Of course starting a new life, a new home, a new school was easy...yeah right. Okay so moving here was the easy part, finding a place where she could stay that was cheap was okay. But going back to school, and having to play catch up for all the years that she missed not being in school was going to be almost impossible. Isabella had promised herself that she would do whatever it took to try and lead a normal life, and that also meant getting a job so that she could pay rent. All she could hope for was that she can get all of this to work.
Her first day of school was today. She got up and showered, put on a little make up, gathered her things and headed out the door. The walk was not very long, five...ten minutes tops. Isabella didn't know that if it was just her paranoia playing tricks on her or if people were staring. Whatever the case was she held her head high and pretended like she didn't notice.
The first two classes seemed to have just passed like a blur. Geometry was definitely not her strong point, and English class is not so bad. Maybe she could write her own story one day, and turn it into a bestseller. But that at the moment was going to be far off. Lunch on the other hand was probably going to be her new favorite subject for a while.
In the lunch room, she never felt more out of place then she did here. Everyone seemed to have their little cliché that they belonged to. The only question is, is if she will ever fit in. Letting out a small sigh she sat down at the nearest empty table and pulled a small brown paper bag from her back pack and set it upon the table.
