^^ I wish I never saw that! :o

Agreed!

On another not has anyone else heard the radio ads for this game? With MLSE claiming the game is a must win?

Won't this just create more anxiety around the TFC community?

Clever, Peugeot 106 reference. ;)

From the MLS site:

"Silviu Petrescu will lead the officials on Saturday night. His assistant are Daniel Belleau and Kevin Duliba. The fourth official is David Gantar."

Historically, have we ever won a game with Petrescu as Referee?

He was "in charge" for our first win in 2007 but no-one really wins when Petrescu is the referee. The man lives to destroy football matches.

If TFC doesn't win this game, I'm going to wear a black t-shirt, while standing on one foot, while singing the Albanian national anthem, outside of Gate 1, while burning myself alive.

That'll show those greedy $$$$ bastards (The M, L and E are $ signs too).

Too much?

I hope to be at least 5 glasses of wine deep by the time the game starts, so when the inevitable happens, I'll be too buzzed to care.

Arden refursed to buy me wine on her way home from work so have sympathy for me. I think I've got just enough gin around to get angry drunk.

Excited to see the line-up on Twitter... could be telling about whether Winter's ready to start giving us a better chance to start getting ugly wins.

Salt Lake are coming off a very difficult three-game stretch in which they got one point. They will be looking forward to a breather at home, a summary dismissal of the worst team in the league. It may be optimistic fancy, but I expect us to frustrate them and nick, not an ugly win, but an unsightly point (make it grotesquely disfigured, I don`t care). At which point you can have a gin and tonic, a negroni perhaps, or a simple martini with a rare twist of joy, hold the bitters.

(That said, a loss away to RSL was never going to make me angry, just a tad more sullen and mopey.)

P.S. Hope to see other mood-altered West End gin-swillers at the ever grim Fiddler's Dell.

BHTC Mike - April 29, 2012 12:53 AM (GMT)
Aceval but no Emory. (Apparently Morgan is undroppable. <_< )

Avila as a winger? Or are we actually gonna try somthing radical and not play with three forwards?

Actual 4-5-1?

------------Johnson

-Avila-----Frings-----Lambe

------Dunfield---De Guz

Morgan--Aceval-Cann--Eck

?????????????

Or 4-4-1-1?

----------------Johnson

-----------Avila

Dunfield-Frings-De Guzman-Lambe

??????????????

I'm getting my hopes up, right?

Actually we havent fared too badly with him as ref ..... he might not be very good, but in 11 games its 6 wins, 3 draws and only 2 defeats ...... 1 win, 2 draws and 0 losses when he has reffed us away from BMO .... but having said that we just went 1-0 down !!!!!

I was gonna suggest the ginge might want to not look for a stream.

No worries. Comeback time! (This is all part of the "I'd rather lose 3-2 than tie 0-0 thing, right? This is what we wanted.)

To be fair, Avila should have put us one up.

roue - April 29, 2012 01:21 AM (GMT)
Not bad so far , only down 1-0 @ 13' <_<

chief. - April 29, 2012 01:24 AM (GMT)

The "bad luck" quotes are being primed for the press conference already.

Bob de Clerc : " Ya !"

for those who are watching the stream with the american commentators: I think one of them has been bullied by Cann in his youth. The guy has some serious grudge towards Cann!

That would be mild mannered Will Johnson. Must have seen that Bundesliga game with the Robben penalty.
