So SAF has confirmed that Shrek put in a second transfer request eh?

Any thoughts on Forever Blue's departure this summer?  Where do we think he'll end up?  The media seems certain it's Germany, but I don't think Thailand should be ruled out so hastily.

Bayern or PSG, with the good possibility he stays.

I'd be pretty surprised to see him end up at Bayern. He doesn't strike me as the Pep type.

Yeah chunky scouse lad doesn't fit the bill of what Pep seems to like, but everything I've heard has been saying if he goes it'll most likely be Bayern.

I think Rooney wants to play CF, that's why he is unhappy at United.

He's leaving alot of money at United, and would not get much more at Chelsea or City.

I think he want's to stay in England as his first choice, I just dont see him fitting into a French or Spanish locker room, though I'm not sure on this point. And I am sure his wife would rather live in London than Manchester.

If he wants to play CF and get alot of money, and doesnt mind having a crazy owner sacking managers twice a year, then I think he will go to Chelsea.

If he wants to play CF in a team with alot of young promising British players at a stable club that takes care of its players, but make less coin, then I could see him joining Arsenal.

I would say 70% he goes to Chelsea
15% PSG
10% Arsenal
5% City

2 years left on the contract. He's not being sold in England.

Do you follow Arsenal? Look at Wenger's signings over his career. At what point do you think he'd sign Rooney?

I fail to see how him having 2 years left means he cant be sold in England...

Wenger has been restricting spending since move to the stadium...but he has been slowly increasing spending on transfers now that the debt is paid down, and I think that will continue over the next couple of years with the new sponsorship deals.

I was explaining to the chick the other day how this man's twilight years have changed him. He's a whole different entity these days, no doubt. He's found a number of ways to endear himself to me lately (retiring being a HUGE one  ) and I can't help but feel unconfrtable with it sometimes. But when he says things like this, I can't help but like him a bit.

QUOTE
"He's absolutely a player I admire.  He's the epitome of a loyal, dedicated player who Liverpool have been lucky to have for more than a decade.  He's been a bedrock of their defensive qualities for years and years.

"I loved him. He's a fantastic example for any young lad that wants to play the game. He's been a really, really good professional.

"He's absolutely the type of player a manager wants. I used to rave about Brucie [Steve Bruce] and the nine years he had with us, and I think Jamie Carragher is that exact same mould - can play with injuries, gets knocked about and gets back up, hardly misses a game.  You're lucky to have players like that. I was lucky to have Steve Bruce and he is the same type of player. A fantastic player."

SAF's bit on Carra during the Carragher documentary.

He loved him. Hear that?

Playing Barry

If you think Barry is the problem you should probably learn what his role is and reflect a bit.
