[Pisces]

The light drizzle of rain fell upon a misty grey figure drifting across the sandy shore. In the eeire, dim light teary sea form twin pools glowed, enhancing the long haired figure. It neared the wide expanse of murky aquamarine liquid. The waning moon stare down upon the the four-legged creature, and the creature; whose long muzzle ; whose ears pointed forward; and whose short tail pointed heavenward, looked up to the sky and let out a mournful howl wishing another could share in the midnight's beauty.

He lowered his shaggy crown his gaze sweeping across the sea. He loved the sea; the reason he was here. Word of a Pisces pack had reached his ears only a few days ago. He was given the name Thalysias; it held no meaning but it was a name and he was honoured to recive it when he joined the ranks. Thalysias held only a subordinate rank, yet he aspirered to hold a higher rank.

The rythmical beat the waves held lost the brute in thought. His intellectual mind whirled with new ideas. Cocking a brow the young virlie lowered his head and peered into a small tidal pool he had come across. Dipping a paw into the water he felt across the soft, cool sand; playfully swishing it through the water until it bumped into what had caught his attention in the first place. A scitterish minnow swam quickly around, hiding in the shadows. A toothy grin spread across Thalysias face and he looked closer into the water, his breath making minuet ripples, sending the minnow into a frenzy, ending with a plop! The grin faded into a genlte smile, and his sea green eyes traced the minnow as it swam away from the coast. "Good bye, my friend," he whispered, taking a seat, watching the waves.

<sub>Zodiac's large paws seemed to stroke the ground lovingly as he ran across the ground, his paws in one large step in with each other. Thump, Thump, Thump. He was going amazingly fast and if he was to lose his step and trip it would be a painful fall. But he didn't, he weaved in and out of the trees, splashing through puddles, concentrating feircely on running. Out of all things, running was an absolute joy for him. The feeling of power and speed that he gained as he pumped his legs.

But he had to keep his mind on track. The whole point of his running was to get to Pisces Pack, he had heard there was a new recruit(sp?) who had joined. And since Pisces Pack currently had no Alpha, it was Zodiac's job to greet the wolf. To test him or perhaps her. Maybe an Alpha had finally arrived.

He arrived on the shore within moments and jolted slightly as the ground under his paws went from Marsh to Sand. He spun on a tilt and moved in an arch to avoid the ocean. He could see the wolf now. And slowed down, so as not to alarm him. Which now the wolf was obviously spotted as a 'He'.

"Greetings." Zodiac said, his voice the usual deep growl.</sub>

[Pisces]

Thalysias had just begun to drift off when the sound of another's voice echoed through his auds. His ears swiveled towards the sound, and through the side of his soft green eyes caught sight of another wolf. A small smile creased his perused lips and he turned his head to face the newcomer.

"Greetings to you," rumbled his kind masculine voice before he dipped his head in respect at once able to tell he was in front of the Water Alphi. The long strands of fur pricked long his neck in nervousness for having never encountered an Alphi before. His head rose, though he kept his eyes lower knowing not to look another wolf in the eyes; just good edict. "The name is Thalysias." Pride flowed from each syllable in his name and he felt as if he should stand just a little straighter, in which he did.

[Zodiac]

<sub>The black wolf nodded, his eyes slightly clouded as if distracted, as the wolf spoke. Though it might have seemed like he wasn't listening, Zodiac was smiling his aproval inside. Well...maybe not 'smiling' as he rarly smiled inside or out, but he approved all the same. This wolf knew what he was doing at least.

"Thalysias, eh?" he said after the wolf had introduced himself.

He stopped for a second. Staring out into the ocean. It was magnificently beautiful at night, as many things were. The waves were silent, yet they roared. All was still, yet all was moving. He blinked as a wave of cool ocean water swept over his paws. Turning his head back to Thalysias, he said matter-of-factly.

"I am Zodiac." he did not mention that he was the Alphi, he did not mention that he could deny this wolf joining permission. Weither Thalysias knew it or not, he did not care. It was better to see how a wolf performed around his equals rather then his supiors.

"You wish to join Pisces Pack? Or have already?" he said, his ruff vioce slightly toned down.</sub>

[Pisces]

Thalysias nodded his shaggy head slowly, "Yes," he murmmured to the retorical question before following the black wolf's gaze onto the sea. It calmed him a bit to breath in the deep, salty aroma; his calmness and reasurance flowed back into him.

"Zodiac, a celver name," he smiled, almost regretting he had added his comment in the end; but never the less he continued on, "Why yes, I have recently joined the Pisces pack. I've not yet met many, and was given my name rather quickly and then shown the way out. Actually it was only a sun or so ago I joined." silvery fur ruffled around his head, and his tail tip twitched with curiousity. "Why do you ask?" his brow forrowed, and he looked into Zodiac's face for the first time.

[Zodiac]

<sup>Zodiac thought it best to ignore the name spite. But instead answered the other question. "Oh, I just needed to make sure you were not tresspassing on Aquanisa territory. For if you were a tresspasser, I would have to kill you." he said it very nonchalontly, as if killing a tresspasser ment almost nothing to him. Of course it did. But the name slight had irritated him slightly and he wanted that satisfactory feeling of power that he always got when he proved his rank.

