Lucius was out in the courtyard, sitting on the edge of the fountain, broom leaning against him as he waited for Narcissa.
Oh, this would be funny.
Yes, he knew of her fear of heights.
No, he did not care.
Yes, he wanted to see her totally flip a shit over being so high up.

He brushed his hair back with a hand, before just tying it at the nape of his neck, looking around, then at a small pocketwatch.
"God damnit, where is she?" he muttered frusteratedly.

"I'm right here." Narcissa responded, grudgingly walking into the courtyard, a frown on her lips. She walked over to Lucius and sighed deeply, the wand that was in her hand slipping from her fingers by 'accident'.

Yeah. Right.

She bent over and picked up the broom, sighing deeply. "Lucius, I've told you a million times that I dispise flying. This isn't going to turn out very well, you know." she pouted slightly at him before taking a seat next to him.

"I don't like being in the air. Flying freaks me out." she sniffled, scratching her arm slightly and turning to face Lucius. Her eyes got all big, and she tilted her head. "Are you going to be up there with me?"

Oh, that look is going to be the death of me one of these days.
I fix her with a rather stoic stare, raising a brow that clearly asks, 'Are you joking?' before answering her.
"Of course. If you'd like, I'll even go on the same broom," this is said sarcasticly, of course, but I can't help it.

"Of course I'm going up there with you, Narcissa, don't be stupid," a rather pompous mutter escapes my lips as I stand, brushing myself off, handing her the broom, accio'ing my own, catching it effortlessly.

"You know what to do. Kick off, I'll be right below you."
With a fantastic view up that skirt, might I add.

"I'm not stupid." Narcissa protested, glaring at Lucius. "And if I bloody fall, it's your fault, I'm just letting you know." she added with a curt nod before getting up and glaring at Lucius again. She sniffed and mounted her broom easily, then hovered above the ground-just as he said. She had both her legs swung over one side instead of both of them over on each side.

Narcissa looked down to Lucius and sighed deeply, biting her lip. "I don't like it up here, Lucius." she warned him, her lower lip jutting out a bit. She wavered slightly and let out a small whimper, but quickly caught her balance and closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath.

"Bloody hell, I think I might puke." she muttered to herself, taking in more deep breaths by the moment. "LUCIUS MALFOY GET YOUR ASS UP HERE RIGHT NOW BEFORE I DO SOMETHING I'LL BLOODY REGRET!"

"You'd better not fucking puke, Narcissa Black!" I warned rather threateningly, following her up easily, slowing to a steady stop beside her.
"For christs sake, we're only ten or so feet off the ground, get over it," a mutter escapes, looking down with distaste, then back to her.
"Well, come on. Move. Forward, sideways, something, don't just float here."

I can't stand being idle in the air. Bugs the shit out of me. Doesn't scare me, just bothers me. I don't like the whole.. staying-in-one-place bit. Being idle pisses me off.
If I don't have something to do, my mood goes from bad, to worse;
and I doubt Narcissa needs me shouting at her due to agravation when she's already scared shitless.

Narcissa swallowed hard and shook her head. "I can't do it, Lucius." she said, her voice shaking. "I'll puke-I swear to God." she coughed slightly and looked over to him. He seemed to be getting angry-but she ignored it and looked back down to the ground, all the possible color that was in her face draining from it.

"Ten feet-or however the hell high we are- I don't care." she said. "I fucking hate heights. I told you this wouldn't work out right, but you wouldn't listen to me." she said, starting to get angry at Lucius now, a frown on her face again. "But noo, you just had to bloody teach me how to fly." she went to cross her arms over her chest but the broom wavered, and her hands flew back to the wood, clutching onto them tightly.

"You seem to be doing just fine from where I'm standing."

Reverse psychology.
Tell her she's doing fine, even though it's.. not fine to panic when you're over four feet off the ground. A fall from that high can be.. rather.. deadly-
Ah, nevermind, look. She's falling off her broom already.
I quickly reach a hand out to grab the handle the same time she does, glaring at her.
I'm tempted to ask something cruel, like, 'Do you REALLY want to fall and die during a LESSON?', but I keep my mouth shut.
"Really. You're doing fine." I say through clenched teeth.

"No I'm not." she said bitterly, glaring right back at him. "I can't do this." she sighed and placed one hand on her forehead, the other hand holding onto the broom tightly-her knuckles almost turning white. She let out a small whimper when the broom moved again and shut her eyes tightly, taking in deep breaths again.

"I want to go bloody down." she said, clenching her jaw and not opening her eyes. "I don't like it up here."
Narcissa sounded close to tears, her voice shaking-as well as her whole body. She opened her eyes again to look at Lucius and sighed weakly, placing her other hand back on the broom to take hold of it tightly.

Flying just wasn't her thing.

(BACK TO THIRD PERSON.)

Lucius rolled his eyes.
"NO."
..yeah, pretty blunt and rather mean, but no.
"You're not getting down until you learn to fly. This isn't flying. This is having a panic attack on a broom," he stated rather bluntly.
"I refuse to let you down. Don't make me charm the broom into doing so, either." he threatened. "Follow me, alright?"
He moved forward, slowly, comming to a halt and turning to face her.
"See? Not so hard."
He might've sounded nuturing and caring, but his patience was slowly wearing.

Narcissa glared slightly and took in a deep breath before following Lucius slowly. She glowered when Lucius stopped abruptly and looked at her.
"No." she muttered, raising one eyebrow. She paused for a moment and then shook her head-obviously a bit more calmer. She blinked at Lucius and then scowled.

"You really wouldn't charm the broom, would you?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. She wavered a bit on the broom and bit her lip, gaining her balance once more, then sighed deeply.

"Of course I would," Lucius answered nonchalantly. "Now a bit faster, up."

He demonstrated, going a bit faster, up.
"Well, a little faster than that. Come on, before it gets too dark. I don't want a broom stick handle to the groin.." he muttered frusteratedly, shifting on his broom uncomfortably.
