No, that one spamam made the phalanx of spam disharmonious. It immediately jumped out when I scrolled through it. It's quite disquieting. Looking at it gives me a headache: (Posted Image) This post has been edited by SSK on Apr 4 2012, 12:29 AM |

Well Done Lattes! You managed to post two of the most asinine polls I've seen in some time. Impressive, as you've now leapt over Tyler and cemented yourself as possibly the most annoying poster we've had here in some time. After seeing your picture I figured there was no way you could possibly be as dumb as you look. Seems as though I was cruelly mistaken. :o Ever consider maybe laying off the sauce? I'm assuming you're completely hammered when you’re crafting these polls of intrigue, I mean there’s no way you’d do this if you were sober and lucid. I guess the only bright side of this unfortunate episode is the prospect of eventually being able to make a poll where we can all vote on your most unintelligible polls/posts! Now THAT my friend will be a cracking survey! :campione: BTW, this is part 2 of your initiation....EZ on the angst big fella ;) |

Indeed. Part 3 involves the cessation of idiotic polls, open questions, and talking points that have been exhaustively debated in 2008. It's the trickiest phase, and has the highest attrition rate. |

Here's me:
I grew up playing soccer (and every other sport I could throw my little 5'5" frame at). I learned a lot from it. One of the things I learned was that competition gives us a context in which to test ourselves, to learn how to struggle and fight and achieve, with the other team playing the role of "the challenge". I learned to respect every opponent because of this way of looking at sport, to be grateful to them for standing in and representing an obstacle in the best way they could. It's one of the reasons why the post-game handshake means so much to me. When I shake your hand after the game, I am genuinely thanking you for fighting me as hard as you could, for helping me grow as a man. So I have a hard time truly hating any team, even the ones who fight dirty. Life 'aint fair, or pretty, or nice. It wil dive at you with its cleats up 9 times out of 10. And outside of real war, sport is the closest forum most of us will ever have in which to consistently test ourselves, to learn who we are and who we can be in the face of long odds, gritty opposition, certain victory and certain defeat. That being said, we also bring who we are onto the field with us. How a man carries himself in a match reflects a real version of himself, that version which rarely sees the light of day, more often being tied up with his private struggles than his daily interactions. So i'm far more likely to judge individual players on the merits of their game, their respect for fair play and their commitment to footballing culture and craft than I am to roughly hate this team or that. At the end of the day, TFC has more in common with every other club in MLS than they will ever have distinguishing them. Same goes for U-Sector and other supporters groups. Same goes for you and me. Without an opponent, competition has no meaning. Without all of you, I'm some guy dribbling a football made of twigs on an empty planet. |

Cough... WRONG!!!!! You think TFC has more in common with Columbus than differences?? That's clearly a debatable statement. Feel how you like, but for me I enjoy hating other teams. Beating a team I hate, or seeing a team I hate lose is equally as gratifying at seeing my team win. But maybe that's just me. For example, Italy getting knocked out of the World Cup, was amazing! (sorry Italy fans, but I hate your soccer team!) Was equally, but no more happy seeing Spain win the cup. So you see, the hate brings meaning to games that I otherwise wouldnt care about..thus more interesting soccer. |

I hate the Crew. Why? It's personal. I've been attacked by Bill fucking Archer 30 times and some cop stick a tazer in my ribs and tell me she'd love to squeeze the trigger so I should just give her a reason.
I've had good interactions with Crew fans since, but it's hard to get past that. Fuck em and their redneck, anti-Canadian, fratboy cunt ways. No, fuck them. If they moved from Columbus tomorrow I'd celebrate. I want them to suffer. I want them to cry. I want them to realize how Goddamn retarded they act -- MASSIVE? What the fuck is that??? It was supposed to be ironic, but 3/4 of them are too stupid to get that and they actually believe they are a "massive" club. The 1/4 that gets it, doesn't have the wherewithal to shut it down. God they are idiots. And the t-shirts? Who the fuck wears matching "hooligan" t-shirts? I'm also not fond of Vancouver, although I like about 50% of the Southsiders. They're Vs. They get it, but they do piss me off because they are a bit too obsessed with being big. Blue Patch Boys (wait, what?). I was talking with one of their oldboys last week. He was telling me about the divisions they are having. About how some of the USL guys are getting sick of trying to be everything to everyone. I told him that I was having a laugh at how they used to talk on their boards about how they couldn't let themselves become "another U-Sector." He admitted he was one of those guys. Anyway... Yeah, the rest of their petty little fans can eat me. So damn bitter last year. So damn petty. And, that's not even talking about Lord Bob. Montreal...meh. No, really, meh. I like beating them and the UM02 are amusing on a pathetic level, but...meh. I can't hate the city of Montreal. I will enjoy this weekend though. So, yeah. Columbus. Fuck 'em. I know I'm suposed to pretend not to care, but they will always be the ones I most want to kill. This post has been edited by SweetOwnGoal on Apr 5 2012, 02:43 AM |
