Katherine hated being in the dark and not letting everyone know that she was alive and well but in the meantime, she would play dead. She sat in the chair of her hotel room as she looked around the empty room. She wanted so bad to go to Damon and toy with him a bit but for the time being she would play nice and let him be for now. She stood up and walked to the bathroom and walked over to the shower. She turned on the shower to let the water warm up before she stepped into the shower. When the water was warmed enough she stripped of her clothes and stepped into the shower.

She smiled as she let the warm water run down her body and she closed her eyes and then she reopened her eyes. She took in a breath as she grabbed a cloth and lathered it up with soap and ran the soapy cloth over her body to wash her off. She set the cloth on the shelf in the shower and washed the soap from her body as she then took the shampoo and poured a little into her hand as she washed her hair and then rinsed her hair and repeated with conditioner. Once she finished in her shower, she turned the water off and grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her tiny frame of a body and stepped out of the shower. She grabbed another towel and started to dry herself off.

She did wonder how long it would be until Damon found out she was in town and hidden. She had a witch friend use a spell to keep her hidden from most people but she knew the spell was a bit leary with one person and her witch friend made sure to point that out. Katherine walked to the closet and dressed in a pair of black leather pants and a purple top with a black jacket and a pair of spiked heals. She fixed her hair and make-up and walked to the balcony and looked out at the woods that surrounded the hotel she was staying in.

She walked out of the room and down the stairs as she made her way outside. She took in a air of the day and the scents around her as she made her way into the woods. She walked without fear of what animal could hurt her only because she could kill the animal instantly. She walked to the ruins and looked around. She had plans that would take place here later but for now she wanted to get a feel for the place.
