WLW'S MOST WANTED

The following characters are needed to fill subplots and we would love it if someone picked them up so these plots can get moving. First names of any character not named by JK Rowling may be changed if you reserve them.

THE PRIORITY CANONS

These canons are the most urgently needed as their plots or presence are vital to the board's overall story or so that their subplots can progress/evolve. In times of bans, characters under this heading are exempt.

Helen Goyle | 6th | Slytherin | Prefect *Urgent
Subplot 6
The current girlfriend of Scorpius Malfoy. While she sees white picket fences and little children running around, her beau sees this as a foray into the dating world. Thus far she is unaware that her boyfriend has been sharing his kisses with other girls and is seriously pursuing one Lily Potter though how she'll react when she finds out is anyone's guess. After all, she firmly believes that to be the next Mrs. Malfoy is her right. Who knows what lengths she'll go to to secure that is unknown...

Amanda Fitch-Fletchley | 6th | Hufflepuff | Prefect
Subplot 10
Amanda is generally known as the sweatheart of the sixth year students. She's friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand to those who ask. She also works extremely hard on her schoolwork, keeping detailed notes that she updates every so often. However she has started to notice that some of her rough notes for essays are going missing when she's working in the library. Upon discovering just who is illicitly benefiting from her hard work and a threat by that same person, Amanda will soon have to decide whether to keep silent and safe or to find the courage to speak out.

Neville Longbottom | Herbology Professor | Gryffindor Head of House *Urgent
Subplot 15
Now in his forties, Neville is a far cry from the shy boy he used to be. He's confident, self assured, a rather doting husband and father as well as a caring and helpful professor. He also takes his position very seriously and takes special care of the incoming Gryffindor First Years to help them adjust to their surroundings and is always willing to assist his students with their problems. However since the injury to his daughter Alice, Neville has become very concerned about the safety and welfare of the students as a whole and wonders if the Headmistress' decision to wait things out is going to make things worse...

Caesar Nott | 6th | Slytherin | Quidditch Player
Subplot 10
A rather arrogant young man, Caesar expects the world to be served to him on a silver platter. Unfortunately his grade(s) may make things difficult for him and so to stay on the Slytherin Team he has elected to steal the notes of Amanda Finch-Fletchley to get ahead. Should he get caught by the girl, he's definitely ready to use threats to keep her quiet. However he hasn't counted on her having a white knight ready to stir up trouble...

James Potter | 7th | Gryffindor | Head Boy *Urgent
Subplot 2, Subplot 8
One usually expects that receiving the position of Head Boy would make a guy go over the moon. While James isn't exactly sorry, he doesn't think it was worth the cost of his friendship with Adrian. Unfortunately his cousin is as stubborn as any Weasley and won't respond to any attempts at reconciliation. And naturally there's more trouble. Girl trouble. Because James is not as responsible or mature towards his love life as he is in other areas. While he initiated the break up of his "friends with benefits" relationship with Samantha, that doesn't mean he wants to see her on the arm on Donovan - no matter what the persuasive words of Iris Goyle say.

Timothy Smith | 5th | Hufflepuff | Quidditch Player *Urgent
Subplot 1
Twin Brother to Margie Smith. Though inquisitive enough for Ravenclaw, Timothy was Sorted into Hufflepuff for his kind and caring nature towards his peers. While the last four years at school for him have been pleasant and not filled with any major worries, this year is different. This year he's hearing a strange voice and footsteps of someone not there - and always when one of the Accidents is occurring. Determined to figure out why, Timothy, his twin sister and two of their friends are prepared to do some investigative work of their own to determine just what is going on and why the voice is only calling to him and his twin sister...

Sybil Trawlaney | Divination Professor | Seer *Urgent
Subplot 16
Sybil has started to experience a bit of a decline in her health due to her excessive drinking habits she developed in the late 1990s. In order to make sure she's still fit enough to teach she is required to go to regular check ins with either the Matron or her assistant. In one lesson she will collapse and need to come under the temporary care of Victorie Weasley - but instead of giving the woman silly warnings that are easily shrugged off, she gives one of her rare, "true" prophesies.

Adrian Weasley | 7th | Slytherin | Prefect | Ministari Head *Urgent
Subplot 2, Subplot 5
Though once close to his cousin James Potter, that relationship has soured since James was awarded the position of Head Boy - which Adrian desperately wanted. In his anger, Adrian has not contacted or spoken to James since August, despite entreaties from various cousins. His bitterness also has repercussions, both for his success in the underground organization of The Ministari and for his relationship with his Ravenclaw friend, Calais Aubrey...

Christopher Weasley | 5th | Hufflepuff | Quidditch Captain *Urgent
Subplot 1, Subplot 12
Though identical in looks to his twin, Christopher has a rather distinct personality - he's also more responsible and feels that while making people laugh is fine, pranking can take it too far and being the Hufflepuff that he is, he doesn't like seeing people be he butt of a joke. While he's always shrugged off the labels of "George's son" or "Fred's twin" it has started to get to him. He'd like nothing more than to be seen for himself - Chris Weasley, Hufflepuff...something. And perhaps helping his roommate Timothy Smith could be a start. Providing that helping with the investigation doesn't get him hurt...

