LAURA RAYE CARMICHAEL

STRAIGHT. GENTLE. LOYAL. DETERMINED. DAINTY. OLD-FASHIONED.

Laura is an old-fashioned artist living in Palm Ridge, and she takes her life in a very soft manner. Just listen to Julia Marcell's music, and you can imagine the way she lives and breathes. Laura is one of the 'old souls' that you can rarely see today; the soft, vignetted view she sees through is definitely a different kind of gentility.

So, it'll be no surprise to you that she is

♣ a virgin

♣ not saving herself for marriage, but might as well be

♣ soft-spoken

♣ and she easily trusts people.

So, on terms of lovers, Laura, although she seems as if she has no backbone, will not tolerate an asshole or someone who thinks they can walk all over her. She does, however, crave the over-romanticized lover that loves her and her alone, and treats her like the light of their life. She does not try and change people, so, she will take them as they are, for she believes love is unwavering and is blind to personality, race, gender, etc. even if she is straight.

With friends, Laura does not try to change or judge people. She is very accepting, unless you go about killing people or eating babies. Eating babies may get you a bit of a low rating in her head, and maybe a call from the cops. But in all seriousness, she is loyal to people she deems 'friends', and would never try to change them for the world.

Well, not everyone can love you, right? Enemies could be annoyed with her cheery outlook, her soft demeanor, who knows. Obviously Sierra is getting a tad bit lazy. But, it is up to you. (:

I have Riley here. He currently lacks a plot page of his own though. So yeah. This might be long and pointlessly ramble-y. Sorry.

Riley is an eternal optimist and nice to everyone he meets, really. He's always helping people, even if he doesn't know them. Riley'll bend over backwards to help pretty much anyone who needs it. He's constantly smiling and happy and stuff too, even when tending to his drug addict sister. That's not exactly something he shares about too much though.

Riley is really shy, though, despite all the time helping people. Like borderline lacking social skills kind of shy. He's landed in the friend zone for every girl he's ever had an interest, so far. So he hasn't really kissed a girl since he was in fourth grade, never mind anything more than that.

I'd like to point out I forgot where I was going with this, but 'tis no reason to stop.

Riley be a chef. When he's not working, helping his sister, or reading something, he... well... that kind of makes up his life.

So yeah. Iunno. I think he'd like her. In the friendly, if not more.

I think Riley and Laura would be totally adorable, as friends or more. She's shy, perhaps not as much as him, but I think she could help him balance out the shyness, what with her personality. I think his optimism and happy demeanor will definitely attract Laura, in a friendly manner or not. She's very sweet in her own way, as well, and I think they would get along just fine.

And don't worry, it wasn't pointless. <3 I thought it was cute <3

He gets slightly less shy once he gets to know someone, but she is indeed a female, so that'd take a little longer compared to a male. She's attractive too, so that wouldn't make it any faster. He'd try though, whether they go the friend route or something more.
