the four Blazemounts who'd been here from the get-go. Whatever worked!
Finally, with a huff and a snort and a toss of her head, she gave Benji one good, long look, shuffled up close at a slow walk with her head down... and gave him a good, firm shove with her head. Haha! Now you're mine! Bond! The Never Match at All Aether to Benji!
Run and Not Hide seemed confident enough to stick around now that she'd found that Lucas' sugar cubes did in fact taste delicious, and she nickered happily as she finished munching down on the one she'd taken, nosing forward for more cubes. Yes, yes, those were tasty. She liked them a lot. How much did you have? MMmm, delicious. If the young man could keep all that up... Bond! Run and Not Hide Aether to Lucas
Any Way You Want it, unfortunately, was not so impressed with all the antics. With the one person who'd given her singular attention no longer paying attention... nope, she'd pass. She eyed Lucas, then flicked her ears and shifted her body in what looked a little bit like the equine equivalent of a shrug. Nope, she'd pass. Thanks though. You could have fun with her sister. She'll chill, and find some other buddies to romp with. Wild!
((sorry to be a little slow in the beginning - hope you had fun though. Thanks for another fun lil' bonding!))

It seemed that Benji was all sorts of unprepared to have a firey horse sneak up to him and attempt to topple him. The shove of her head elicited a barking laugh from the rotting man as he stumbled backwards only to fly from his feet and land rump-first into the surf. There he slung his hand through the water to splash her once more before struggling to stand. She gave him a judging look. Just as he was getting his balance she tossed her head out again and he landed once more with a huff.
"What, want me down here, Tiramisu?" he grumped, though all in good enough fun. It seemed that the Wind would rather him up however as she strode over and placed her head against his back for a measure of support. He thanked her kindly as he stood, only to receive a rather grumpy glare from her sister. But wet and covered in sand looked so much better on him! The ghoul reached into his pocket for the last apple and deftly sliced it in two with the knife pulled from his boot. One half was offered to each of them, much to Tiramisu's dismay. Hey! She'd only gotten half an apple? She glanced to Bruschetta with a look that said "fatty" before huffily turning.
"C'mon, girls, let's head out. I gotta find a way to get you into a boat and get this sand out of... everywhere." And he did mean everywhere. Loose flaps of skin tended to gather debris such as this and sand was the worst of them all. With a wave to Lucas (the man hadn't been overly rude to him yet, so Benji could afford him some politeness) he lead the new pair of Blazemounts back the way he'd come.
--Thank you again~ I did like this little bonding. Very cute, very quick, and I love the Blazies!--

Isabella’s bucking and kicking around in the water seized as the small ball of fluff that fluttered around her head. The mare turned around, rather clumsily, splashing water even in the Fuzzball’s face, which made the Aluna squeak in a small bout of irritation. The Pegasus did turn around however and clopped merrily over to the Lucas, who now reached a hand out to gently touch the Aether’s neck. The mare flinched back at first, taking a step back from him at first, the Aether took a step forward again only when Lucas pulled out another sugar cube, nuzzling into his reach and taking the sugar cube between her teeth with a sweet but complete utter lack of grace. She practically pushed Lucas over but he grabbed a hold of her shoulders, something that made her muscles involuntarily twitch, but which she ignored as she sucked in the sweetness of the treat.
He watched as Benji left with his girls, nodding his head in a sort of congratulations? Or whatever it was. He didn’t know anything about the ghoul, but it was as if he had enough people that hated him on the Weyrd for him to toss out any sort of kindness to a new comer. He did turn his attention to the mare however, and allowed her a nice scratch on the neck. Lucas’ judgment of whether or not he liked shinies was usually based on the first of the species that he bonded. With Celestia as his first, he had no bad opinions about Blazemounts as of yet, and the mare right before him wasn’t making the horse-like shiny look any worse at all.
“She needs a name don’t she?” He looked over at Isabella and Fuzz as they wandered over, the first greeting the Blazemount with a cheerful whinny, the second giving her an interested sniff. “How about, hm…” The naming process was never really a big fancy ordeal, but the name didn’t quick quite right until, “Natalya. That’s what I’ll call you. Nattie for short.” Like the beer because the nickname was cute, or something, right? Right. Natalya took a step back and blinked evenly, her purple soaked pelt shimmering as she shook her body lightly at the few drips of water that Fuzz had splattered on her.
“Let’s get outta here before it gets dark.” He didn’t want to have Isabella fly any time after dusk. And he didn’t really know how he was gunna get Natalya out with them.
[ Ah, she’s so cute. 8D I love her desc so much, thankyou.
