Wish I could be at the match today, but can't make it.
That being said, I swung by Nick's Pizza with a few others after the match on Wednesday and we were promised that they won't run out of 50 today. In fact they had already restocked by the end of the match for us. Enjoy!  |

Toronto FC @torontofc
#TorontoFC set to debut Eckersley-O'Dea partnership at centre back. Story & video: http://bit.ly/Owmvni .. #TFC #MLS Okay so TFC tweets the above. Don't get me wrong, I love having Henry at right back, but where does this leave Cann? Eck has been fine in the mid but I like him on the right, where he has a lot additionally to offer imho. 4:10? The place is going to be empty. They'll be lucky if there are a thousand people in the stadium at that time. They'd do better to do it at the half. |

I'm not sold on Henry at RB. I'd much rather see Eckersley back in that role with Cann/Henry/Dicoy/Emory/Harden fighting it out for the second CB position/substitutes role. I am still of the feeling that Mariner is going to keep Ecks in the CB role to better justify his overspending on the man. |

But then they'd have to cut the half drunk guys dribbling the ball and doing push ups to win a TFC jersey! All joking aside, I agree Dave. This would be great- especially if they had the girls somehow involved in the Timbits game. Hey, that's not a bad idea. QUICK someone Tweet Paul! It's not too late to change it! |

Yup, if they really want to honour them, do it at 4:29 not 4:10.

Well, that was ugly. Not sure where the crowd was (maybe at Tiny Tom's?). The east side looked pretty empty.
First time I've seen a red card rescinded; ref must've been colour-blind and thought he pulled out a yellow. Games like this make me REALLY miss Koev's :( |

We still suck, only difference is now, under Mariner, we suck AND we play easily the ugliest most boring football I've ever seen.
I'll give Mariner until end of the season to maybe see some improvement, but if not, I want him out. I just cant watch this anymore. This post has been edited by CEO_RedGrad on Aug 18 2012, 06:18 PM |