Changing the subject Zodiac said still looking at the ocean, "I do suppose you have heard of the Wave Hindri..." he turned to look at Thalysias. A questioning look in his eyes. He said it in a conversational manner but was intensely curious at the wolf's answer.</sup>

[Pisces]

"Oh, I just needed to make sure you were not tresspassing on Aquanisa territory. For if you were a tresspasser, I would have to kill you."

Thalysias nodded at the comment Zodiac had made; he forced a smile to not show his nervousness at the titan's comment. "I'm not tresspasser, sire," he murmmered looking out towards the sea for a heartbeat before turning his attention back to Zodiac.

"I do suppose you have heard of the Wave Hindri..."

Again, that nervous smile etched further into Thalysias's featured face. Short small ears folded backwards, and his teary sea green optics fell to the sand. "I know a bit about them... but not much, I'm afraid." His expression hardened growing blank as he looked hellwards.

[Zodiac]

<sub>"Of course your not...of course your not." he said cheerfully. Still staring out over the water. Almost as if he wasn't paying attention to the new wolf. He was making the wolf uneasy, ah poor fellow. He had no idea what was comming to him. And he would need to disguise his nervousness better then that if he was to make an impression.
He paused for a bit, letting the drama build up. Finally he said,

"The Wave Hindri. As you may already know, are my followers. Well, my closer followers. I would even go so far as to call them, 'My Gaurd'." he turned his head and looked into the eyes of the other wolf. "These followers will gaurd the lands, protect the wolves inside the borders." By this point he might possibly have the wolf thinking that he wished for him to join the Wave Hindri. Oh no, that was not his aim.

"You need to know this because"-Here comes the big bang-"All alpha's need to know it."</sub>

[Pisces]

Thalysias' gazed floated sky wards as Zodiac started speaking of the Wave Hindri. The long-haired brute's ivory tassel curled along the sand and over his silvery paws as he listened intently ensuring himself that if he ever were to be quized again he'd know it all.

But, it confused him as to why this wolf asked him these questions. Maybe it is some kind of test... to get into the pack... different thoughts crossed his mind, but when the last words were uttered by the titan standing before him:

"You need to know this because... All alpha's need to know it."

Thalysias' expression softened, his heart skipped a beat and his jaw unhindged. His words came out in a stutter. Did this wolf really mean what he said? Am I taking this the wrong way? "E-exuse me...? But," Thalysias inhaled deeply, not wanting to make a fool of himself he closed his mouth. Wait! You could be passing up the greastest chance in your life! "D-do you mean to say," he forced his words to come out properly, "that I am an alpha?"

[Zodiac]

<sub>Zodiac smiled, his eyes softer then they usually were, almost jolly. But not quite there. Then he spoke in his deep, rough growl that seemed less as he was slightly amused. "If you would like to be." The great wolf nodded his head and looked back out onto the sea, and shrugged slightly.

"It is completly your chioce, however." he said calmy, "I can find another if you wish..."</sub>

[Pisces]

Thalysias' jaw dropped further down in shock. His handsome sea green eyes widended like the moon as they drifted towards the ground. It was a no brainer for him. He quickly closed his jaw in embarressment but contained himself. With a nod he spoke, "I-" the sound that echoed through his vocals was high-pitched and crackling. Clearing his throat he spoke again. "I'd be honored, Zodiac." He bowed his tail rising with his new found domanice and tears of happiness srung to his eyes. He grined from ear to ear. "You won't be disappointed!"

[Zodiac]

<sub>"I better not be..." he growled meanacingly. Then let out a laugh (which was rare for him I assure you) and beamed. The mood of things seemed to have changed, the place going from a very smooth, calm sea beach, to a happy sort of spunky mood. "Your all right kid." he said, his voice back to it's usual gruffness, yet his jaws were still parted in a smile.

"You'll be needing some members, I assume." he said suddenly.\</sub>

[Pisces]

Thaylsias let out a small howl of merriment as he rose to all fours, his creamy tassel wagged furiously behind him. He didn't know what to say, so instead he continued grinning.

"You'll be needing some members, I assume."

"Yes, I defenitly will be needing some wolves in my pack," He sat back down again, curling his tail across his shinning silver paws. "Where do you think I'll find them?" His sea green gaze drifted around the sea and beach.

<sub>Zodiac watched carefully as the wolf sat down. He had faith in the young wolf. But Aquanisa didn't need another 'Anistashia' that was for sure. ((News on Anistashia coming soon)) He shuddered inwardly as he remembered the chaos of her rule. And yet... He shook his head slightly, pushing back past thoughts and feelings.

Forcing his mind back to the conversation around him, Zodiac answered, slightly feint. "Anywhere really." he said matter-of-factly, "Around here and their. You may find some of the past Pisces pack members..." here his eyes clouded for a second then straightened, "And there are many loners out there, keep your eyes open."</sub>

[Pisces]

His crianial still turned towards the sea Thaylsias placed his two front paws into the salty liquid, not noticing Zodiac's body position until he spoke again. "I'll check out the camp first... fix things up. Im sure there won't be many though." The hued brute's head hung low and he looked hellwards at his paws in the water. "Do you think I would be able to find any..." he looked up towards Zodiac, his eyes shinning with amusement and a small smile grew upon his lips as an echo of laughter rose thrrough his throat. "Nevermind... it's a stupid question." His ears flickered backwards and forwards showing his nervousness. "Where's a good place to look for loners who need a home?"
