Welcome to Two Different Worlds, a recently finished site now open to the public. It's a future Harry Potter site with a slightly AU twist. After the Final Battle, a new war came upon the wizaridng world. The fear of extinction of the magical race. The Muggleborn - Pureblood marraige law changed the world with an era of more fighting and struggling to survive. It was that or leave the world you once knew behind forever.
Now it's 2017 with more twists in it. The Ministry of Magic appointed phycologists in Hogwarts for divorced and/or troubled students reported by a teacher. No one those know of there true intentions. It's not to help but to prevent any rebellion against the Ministry. The Death Eaters are more at large than ever to carry on it's legacy with more force. All this started to bring the Order back up.

Name/Alias: Amber Gender: Female Age: 17 How did you find us?: Advertisement on another board, forgot which one >.< Secret Word: I love coco cola Other Characters?: None currently
• BACK TO BASICS • Full Name: Rose Jillian Snape Nickname(s): Rosie, Jill, RJ Etymology: Rose – it means exactly what it states, a Rose and it is from English origin Jillian –means youthful and it is from English origin Snape –an old English family name, “to snap” (to utter sharp biting words) Birthday?: June 13 Age: Sixteen Year: Sixth House: Gryffindor Pets: A ginger haired cat named Tiger. She uses Cassie’s owl to send letters to home. Your Alliance: Neutral Home: Outside of Hogwarts, the Snape children live in their father’s Manor. It is quite grand and Rose enjoys having friends come over. The only problem Rose has with the situation is that she shares a room with her twin, Evander. Rose doesn’t have a problem with sharing a room so much as sharing closet space. It’s annoying to find a tie mixed in with her shirts. At least Elysia and Andrea are forced to share a room as well. However, Cassie seems to have lucked out by attaining a room of her own without sharing any space. Ah well, there is some good from sharing closet space with Evander. When she was little Rose used to hide behind Evander’s clothes and jump out at him. It was great fun…for her at least. Now, with her being in Gryffindor and Evander being in Slytherin she has even more fun. Rose decorated her bed with a crimson and gold color scheme and would sometimes “accidentally” misplace her Gryffindor blanket by putting it on Evander’s bed. Child of the law?: Yes
• ANGELIC LOOKS BEHIND THE DEVIL •
Hair: Dark brown with light brown highlights Facial Features: Her features are more prominent than most. Her nose, eyes, and mouth tend to stick out on top her circular face. Her face isn’t long so the features are not stretched out. Thankfully her waves of hair tend to make her features soft otherwise they would seem hard-edged and strict like her father’s. Height & Weight: 5’5 and 112 lbs Clothing Style: Comfortable and causal. If it feels nice and doesn’t have holes it shall be worn. Best feature: Her lips which are full and with the right tone of pink Rose believes they are perfect. Overall Appearance:
Rose Jillian is the complete mixture of both sides of the family, Granger and Snape. Dark strands of hair fall into soft waves that frame her pale features. Honey brown highlights are woven within the dark strands and create a shine that seem to make her appearance more appealing. The length isn’t too long though it does go past her shoulders. Similar to her father, Rose’s complexion is cream white. She rarely tans and instead is prone to sunburns. Luckily, not a mole, freckle, nor any marks can be found on her body. Her skin is a blank canvas that works well with her mainly dark colored hair.
Pale full pink lips look similar to brush strokes as if those lips were painted on by an artist. The corners of her mouth mostly never turn downward on a daily basis. Rose is typically seen with a smile. Her lips are feather liked compared to her nose which seems to be quite noticeable from a far distance. Now, it’s not as bad as her father’s nose though it is obvious that her nose comes from the Snape side of the family. The end is upturned slightly and button in shape so that it tends to protrude more than others. Perhaps if it hadn’t been that button shape at the end then it would have been normal, but sadly, genetics just did not see it fit that Rose should go without the Snape nose.
Finally, her eyes stare out at the world with a sparkle. The color is not a Snape trait at all. The color was one passed down by the Grangers (Hermione’s grandmother precisely), at least it seems to be, and Rose actually enjoys it more than the common Snape black orbs. Ice blue, almost as clear as a diamond, views the world from a fair skinned complexion. Many people are turned off by Rose’s incising stare. It is a color that unnerves people, makes one feel as if she could see right into a soul and perhaps even more. It is hard to decipher feelings through such a color. More often than not that confuses people even more. Shouldn’t a clear color offer an easier sight to see through? The color though, seems to add an icy glint that masks emotions more easily than a dark brown color could.
