This is cool. Toronto FC's 2009 award winners will be announced at the 90th Minute Party on November 12th. Supporters will be able to see presentations to the MVP, Golden Boot winner, Defender of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year.

There are also three awards that we, the loyal supporters, are being asked to vote for: Rookie of the Year, Unsung Hero and the Daily KENO Goal of the Year.

Here's where to cast your votes:

http://www.surveyconsole.com/console/TakeSurvey?id=608063

BTW, it's limited to one vote per person (dammit!).

Voted for Amado's goal even though I think OBW and Barrett's goals were actually nicer. Amado's meant more than all of them combined.

Who were your Rookie and Unsung Hero votes? FYI, I also voted for Amado's goal for exactly the same reason.

I voted Frei for ROY and Attakora for Unsung Hero.

Unsung Hero votes?

Chad Barret.

His goal won us our first ever trophy. No one seems to remember that.

ROY - Frei (a no-brainer)

UNSUNG - Cronin (solid and stable - he'll get better but I feel he was often overlooked)

GOTY - O'Brien not because of the fine finish but because it was the best "team" goal of the year.

Frei, Nana, and then O'Brien White's goal, although it was a tough choice between that and Barrett's

Although I thought it was a bit weird having Nana in the "Unsung Hero" section. I thought everyone was aware of how good he was this year?

I'm sure they did, but Nana might not have gotten the same amount of kudos that Cronin did for it.

ROY - Stefan Frei
Unsung - Sam Cronin
Goal - Chad Barrett's

Forget about the rest of his season or what people think of him - as an individual goal, his was the best. But I agree that White's was the best "team" goal. And certainly the most brilliant combination of cheeky little moves (DeRo's through ball was my favourite assist all season). For me it was between O'Brien White and Chad Barrett.

It's true, though, that it depends on whether or not you count what each goal "meant" to you, or to the team.
