I just was fiddling on the net and I found a Mallett story abotu Budgie dying, wtf.
I started a youth soccer program for the kids in the Toronto housing sector a few years back and got a major grant for it because this guy helped out by putting his name on the project.
I remember sitting with him at the slug and lettuce having a few pints over some NFL football and all the guy could talk about was Mike Bossy is probably my favourite memory of the guy.
fuck talk about shitting on a day
This is Kris btw

The score did a big thing about it, and we had a moment of silence at one of the games for him.

You should look up the Score tribute that David mentioned, Kris. It was posted in their footy blog on June 12 (look at the June archives) and was excellent.
Brando did up a Budgie banner for 113, and RPB and NEE did banners as well. The moment of silence was impeccably observed at BMO at the Colorado match.
Here's what Sharman said in his score blog:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this Saturdays TFC match, however I have seen the pictures, and also heard about the respects shown to Budgie.
Pure class from all involved, from the club, to U-Sector, Red Patch Boys, North-End elite, and all those who attended the match.
Just spoke to Paul James, and he observed how the reaction to someones death is an example of the their legacy. Nuff said.
On behalf of Budgies family, thanks for the statement, just another example of how the footy community in Toronto and Canada is as tight, and as strong as any!

I'm gonna get a picture of the program when it was given the award and it has Budgie with the kids at good 'ol Mitchell Field gym and give it to his wife and hockey lovin kid.
Brando you got any pics of that banner bro?

Even Richie was quiet. It was breath-taking.
