They must be huge Spurs fans because that is the only match "off"....I guess if your whole world revolves around WHL that could be taken as the "EPL" being cancelled.

BTW WTF Joey Barton.......gets involved with Arsenal striker because he thinks he is faking an injury.....during the scuffle (caused by him dragging the Arsenal player from the ground) he feels a wee slap on the side of his head then goes down like someone stuffed a grenade down his throat.....causing the Arsenal player to see a Red Card.....guys like him make me furious...all tough and about honour....until it suits them to fake injury themselves!

I'm actually a bit sick of drama queens like Steve Banyard and Craig Forrest moaning about Barton. Alex Song stamped on Barton's leg and the officials all missed it. I hope Song gets a ban from the FA, dirty bastard. Then Gervinho with one of the worst dives in Arsenal's illustrious aquatic history, he should have been the one getting the slap. Barton certainly doesn't cover himself with glory, going down after the lovetap, but as the officials were busy imitating the 3 blind mice all match, perhaps he felt they needed the help.

No fan of Barton's, but the prissy moaning from the commentary types just seems a bit too convenient.

Hopefully Song suffers some harsh discipline, yes.

Yes, the commentators were over the top.....just waiting for Barton's top to blow.

But.......

I actually have more time for pure divers....guys who don't hide what they are and everyone can deal with it....than for guys like Barton who act all tough, get mad at guys for diving, make a big show of the "act with honour" attitude, then (quite regularly) roll around clutching body parts for no apparent reason.

I can handle either type of player....but Bartonesque hypocrisy just drives me nuts.

Can't abide divers at all. I'm hearing some support for Barton out there, and while I can't stand the sociopathic shit, I understand where it is coming from.

Well, if it is divers we dislike, here is a quote from Mr. Barton's tweets:

"I went down easy, no doubt. Still, can't raise your hands. Referee got it right."

On a different topic.....any idea why WBA and Man U are wearing black armbands today?

EDIT.....turns out the armbands are to respect 3 people killed in hit and run incident(s) in Birmingham whilst protecting their property during the riots.
