The four teams that move on from CONCACAF all but set now:
Tonight's results - USA 2-1 El Sal; Honduras 4-1 T&T and Mex 3-0 Costa Rica. Standings - Honduras 13 USA 13 Costa Rica 12 -------------- Mexico 12 -------------- El Sal 5 T&T 5 Everyone has played seven of 10. Any of the four teams at the top will clinch no worse than the playoff spot with a win in the next round and the two on 13 only need a draw. El Salvador and T&T have to win out to have a hope. |

I'm betting pissed even more after each and every Portugal game during qualifying. They're running through teams like the dame globetrotters execept they can;t finish worth shit. Now in 4th with 3 games remaining they need to beat Hungary twice and hope that Sweden doesn;t go on a tear intheir final 3. It's tight for the spots but still this team is underachieving big time right now.

Don't worry, somehow, Scotland will find a way to finish second. Were (us Scots) all happy and then we'll draw Portugal for the playoff spot. This post has been edited by toronto red on Sep 8 2009, 11:00 AM |

there fucking terrible. I don't think I ever seen a team blast shots 10 feet over the net from 12 to 15 yards from goal so many times. This post has been edited by huginho on Sep 8 2009, 11:06 AM |
