Here is a man who was born a leader but he may not be as well-equipped to manage a group as people would like to believe he is. He's a rather flighty guy, and this can only be matched with the personality of his uncle (the former alpha of seven years) who abruptly disappeared once the Nazis began to occupy the island of Wulfschild. No one knows why, however by pack law it is acknowledged that the rank is given to the next available relative (stemming from a belief that the same good qualities of the old can be found in the successor ). Only Lleonard is anything but his uncle, and he's unsure if he would be the proper decision-maker in this time of turmoil, confusion, and destruction. An excellent warrior he is, yes, but he's more of a maverick than an alpha with the pack in mind. No one knows how solemnly he questions whether he should stay within his position or leave it up to the rest of pack to duke it out. Aged 27 to 33.
Otherwise known as the den mother for her soothing tone and remarkable care and concern for others -- there is no contest as to why Battista was and always has been the most respected wolf in the pack over the alphas. Yes, the alphas; six alphas and twenty strong years later, Battista has been the only beta much of the pack has known. She stood behind every alpha and every situation, and she knows far more about the history than many others. This woman is everyone's confidante, and never in her life has she thought of leading someone astray or leaving them out for the proverbial wolves to feast. Yet her status comes with consequences. When the previous alpha left some looked to her for support, but in order to maintain the natural order of law she kept within her rank. However, to be honest, it's not like she hasn't thought of stepping down anyway. Twenty years has been much time to lead, and half of it she has spent alone in the 'beta' title. She's earnest about her love for the pack, and her only conflict will be not telling them soon enough before her position calls for action and she's expected to make a move. All she wanted to do was retire and then a damn war happened. Well, what can you do? The idea of it all is too stressful and they need younger blood to fill the veins of the Wulfschild pack. Now if only she and Lleonard only knew what one another was thinking... Aged 42-46Fixed PB
Hodges was a pilot way back when. As an American he made it his duty to learn the geographical nature of the world so he could conquer it. In a fun way, of course, he's just the guy who takes advantage of any inquisitive nature he might have and he made use of it through travel. He began working for a touring company for experience shortly after graduating a university and when he got there he decided to stay in England to stay as close to Europe as possible. There he became the understudy of a pilot, but Hodges can be a little too risky at times and he crash landed into Wulfschild. He was hurt, alright, but little ol' Lior discovered his wounded body and decided to do what she knew best. Ever since then Hodges has been here for two to three years and you can only imagine his surprise when he discovered there were werewolves here just like himself. He'd met a few but he had never seen so many in one place. The pack welcomed him openly, and as ambitious and do-it-yourself as he is, at the highest point of his health he sought to be a warrior. Now, Hodges isn't the most serious guy you'll ever know but he's got a lot of heart in him. He earned his rank and has become one among them, finding himself as one of the most productive members to look forward to (in speaking as well). He owes "a bunch of hand-picked flowers", as he would say, to Lior. And oh what a typical small-town American guy he is. Aged 25 to 27.
Every group deserves its uncouth rebel, doesn't it? Well, that isn't the French gentleman Bertillon but it's how everyone sees him. He's relatively new here, and he's known from hearsay about the Wulfschild pack for many years. It's just that his family was disinterested in integrating with other werewolves, but Bertillon has always been a pack man. It's in his blood. However, when he arrived he did it with a bang and all the while stepped on the former Alpha's toes. He mistook them for soldiers, as he had enlisted and purposely disappeared from his unit, and understood their questioning as a threat to his betrayal of the country's military honor. Things were settled by Battista, but most of everyone knows about him and feel he may not be a very good guy. Everything he does, they see it as done wrong. His fight to a warrior position was even more brutal than most had seen and that raised a lot of inquiry about his stable-mindedness. The only thing he has ever done right is his silent attraction to Jacosova; the amount of help he's given her, and protection. He would die before he allowed the Nazi bastards take her. Everyone senses their terror, and no one has done anything about it... yet. Aged 20 to 24
Never having left Wulfschild since her birth, Lior is almost an impressionable young lady when it comes to foreigners. At times she is too trusting of visitors, and aims to never leave a bad impression on those she meets for the first time. It also seems that the ability to aid runs through her blood as much as the werewolf gene; Lior is quite possibly the best healer that has been born into the pack yet. She was the protégé of the eldest healer before he died, and most of her techniques have been influenced by his. She took the role very seriously and became quite studied in both the scientific and spiritual natures of healing. It's an unspoken rule that everyone have Lior's safety in their best interest because not only is she the most efficient healer, but she was also raised by the pack from her birth. Her parents stopped being there for her at one point, and when the time came everyone stepped up. She loves Hodges mostly, and considers him to be her brother. Aged 17Fixed PB
The Nazi affinity; hearing the catcalls and the baying of the hounds of war has been Jacosova's life the minute German boots settled on Wulfschild soil. They took over her pub, her place of employment and artistic sanctuary. The citizens realize how the rough texture of her voice which has made her famous has been diminished to nothing more than a short, sweet whisper. Perhaps a mistake, as the sound has now been made heady to those perverted men and boys a long way from their innocence. The establishment was one of the first places to be overrun, and ever since she's sang with concern and by nervous fear a little too carefully which in turns makes the Nazis harass her even more. Jacosova's life is a terrible one to live, even if she has been the envy of the town and rolemodel of beauty and class. Some believe she should embrace her gift of natural affability from the soldiers, but if only they knew how much her heartaches. She is now never seen without some kind of bodyguard, and for her safety they have spread rumors that she will go to America to sing and be famous. Her well-being is required and she must be watched at all times. Yet, like all good things, this has backfired - they say there is a plan to take her away and have her sing for the great fuhrer instead.
