I was going to bump the old thread, but it seems to be locked. Anyhoo, the background doesn't seem to be showing up for me anymore.

Oh dear, I thought that was our network being crappy (useless with computers, that's my technical term). At least that’s one piece of good news, the forum isn’t working properly but my computer is. :)

I can't help, as the background never shows up for me anyway.

404 Error makes me think that the image is one of the two.

Also, it looks as though the image is hosted on someone else's site, probably not Cluich's so there's probably little anyone can do.

I suppose it doesn't help for me to say that I can see the image just fine on my screen, even though I can look at Karmi's monitor and see that it's not there for her. :P

It's going through a spotty period. It's done this before. I'll give it another day, and if it's not working properly then, I'll deal with it.

For the people who can see it, it's probably still in your cache.

If I went looking through my cache, I would probably find Jimmy Hoffa, Amelia Earheart, the Lindbergh baby, and the struggling remnants of my sanity. I ain's clearing it out. I may need those things some day.

It should be in my cache, since I'm here at least half a dozen times a day, but I still can't view it myself. I'll be sure to have it fixed, though, before the weekend's out.

Whereas I keep my cache just big enough to hold common images within a page (ie: so I'm not reloading images every time I look at my inventory in KoL). I think mine's at 2MB. Then again, that was when I was going on dialup. I might shrink it.

Work compy's at 1MB, the minimum.

I haven't actually checked what my cache is set to, but I have a terrible habit of not clearing out such things.
