When we as simmers write our Missions, what we are really writing is a Novel. It's not
an original Novel or one we can sell for cash (curse you copyright laws!) but it is still essentially a Novel. So, since this is ultimately one large piece of writing, we need to have some rules about how and what we post so that the finished product can be read through without too much confusion.

Posting Style:
On the Ticonderoga, we write Novel Style posts because it is easier and more interesting to read. We don't write Script style because the odds of this ever being acted out are somewhere between 0/1000 to 0/1000000000000000000000. We do however modify Novel Style in certain ways to make it easier for us to all work together. The first thing we do is that we use Time and Place Codes. Here is an example:

We also use TAGs in our posts as a way to show another player that there is something we'd like them to do. TAGs are written like this:

How often do we post?:

Each Post must be at least a half page in Word to count.

To Stay on the Promotion Track: You must post once a week.

If you do not post for three weeks you will be declared inactve and officially removed. This does not mean that you can stay active by posting every 20 days, people who repeatedly go more than 7 days between posts may still be removed.

If you won't be able to be around for a while to post that's okay, just contact me or the XO and tell us you need an LoA or an ELoA.

These rules are void if the Captain has other plans, for instance right now you are all waiting on me to advance the plot.
