He could score the winning goal and I wouldnt cheer. Bastard sent my RWE down to the third league on an injurty time game-tying wonder strike.

Anyways... who plays in the middle of the park?
I would guess the lineup would be:
----------------Hirschfeld-----------------
Stalteri--McKenna--Hainault--Klukowski
-----------------Harmse-------------------
Bernier-------Hutchinson-------Radzinski
---------Friend-----------Gerba----------
or
----------------Hirschfeld-----------------
Stalteri--McKenna--Hainault--Klukowski
---------Hutchinson---Harmse-----------
Bernier-------------------------Radzinski
----------Hume----------------------------
-------------------Gerba------------------
Thoughts?
Bioth lineups have protection for the backline, I would say the firsdt option is if we need a goal/begining of the game. The second look if we are up, protecting a lead.

That would be my guess as well, unless Jakovic is used ahead of Harmse as a d-mid (after all he was called to the previous two matches and Harmse wasn't).

Yup, I was tossing around that exact thought too. I just think Harmse may get the look considering his "form" as of late. "Form" meaning he has seen some playing time.

Aw man, why isn't Friend playing?
marktci - October 12, 2008 02:44 AM (GMT)

Is this the reverse of the Montreal game?

Andre the Giant for the equalizer...

:(
Apart from a new coach, we simply need to get better defenders. Two of the three goals (ie the difference in the scoreline) came from defenders getting beat one on one. Nothing any coach can do about that, and fact is those are the best defenders we had available.
It's apparent that this wasn't Canada's most talented team, because we didn't have our most talented defense, something that was often overlooked when talking about how great our midfield was (which we only ever got to see as a complete unit once in the four games). Play every decent prospect we can find in the next two games, give Dasovic a shot at interim coach, nothing to lose at this point.
