The original Old Boys and some of our friends have been emailed the final plan, to return to our league from season 1, Tues nights.

For those who don't know, here are directions to Ultrasports:

Ultra Sports Centre is located at 1510 Birchmount Road. However, access to the facility is off of Burcana Drive. Burcana Drive is 2 streets South of Ellesmere on the West side of Birchmount.

First Old Boys win of the season, 4-3 over Red Bull, including a goal from our DP. ;)

Got a good feeling about this season.

A good start last night. Mercey really likes playing that mid-park creative role, and he can go forward and will certainly get goals from there. He and Jamie will work very well in that slot. A bit of useful contrast is that Jamie leans a bit more toward holding and being a field general.

Below is more or less what we had last night, but moving Aaron forward and Geoff back (which he originally expressed interest in). And of course adding Andre to the mix.

Left and right for defenders is obviously up for grabs. The only time we need a true left footed defender is those awful kick-ins from the back left corner with that protruding wall. Really, a short tap if there's no danger or decent toe-poke upfield will suffice from there...

It would be great to get 10 plus GK out to each game, so we can continue with this positional system where everyone ideally has a sub.