At the height of 5’5 she has little to worry about since it is average. However, it does become a bit of nuisance to be a typical height when the rest of her family tends to be tall.

• BEAUTY ON THE INSIDE •
Likes:Playing games Jokes Being a Gryffindor[k] Her family Laughter Hot chocolate Charms class Her housemates (they tend to get along fine with her) Reading Qudditch (watching rather than playing) Mint chocolate chip ice cream Dark chocolate Roses Boys (she tends to get nervous whenever the topic or idea of having a boyfriend comes up) Dislikes:Pain White chocolate Blueberries Being ignored Negative outlooks Getting lost Anyone who insults her family Disapproval Being picked up (more of an annoyance) Foul orders Backstabbers Losing friendships Getting yelled at Tears Herbology Strengths:Approachable Positive Outgoing Weakness:Easily embarrassed Gullible Too trusting Dementor: Slowly Rose sank into the seat assigned to her. First day of her first year at Hogwarts and already she was terrified. Her sister and brother had both been placed in Slytherin. It was Snape tradition. Rose was always a fan of tradition. It seemed that the sorting hat wasn’t. The girl sitting next to her was a Ravenclaw. Goosebumps erupted across Rose’s skin as she turned to face her Charms partner. The girl smiled. The smile didn’t reach the girl’s eyes. Before Rose could utter a word the girl silenced her with a glare.
“Just because you were sorted into Gryffindor does not mean you’re anything special. You’re still a Snape. My mother told me all about Professor Snape and how he was. You’re no different. You will never be different and you certainly will never make any friends!” Rose stared, wide eye, as the girl smirked and turned back around to face the professor. In silence, Rose hung her head down and tried to keep the tears from falling. She was never spoken to like that before. However, the girl was a Ravenclaw and probably knew a bit more about things. The girl also had a point, Rose was no different, she was still a Snape. Had the sorting hat been wrong to place her in Gryffindor? Would she really make no friends?
Patronus: Otter One would think that being sick would cause a person to feel horrible. However, little Rosie was smiling as her nose continued to run. Quickly another tissue was pushed under her nose and rubbed.
“What are we going to do with you? Your nose just won’t stop running.” Her mother’s voice held concern as she looked down at her daughter. The bags under her eyes went unnoticed by Rose. The time was 1:15 in the morning and the rest of the family was asleep. Even Evander hadn’t woken up when mother came into the room to fret over Rose. Rose had Hermione all to herself. Seizing the opportunity, Rose squirmed her way onto her mother’s lap and there the two sat on top Rose’s bed. All was silent as mother and daughter rested. Every minute Rose would sniffle and the tissue would once again find its way under her nose. Though it was brief and Rose was sick, she had mother to herself. Everything was perfect.
Boggart: Each one of her family members stating that they no longer what to be associated / associate with her. Overall Personalty: Life is a rose;
No one can be summed up with a single word. Everyone has their virtues. Everyone has their demons. Adjectives were made for a reason. Adjectives were created for individuals like Rose Jillian Snape who cannot seem to keep her self content for more than fifteen minutes. The second daughter of Severus and Hermione Snape is active. Rose tends to be ever moving, running from one spot to the next, joining in on discussions and just enjoying life to the fullest. The girl is typical seen possessing a smile. Rose is always lighthearted and humorous. Lacking a certain skill for handling serious situations, Rose is prone to little schemes and play fighting. She has the intelligence to pull off grand pranks similar to the infamous Weasley twins. She is after all the daughter of Severus and Hermione. However, she doesn’t possess the patience for conducting something so huge. Besides, she would rather it be little so that the effect of her mischief doesn’t last long. Rose Jillian hates being yelled at. The few times that people have spoken harshly to her made tears come to her eyes. Unlike her father, Rose is not well adapted to keeping her opinions contained and her mind unaffected by others.
One cannot help but notice the eerie differences between the Snape twins. While Evander tends to be untrusting, Rose is too trusting. It comes with the territory of being outgoing. Rose would happily make friends with anyone so long as the person is decent. It is easy to tell that Rose hides nothing. While her eyes may hold little, if any, emotion; Rose’s voice and antics tend to display it all. She is not afraid to be herself. Whether she is whist into the limelight or stuck in a dark corner, Rose Snape is nothing less. Despite coming from an intellectual family Rose is quite gullible. She is aware that there are many people who may use her; however, she is also aware that there are good people. Rose tends to believe all her friends and acquaintances are good and therefore they wouldn’t lie to her…right? If any one of her friends had lied to her, watch out. Rose despises backstabbers and the like. She is extremely loyal to friends and family. Any one who breaks that loyalty is automatically made public enemy number one in Rose’s book.
