Unfortunately (for both us and him) he is. And now he has a whopping 4 caps to his credit since 2010 and is definitely not in the running to be a starter for the US first team anytime soon. |

You are not cap tied to a country until you play in an official FiFA sanctioned match. That means WCQ, WC, Confederations cup or Gold cup. Freindlies (ie FIFA A-Matches) dont count for purposes of cap tying players to a country. They count as caps but not official caps. So as far as i know, he could still switch and suit up for Canada. has never played in WcQ, Gc, Confed cup nor Wc so he could still switch? PS.: the olympics dont count either. Jonathan deGuzman played for Holland and, if he could get his cnd passport back, he could switch and play for canada. This post has been edited by Free kick on Aug 22 2012, 09:33 PM |

this kid is a lying sack of shit that got his head turned by the USSF and perhaps by some sleazy agent whispering sweet nothings into his empty head and he did not have the common sense to know any different.
If he wanted to play for Canada he would have done so by now. So the the Jono-de Guzman's, Bunbury's, Hoilett's and the like I say the door is open but you have to want to come through it.... fuck going to them cap in hand asking them to come to play for the greatest country on earth. If they want to then they can come ON OUR FUCKING TERMS! |

never resort to this for ANYone else either, but... a collision with... Bill Gaudette (yes, that former Puerto Rico keeper)! I wish I had some of Jambo's expressions at the tip of my tongue right now, because I know he'd come up with something clever, but all I can think of to say right now is "THAT collision is priceless!" :ph43r:  |

Just too bad that Lenhart somehow couldn't have been in that collision, so that there would have been a critical mass explosion of pus, vomit, anal leakage and biblical douchebaggery. I don't wish injuries on football players as a rule, no matter how slimy they may be (*cough*Mattocks*cough*), but in this case, I'll hold the door and tip my cap for karma. |

I wish for a billion dollars quite regularly, and I wish we'd win the league again with every breath I churn. As a result of my track record of success, I don't hesitate to wish harm on the enemy.
Gary Neville is now happily retired and a celebrated commentator. Clearly the wish thing doesn't have any bearing, but it's a spoonful of sugar to help the maddening frustration of supporting these clubs go down. Then again, I recall someone at Giants stadium saying "I wish that Josey Altidore would fuck right off" and he did, so... |
