Just wandering, a brand new shiny thread!

[Yarrowpaw]

Yarrowpaw shuffled through the sand. Things had been becoming fairly chaotic back at the camp. Rouge attacks threats, everthing possible including death. "I just need to think," she muttered, even though there was no one there. "How can Thunderclan stay strong when we stand alone. Alone with no one there to help our struggle." A soft warm breze gently ruffled her fur. and a voice seemed to say "you are not alone". Yarrowpaw looked up. "Of course." she thought "StarClan will alway be with us." she thought. "or will they?"

[Froststorm]

Larksong took a deep breath, her eyes narrowed contentedly as she paded through the forest of ThunderClan territory. It was nice to be away from the nursury for awhile, and she was extremely grateful for the much needed break from watching Pebblekit and the others. As she approached the Sandy Hollow, she realized that they would soon be apprentices themselves. How time flies. she mused silently. She came to a stop as she reached the outer edge of the training clearing and sat down, letting her gaze stray to the young apprentice.

[Yarrowpaw]

Yarrowpaw turned around to face Larksong. "Taking a break form the kits?" she asked playfuly.
Then her tone saddened. "I was just thinking." she said. "About all of this chaos, will the forest ever be restored to the peaceful place it once was? what will happen to our kits if we are destroyed." She shuddered at the thought of some of their kits in the hands of the traiotors.

Hawkkit tracked Yarrowpaw all the way from camp, and saw her stop here. He felt curious, and pounced on Yarrowpaw.
"Hi Yarrowpaw!" he greeted, "what you you doing here?"
Yarrowpaw had always been special to Hawkkit since he met her

He turned to Larksong, "Hi Larksong!" he greeted as cheerfully.
"What's going on here?" he asked them both.

[Froststorm]

Larksong let out a soft mrowww of laughter at the kit's enthusiasm. Sobering a bit, she turned back to Yarrowpaw. "Indeed. I don't believe the forest will ever be the same."

[Yarrowpaw]

Yarrowpaw turned a playful eye on the soon to be apprentice. "Soon to be if the we mannage to throw off the rouges." she muttered lowly. "Oh Larksong I just don't know what to do! All this mess seems to be destroying the very thing cats for thousands of generations have been working to acheve. But they don't care." she added jaw clenched. Trying to turn on the cheerfulness agains she added to Hawkkit. "If you like we could go hunting together sometime today."

[Froststorm]

Larksong let out a sigh. "They will not succeed." She mewed, hoping that she sounded more confident than she felt. Her ears lowered slihglty in worry at Yarrowpaw's suggestion to go hunting with Hawkkit. "Yarrowpaw, I don't think it's such a good idea for Hawkkit to go hunting before he has even had any training."

[Yarrowpaw]

Yarrowpaw hung her head. "I guess your right, I just wasn't thinking. Maybe back to the camp would be a bettter idea, you shoudn't be out here in the first place anyway!" she said softly to Hawkkit. Then turning to Larksong her meow quavered " I hope that your idea's are true. If they did succed what would become of us? We would either be driven off the land that we have called our home for generations. Or we would be killed fighting for our clan. Either path leads to suffering but he queston is...which one will we choose when confronted?"

[Froststorm]

Larksong nodded. "Hawkkit, I think it's best you head back to camp." She mewed before turning back to Yarrowpaw. "I think it would be best that you not worry about things for a moment." She mewed, her eyes glowing warmly. "The weight of the world doesn't rest solely on you're shoulders, Yarrowpaw." Her tail tip flicked slightly.

[Yarrowpaw]

Yarrowpaw nodded . "of course not, I get too caught up in these matters." She turned to Halkkit (who hasn't been posting) with a straigned smile. "Let's go back to the camp. Maybe do someting fun. I haven't played for awhile." Nudging the kit she headed back through the trees.

Bic: Larksong let her tail curl into a feeble smile as the two young cats shuffled away. She let out a sigh and got her her paws, shaking her fur of the dust that now determinedly clung to it. The apprentice was very intelligent for her age, and her words had deeply disturbed the sandy-brown queen. What if Yarrowpaw was right? Her mind deeply engorged in these thoughts, she quietly made her way through the forest and back toward Thunderclan camp.

Before intirely disapearing into the forest Yarrowpaw called out to Larksong. "WOuld YOU like to go hunting sometiime? The clan can always use extra freash kill especialy in times like these. Besides I could use the help of a Warrior. My mentor hasn't taught me anything sense 3 moons ago and I might need a little brushing up." she added hopefuly twords Larksong.

[Froststorm]

Larksong paused and glanced back at the apprentice. "Of course!" She called back. "My kits will be apprentices soon as well, and I'll be able to help you out then."

[Yarrowpaw]

"Then this shall end on a happier note." she called happily (ooc: make new thread ? )
Then turning back to Halkkit she nudged him gentely back twords the camp. "Come one let's go back to camp, it's safer there, and soon to be apprentice or not you can't defent yourself from rouges." Then galloping twords the camp she called out "Catch me if you can!"