Her anger is more passive aggressive. While Evander lashes out, Rose stares knowingly from her corner and waits for the perfect moment to strike. She is able to keep her anger in check up until a certain extent. However, while she may forgive silly mistakes, Rose never forgets. She can easily laugh situations off, but there is a fine line between a joke and an insult. With her knowledge in charms and potions enemies best watch out. Since she is also easily embarrassed Rose does take things to heart. Sometimes an unsuspecting bystander may turn into an enemy without any knowledge that Rose has marked him or her down as one. As long as a person stays on her good side there is nothing to worry about. Her father is the potions master after all and he certainly wouldn’t stop Rose from taking revenge on anyone who tarnishes the family name.
beware of the thorns.
• TICKING LIKE A CLOCK •
Parents:Mother: SNAPE, hermione [granger] Father: SNAPE, severus Siblings:Older Sister: Elysia Snape Twin Brother: Evander Snape Younger Sister: Cassandra Snape Younger Sister: Andrea Weasley Snape Other Family:History: The sun was shining the day that Rose Jillian Snape was born. It was June 13th and Hermione Snape was expecting twin girls. Rose was born exactly three minutes before her suppose-to-be twin “sister”, however, the Snape family would welcome an unsuspecting surprise when a boy was born instead of a girl. Rose’s twin brother was born minutes after her. Luckily the twins were healthy. The parents were relieved – that is until the twins started to grow. Rose certainly didn’t wait long to explore the world. She would often crawl away from her parents and siblings. It seemed, even as a baby, Rose was inclined to be active. Without much assistance Rose took her first steps toward the kitchen door.
As years went on the difference between the twins emerged. While Evander was displaying his emotions through countless doll massacres, Rose was hand painting or playing small pranks on her family members. She would often take Cassie and Andrea (her little sisters) by the hand and lead the two outside to play. More than anything else in the world Rose loved games and laughter. By the age of eight, Hermione and Severus were well adapted to Rose’s schemes. For one of her schemes, Rose hide inside a cabinet waiting for one of her parents to open it up. Severus (the unlucky soul) opened the cabinet only to have Rose jump out and land on him. It was hard to her Severus’ scream over Rose’s laughter. The only time Rose truly became angry was when Evander wouldn’t play a game with her. It was easy to get Cassie and Andrea to play, however, both Elysia and Evander were a different story. Once in a while her elder sister and twin brother would play tag or hide and go seek. Luckily it pays to be a schemer. Rose would began to pout then stomp her feet at Elysia and Evander. If that did not work she would cover her eyes and began to brawl. Her brawling caused sympathy or annoyance, Rose really didn’t care to know since it usually worked either way.
Many of her childhood memories consisted of moments with her mother. It wasn’t that her father wasn’t around for Rose. It just felt as if he didn’t really concern himself that much. Through mother’s guidance Rose learned the proper manners. Mother could also be blamed for Rose’s outgoing attitude since Hermione would often preach the importance of being friendly. It didn’t help that Rose would visit her godfather, Ronald Weasley, and learn the art of social activity. From an early age Rose was marked to be different from the rest of her family. While Elysia and Cassie followed father around and learned social skills from him, Rose had a much more brighter range, all who happened to be former Gryffindors. Pansy, Rose’s godmother, did try to get her to become more reserved. Pansy would visit Rose and Evander bearing “advice”. Rose would usually be taken to have a private talk with her godmother. During these private talks Rose would be lectured about how the “proper” lady should be; reserved, calculating, ambitious and powerful. Perhaps it was the talks that made Rose so adamant about continuing the way she was acting. Mother never said anything to Rose after the talks. Father didn’t say anything either. It seemed the two agreed not to argue over it for the sake of the family. A part of Rose wished that her parents had fought or at least spoken about Pansy’s attempts to guide her.
