Historically, have we ever won a game with Petrescu as Referee?

He was "in charge" for our first win in 2007 but no-one really wins when Petrescu is the referee. The man lives to destroy football matches.

Arden refursed to buy me wine on her way home from work so have sympathy for me. I think I've got just enough gin around to get angry drunk.

Excited to see the line-up on Twitter... could be telling about whether Winter's ready to start giving us a better chance to start getting ugly wins.

Salt Lake are coming off a very difficult three-game stretch in which they got one point. They will be looking forward to a breather at home, a summary dismissal of the worst team in the league. It may be optimistic fancy, but I expect us to frustrate them and nick, not an ugly win, but an unsightly point (make it grotesquely disfigured, I don`t care). At which point you can have a gin and tonic, a negroni perhaps, or a simple martini with a rare twist of joy, hold the bitters.

(That said, a loss away to RSL was never going to make me angry, just a tad more sullen and mopey.)

P.S. Hope to see other mood-altered West End gin-swillers at the ever grim Fiddler's Dell.

Actually we havent fared too badly with him as ref ..... he might not be very good, but in 11 games its 6 wins, 3 draws and only 2 defeats ...... 1 win, 2 draws and 0 losses when he has reffed us away from BMO .... but having said that we just went 1-0 down !!!!!