Lukas Weasley | 6th | Hufflepuff | Prefect
Subplot 10
Lukas is one of the best friends any person could ask for and a bit of a white knight for his female peers. Concerned about the sudden shift in Amanda Finch-Fletchley's behaviour after the Winter break. Is trying to discover the reason, but so far isn't getting an answer. Should he discover why, there's no telling what he'd do to make things right for his friend or in the name of fairness.

THE SUBPLOT CANONS

While not as urgently needed as the others, these canons help fill up subplots that are in progress or that are ready and waiting to get started. Any canon listed under this heading is still subject to bans on any character type if one is put into effect.

Lena Cauldwell | 7th | Hufflepuff
Subplot 17
Though quite shy, especially around boys, Lena is one of the sweetest girls one could ever meet. After a few weeks of watching her roommate Selene Baker blossom because of her relationship with Calais Aubrey, Lena has decided that maybe it is time for her to have a boyfriend. And with a bit of help from the advice of her other roommate Jacqueline Weasley, she just might be able to find one in Patrick McLaggen...so long as there's no interference and Patrick isn't looking elsewhere.

Donovan Finnegan | 7th | Gryffindor | Keeper
Subplot 8, Subplot 13
Donovan is the most insubordinate player a team captain could ever come across. Conversely he's also one of the best keepers they could ever hope for. For the past two years he's been a thorn in the side of Samantha Wood but after her recent break up with James Potter, he's also an unexpected source of comfort. But now that he's dating his captain can he handle both James' enmity and the pressure from the rest of the team to go on strike?

Iris Goyle | 7th | Slytherin | Prefect
Subplot 8
Iris can certainly said to have a cold streak. While she became the surprise friend of Samantha Wood in her early days of Hogwarts, things could change fast now that James Potter is involved. Iris was a large part of the reason for James' abrupt breaking off of his secret relationship with Sam and now that she's got him to herself, she's not going to let go. Even though she can't publicly display her conquest just yet - which is why she has a vested interest in making sure Sam's relationship with Donavon stays strong.

Alexander Macmillan | 5th | Ravenclaw
Subplot 19
Alexander is a rather competitive boy who is determined to be the best. The only thorn in his side is his roommate Hugo Weasley who seems to be the only one in his year who can surpass him. This year he is determined to come out on top - perhaps even by foul means whether it's for being the best in grades or on the pitch.

Patrick McLaggen | 7th | Gryffindor | Chaser
Subplot 19
Though a tad arrogant about his abilities, Patrick makes up for it by his impressive ability on a broom and in how he can spin a tale. In combination with his looks, this has won him many female admirers over the last couple of years. And unbeknownst to him, he's about to become the prize in a three way competition. In between suddenly realizing that perhaps a relationship with someone not in his house would be an interesting adventure, he approaches Jacqueline Weasley on the best way to do it. Not to mention that she also seems like someone who would listen to him rant about the two of his roommates who are acting like idiots.

Elizabeth Nott | 7th | Slytherin
Subplot 18
With her aristocratic looks, it is no wonder that this girl has a great deal of pride. Though she likes to keep things appearing subtle, she is not afraid to go after what she wants - and in this case she wants Patrick McLaggen. Even if it's just for a quick fling and to pull one over on her roommate Guenevere. Since she managed to convince Patrick she needed help in the library, she has the current advantage over her competition for the boy's attention. Of course Elizabeth has never been good with rivals...

Fred Weasley | 5th | Gryffindor | Quidditch Player
Subplot 4, Subplot 12, Subplot 13
Like the uncle he was named for, Fred loves a good joke and a good prank even more. With his cousin Lily Potter, Fred aims to make life interesting for the inhabitants of the castle and to generally laugh his way through life. However he may notice that his cousin is getting a little too friendly with their favourite prank target and that his twin is behaving oddly. Assuming of course he doesn't get distracted by the Pitch drama...

Hugo Weasley | 5th | Ravenclaw
Subplot 19
Growing up in such a large family, it's no wonder that Hugo has a thirst to make his mark - being the first Weasley male to enter Ravenclaw in many generations is one way to do it. Which is why he can't stand it when Alexander Macmillan seems to be doing everything in his power to thwart Hugo's attempts to make his mark by being the best. The question now becomes is being the best worth making a deal with Lily and Fred?

Jacqueline Weasley | 7th | Hufflepuff | Prefect
Subplot 18
Though she is the twin of social butterfly Alina Weasley, Jacqueline is the more subdued and serious of the two. Not to mention she's more responsible and patient. These traits have given her the reputation of someone who has all the answers and is a fountain of advice, as well as a decent mediator. Unfortunately, Jacqueline's skills in this department may soon plummet with all the conflicts that have landed her in the middle. Like James and his strange feuds with Adrian Weasley and Donnovan Finnegann. Or suddenly realizing that three girls are using her advice to go after the same guy...who has started coming to her for advice too! (assigned face is Hayden Panetterie)

Samantha Wood | 7th | Gryffindor | Quidditch Captain
Subplot 8, Subplot 13
Samantha is easily the most athletic girl in her house, possibly even the entire school which is why it comes as no surprise that she was named Captain of the Gryffindor Squad in her fifth year. Naturally she's very competitive and drives her team into the ground to make them into the best possible squad ever. Unfortunately her ways have driven them to the brink and they are planning a strike under her very nose. Possibly including her new boyfriend Donovan... As if she didn't have enough to deal with, still in shock from James' sudden decision to call things off.
