Title: How to buy rights to seasons?

lattes - September 20, 2011 11:43 AM (GMT)
I have heard of a lot of people buying rights to seasons, does anyone know how that works? Do you just have the name and contact info on the account changed or???

Any help much appreciated, I am on the list for 2012 seasons but want GOOD seasons so am willing to buy someone's rights from them for $500 for anything in 113-114.

Ok, I guess a better question... how much would you sell your rights for? I am not talking about the seasons as well, JUST the rights to the seasons.

I don't think its actually possible to transfer rights anymore.

Even if it could be done if you think it's something that people on *this* board would do you obviously haven't been paying attention and are in the wrong place.

From what I remember, transfer of tickets to another person was only allowed at the end of the first season where they specifically said it would not be allowed again in future. This is in order to maintain the integrity and fairness of the waiting list.

the integrity... of the waiting list.

Yeah man, you can't buy the rights to someone's ticket. They won't allow any mobility in that regard. We can't even split our multiples into new designates.

I don't mean to be pessimistic, but you're not getting an ST in the southend anytime soon. We're still relocating tickets and existing SSH get first crack at anything freed up during our relocation times.

Waiting list..?

What I would do in your place is to buy season tickets wherever you can.

Then when the relocation event comes up once a year hope that during your appointment time, there are seats available in the South End to move to.

Or jumping ahead of other season ticket holders wanting to relocate. Probably the more likely scenario

If you try to buy seasons this way the tickets will never be in your name.

People on this board have helped their friends get access to season tickets but not for personal profit. This is what I meant when I said that you're not really understanding this board if you think somebody here would be willing be looking to make a major profit off of you.

It's definitely worth being on the waiting list, buying a half season pack to upgrade to the platinum list, taking whatever season ticket(s) you can get once you get the chance and then locating. Lots of people have gone through all/some of these steps and have tickets.
