Rock the Pitch is saying they can do one girl at a time, but she'll have to be on the field all the time. Anybody know a girl with that kind of endurance?
...wish I did... Seriously, though. Any females interested? |

Actually, I applaud Rock the Pitch's stamina. Can the girl play keeper? That way she can be on the entire time. |

The Rock the Pitch Charity Soccer Tournament 2012 Who: Athletes for Africa What: The Rock the Pitch Charity Soccer Tournament Where: Lamport Stadium 1151 King St. West (at Jefferson Avenue) Toronto, Ontario When: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Why: To use the power and profile of sports to promote global citizenship and empower the next generation of youth in Africa. Contact: Eva Salinas (p) 416-686-1533 © 647-781-5737 events@athletesforafrica.com Game Day (1) Arrival Players are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for registration. The facility entrance is located on the west-facing side of the stadium, just north of the parking lot. There will be a registration table at the entrance where players will be asked to sign a waiver. Team captains will collect the team kit (included schedule) and team shirts. From there, please continue through to the field. The first game kicks-off at 10:30 a.m. Game rules and regulations will also be handed out (games are self-refereed). (2) Tournament Format - There are 14 teams participating in the tournament (split into three pools) - Each team will play 4 games, plus playoffs (winners of each pool play in semi-finals, finals) - Games are 25 minutes long (3) Uniforms A4A provides a Rock the Pitch Charity Soccer Tournament game shirt. Please bring your own shorts, socks and cleats. Shin guards are optional. Lunch, snacks and a water bottle are good ideas too—there are many places on-site to acquire drinking water. (4) After-party When the games are over, we invite you to join your fellow Rock the Pitch participants, Athletes for Africa staff and our merry band of volunteers at Shoeless Joe’s Restaurant (1189 King Street West, less than one block west of the pitch). We have a section of the establishment reserved for Rock the Pitch and there will some snacks and drinks provided. Please do join us!