Finally, Rose and Evander turned eleven. Years before Rose had shown her magical abilities. It occurred when she was playing tag and was being chased by Andrea. Rose was about to be tagged when she tried to gain speed. Well, she gained speed all right. Rose ran so fast that she ended up four yards away from where Andrea was about to catch her. At the time it was scary but Rose fondly looks back on the memory. The year had come and Rose would be joining Elysia at Hogwarts. Mother took Elsyia and herself shopping for school supplies. Cassie and Andrea came along as well. Rose allowed Andrea to pick out a quill. Rose promised to use the quill only for writing letters strictly to Andrea. The three Snape children boarded the train and headed toward Hogwarts. Father would be there, but Rose still couldn’t keep a rock from forming in her stomach. Rose made sure to stay close by Evander. The second that she left the train Rose held his hand. Her grip only tightened as the moments dragged on and Rose was faced with the sorting ceremony. Elysia was already seated at the Slytherin table, however, Rose knew, in the back of her mind, somehow she just did not belong there.
She only let go of Evander’s hand once his name was called. The hat had sorted him into Slytherin and now it was her turn. She stole a glance at her father before the sorting hat slipped onto her head. He had smiled, faintly. “GRYFFINDOR!” It felt like time stood still for a split second before it picked up again and Rose found herself seated under a gold and crimson banner. She couldn’t bring herself to look over at the Slytherin table nor could she turn her eyes upward to face her father. Mother had been a Gryffindor. It was bittersweet. During dinner few had spoke to her. Rose wasn’t much help in the introduction apartment. Usually she would be cheerful and talkative but Rose wasn’t in the mood. The first day of classes was difficult. However, as time progressed Rose found that the sorting hat had been correct in her placement in Gryffindor. The Ravenclaw girl from her Charms class was wrong. Rose was making friends! Perhaps being a Gryffindor wasn’t as difficult as she originally thought it was going to be.
Other?: godmother Pansy Finch-Fletchley (much to Hermione’s dismay) godfather Ronald Weasley (much to Severus’ dismay)

| QUOTE | Everything was brilliant, absolutely wonderful, why do you ask Mister McLaggan? Yes, that would have been a lovely response to a concerned companion. Concerned companion, however nice that title sounded, was not a category Juliet usually dealt with. She usually dealt with the surprised stranger, pitiful glance of a nearby Hufflepuff or even the loud mouth bully…Concerned companion was still a bit new to her. And so, it would be quite acceptable to say that Juliet Belby merely pushed her back deeper into the wall before allowing one eye, her left eye (the one furthest from the opening), to open and glance into the face of Mister McLaggan. A startled gasp escaped Juliet’s pale pink lips as she finally realized that he was eye level to her. Now that was different. Last time she checked he had been taller than her and now…Oh dear, had she done something? It took longer than necessary for Juliet to notice that Gerard had leaned over to her height on the ground. That made logical sense. So, with the knowledge that she hadn’t entered an alternative universe Juliet smiled at him.
The hand that waved in front of her face didn’t distract her attention at all. Actually it kept her one eye focused near Gerard’s face and away from the raindrops. “No, nothing seems to be wrong, at least so far that I know.” Despite the reply, Juliet’s voice did seem a bit tense. In the back of her mind the sound of raindrops falling made it quite difficult to think of words that would link together to form a sentence. Oh Merlin, why couldn’t restraint be an easy thing? Just a simple whack against her temple would cure this whole thing. If that didn’t knock her unconscious than she would at least be in too much pain to do anything. However, normal people did not knock themselves out and therefore, she would not do it. Besides Gerard may stop her from doing so in the first place so it wouldn’t work anyway. Quickly Juliet spat out a few more words. Anything that would keep the discussion going, “Why? Did something happen that I should be aware about?” Perfect: If that wasn’t a sign of mental instability than Juliet did not know what was.
Of course she knew that everything was fine. Gerard would not be here if everything wasn’t fine. He probably wanted to know why she was holding herself tight against a stone wall inside the north tower during a rainy day. Most people would be fairly curious, it was human nature. With a soft sigh, Juliet managed to open her right eye as well so now she saw the world in regular perspective, at least body wise. She kept her arms crossed though along with her legs. There was no way she would let all her guard down. It just took one second and BAM the rain would win. Carefully, she focused her attention on Gerard and kept it there. Their relationship had started only a few weeks ago and yet, he was one of the few and somewhat proud that she could call a friend. His sister was in her house and only a year older, but, Juliet wasn’t one to make friends often and therefore she didn’t really know the girl. Ah well. “So, what brings you up here? Don’t you enjoy the rain?” Of course he enjoyed the rain. Everyone enjoyed the rain. It was just that most people didn’t dance in the rain. That was it. That was why he was here. It all made perfect sense. Oh Merlin, if only her parents were more observant when she was a child…Perhaps she wouldn’t be this way. |
