The land was painted a deep golden color as it laid between fields of thin wheat. A shadow scoured figure appear, it's deep honey color eyes slinted against the burning sun. The figure was a cat, by the name of HidingDark, but right now, he really didn't look like he was hiding. His ebony coat shimmered from being freshly groomed, and his small stub of a tail flickered with the flys, as they landed on him. He lazyly stalked over to a rusty tractor, sighing he leaped upon it, and gave his paw a quick lick. It was blissful right now, he stretched out and yawned, and selected a spot on the tractor that would give him the most warmth of the sun. Soon, he was resting, and almost purring.

Deep, inside his mind, a dream began to boil...

In his dream, a odd looking cat...or he thought it was a cat appeared before him. He couldn't really tell what this cat was saying, but he could feel what this cat was saying. It was almost surreal, like he was actually in the dream. Finally, after the cat stood there for what seemed like hours, still mubbling on. HidingDark caught a word that he said. Clan. Clan Clan Clan...it had some many meanings, but the one meaning he knew was Thunderclan...or anyone of the other clans of cats. Just the thought of that made him wake up, and then clumsly fall of the tractor, his body bringing of dust clouds. Embrassed, he looked around to see if any other creature was watching him. No one was.

Licking his pelt that was covered with dust, he decided to take a walk into the untended wheat field. The pale stalks of wheat brushed his thick fur, and just for fun, he began leaping along in the wheat field like a kit. But, he didn't care...he just needed some alone time, to figure out what his dream was suppose to mean...a sudden movement made his long tail puff up. A slender cat appeared...right in front of him. All he could was let out a hiss.
