I mean Vancouver isn't that bad because they're gone in a year anyway but this has disaster written all over it for Montreal. They need MLS now, and Garber knows it. "OK Saputo, you didn't like $40 million? OK the new fee is $60 million. Fuck you." -Don Garber at learning the Impact are up shits creek.

We all know USL is run about as fly-by-night as anything, but for years it was the highest level of the game any of us had access to. The fact that it's become so petty and splintered has doom written all over it.

Surely we are either automatically in, or it's not between them, us, and all of the CSL teams that would technically be considered much more professional sides than 2 clubs currently not in competition. Yeah, thats the big question? Doesn't FIFA or Concacaf have to approve or sanction the clubs that play in CCL. And isn't that based on teh league or competition that they play in?

So if you ARE going to exclude CSL teams bases on set criteria, then how can you aprove clubs at the drop of a hat, that are now part of a new league.

Essentially, yes. Since the USL is primarily an American league, the new league the FOA wants to form would need approval from first the USSF and then FIFA.

Not that the USL ever gave two shits about FIFA to begin with.
