What a week for the Jambos!
That's Heart of Midlothian (or Hearts) to you non-SPL viewers. First off Vladimir Romanov (majority shareholder) and the weird "stress induced illness" by the Lithuanian Head coach. then Mr. Romanov's claim that he will sell "all players to Kilmarnock or whoever wants them" if they didn't win last weekend's match against lowly Dunfermline Athletic. They went on to draw 1-1. to captain Steven Pressley flanked by young Craig Gordon and... Hartley I think it was, basically saying the team was in turmoil, and the return of the head coach would not solve anything. Basically saying the last 2 years have been very trying times... despite the glory of breaking the Old Firm 1-2. to today's utter Meltdown in the last 6-7 minutes. First conceding the tying goal in the 85th (granted it could have honestly happened despite all) then poor Craig Gordon's own goal (You really do have to see this goal) in the dying seconds of the match. Gordon tried to snatch the ball slowly going towards the net, he doesn't grip it tightly enough and the ball squeezes out and is propelled into the net. Wow... I mean they kept things together last year after their managerial revolving door, but two years in a row? And it doesn't look to be anywhere from finished. |

as much as I don't like the Jam Farts AKA mini huns, it's pretty sad to see them in turmoil like this. with one exception, I cheer for any scottish team that makes it into europe and it's nice to see other teams doing well in the SPL as well.
Things are certainly strange in edinburgh at the moment, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. the worst part of all is that it doesn't look like any of this is going to be remedied any time soon. ps. with the win on the weekend, paddypower paid out on bets for celtic to win the league! pss. anyone catch strachans celebration at the goal (and taunting of hartley?) t'was brilliant! |
