Hawkfeather crouched silently, his tabby coat hidden perfectly in the tall amber grass of the plain. His gaze was fixed upon a rather large field mouse that sat gnawing on a seed a few tail-lengths in front of him. He took a pawstep forward, his weight shifted to his upper body so the mouse wouldn't sense him. His eyes narrowed to mere slits, his whiskers twitched slightly, and he launched forward to finish the prey off in a single bite. Holding the mouse tightly in his jaws, Hawkfeather made his way back to his collection of burried prey that wasn't too far off. He glanced around and wondered if the strong scent of the prey was concealing the smell of cats nearby...

"Alright." He grunted, getting to his paws. "But don't you think it would just be easier to just start taking our catch back to camp rather than moving it all over the place?" He got to his paws. "There are less rabbits about..." He commented, glancing around the landscape, "Probably because of the rain."
