Well.. Now is as good a time as any to start a log.
07/07/09 Evening 2 mile run to warm up Deck of Cards Hearts - Burpees Diamonds - Pushups Spades - 88lbs Sandbag push press Clubs - Jumping lunges Aces high, no jokers. Time - 32mins 26secs - Notes Ugh that hurt. Good erm.. fun. Worked through everything then got to the final card, what was it? Ace of spades *sigh* I'm gonna be sore tomorrow :) Good workout though, gonna do something pulling oriented soon, seen as that was heavily pushing. |

Yeah it did suck, my face was a funny shade of red for a while after ^_^ - we must be sick if we enjoy stuff like this.
I'd be honoured for the WoW ;) |

I did a DoC with jumping lunges recently and felt it in my glutes for days afterwards!
They say that the place you ache is a good indication of where your weaknesses are. So I guess more glute activation for me then.... |

Good observation, G...and great routine Neil...you've made an excellent first impression...it's always a special moment when I hit about 4 burpee cards in a row...just makes me wanna cry...or puke...

Afternoon 40 Gi Pullups Evening MMA Spar class 2 hours MMA sparring. -- Notes Felt good to be back sparring again, albeit only body shots it was still awesome. My triceps/hamstrings and shoulders all feel mashed to bits after yesterdays deck of cards but still went 110%. I love this shit! |

Rest Day Kind of! - Went to corner a team mate of mine who was fighting, the promoter walked up to me as soon as I got in the door and asked me to fight... I agreed, problem was.. he wanted me to fight a 15 year old! - I quickly disagreed! I just couldn't believe it, a 26 year old who's had 2 semi pro fights and 4 years BJJ experience against a 15 year old who's been training 6 months and get this (6kg lighter than me!) Unbelieveable. Turns out my fighters opponant didn't turn up anyway so we left.. proper shit hole of a venue anyway was like something out of Jet Li's unleashed. |

A 15 year old? You gotta be kidding me, he would most likely have been destroyed.
