This guy is 34 about to turn 35. Not really the youth that one desires on a club building a system but may be based more on mentorship, leadership and experience on the team. Interestingly, I would speculate that this is not a Marriner connection but a direct result of De Klerk taking control of Scouting/acquisition. |

So who is pulling this level of player out of his hat.....I stick to my speculative guns and say Bob de Klerk. Winter is not getting fired soon. He is just beginning to reinforce the squad and begin stamping with the ideology. For Marriner, I consider this to be a demotion. To De Klerk, a promotion. C'mon Winter, take that Cochrane guy out also. :shiteatinggrin: |

Gai Assulin. Can play as an AM or a winger. Has been in the system for both Barcelona and Manchester City (most recently). Out of contract. He looks extremely promising. Don't know how much he'd cost but he was on loan in the Championship this year and is now out of a contract.
